The first: the color of Astrophage

The Astrophages depicted in the movie were generally black—no, completely black—but at the same time, I felt they were fascinating creatures that emitted infrared radiation (except for the fact that they kill stars).

This is what I thought about why Rocky breathes ammonia.

Edirians, Rocky breathes ammonia. It is a completely different way of breathing from Earth's life forms. And before I watched PHM, I saw a series on a Korean educational broadcasting service that explained the scientific things within PHM.

It explained that the reason Rocky takes the form of rock is likely because the elements composing it are similar to those in Earth's geology. It is silicon. The theory is supported by the fact that most of the Earth's geology is composed of silicon and most of the Earth's rocks are silicate minerals, and there are also experimental results that support the speculation that the Rocky is composed of silicon.

The content of the experiment is that there is a result showing success in an experiment to create artificial life forms by combining carbon and silicon in an artificial elemental bonding environment in a laboratory. And this essentially proves that rock-like—no, inorganic matter—can exist as a living organism, just like Rocky.

However, the human of this AU come to the protagonist's house at night as in the game. What is the reason?

In the stratosphere, there is an atmosphere composed of ozone called the ozone layer. This ozone layer destroys UV-rays from the sun. Therefore, there is a high probability that the ozone layer will also disappear with only a small amount of stratosphere left due to the extinction of the atmosphere. Then it becomes almost impossible to be active due to UV-rays during the day.

Also, in another view point, there is a possibility that the ozone layer will be destroyed by destroying UV-rays and re-synthesizing due to the effect of death, so the ozone layer will be destroyed.
