Hello! I'm Jiam and this is a sideblog for art geared towards game design since this year (2026) I'm gonna major in Game Development. I'm gonna post my learning experiences throughout my major and various other things, such as my beginner art and animation in Blender, pixel art, character design, game design, game development, ideas etc.

I'll organize everything in tags and link them in this very same post. You will also find links to video tutorials that I've followed to do some things in every post (when used).

My Programming 2nd midterm project!

It's got TONS of bugs and didn't come out *exactly* as I expected, I had very little time to finish it and pressure was higher than my ambition.

But, I had LOTS of fun!! You can try it out on my itch.io! Would love to have some feedback!!

Sketches from my 2D Art class!

The assigment was to create a random character, name it, and give a little bit of a background about it, then draw it in three neutral poses, and then in two different dynamic poses following certain composition rules and references.

So here it is Appie! She's a magical girl in a Sakura Card Captor way, she goes to school, she likes to hang out with friends, bake, and fight evil. She also has a little magical pet companion (a white kitty with cute wings) that I haven't drawn yet, but will!

These are the first two instructions of the assignment. Next point is to create 14 different color palettes following some rules, but we haven't had a color theory class yet, so I will post that later.

On Monday I had Probability, Tuesday 2D Art, Wednesday English, Thursday Game Design and on Friday Programming!!
