This is literally what shipping is about - you see and interpret things on screen, and make sense out of it in your own way.

To me, Destiel is a real thing, to you is Wincest, and Jensen’s own opinion about this is irrelevant- especially when stated in such a rude way. A lot of people from SPN cast don’t ship Destiel (or Wincest in your case), which is ABSOLUTELY okay, but then they don’t go to a con, for which people pay a hella lot of money that end up in their bank account, only to say that the thing they believe in is not real. Sometimes they say say their opinion in a nice, easy way, and sometimes they avoid answering. Both things are fine. An actor saying that one of the biggest ships in the fandom doesn’t exist is like a poet saying that you can’t feel melancholic about his poem because you were supposed to be angry. It only means that he’s a horrible poet then :)

It’s really not for Jensen to decide how people interpret his lovey-dopey eyes on screen. If he doesn’t want us to understand things that way then he can play Dean differently and stop planting those lovey-dopey eyes everywhere. It’s really that simple. 

This isn’t about fan interpretation. It’s about fact. For a website full of people that are supposedly aware of Trump’s way of ignoring truth and manipulating with emotions, it seems like a lot of Destiel shippers do the same damned thing. 

Ship your ship. 

I hope you feel better for having got that off your chest? I’m guessing you had a bad day and needed to vent as stress relief? Not really sure where this is coming from, but okay.

Granted, at this point, I’m inclined to agree they won’t get together on the show despite the writers multiple efforts to make it so- and being forced NOT to. There are too many people at work and too much fighting going on behind the scenes the entire show feels like it’s schizophrenic.

At this point I’d be happy with a show that wasn’t making the actors so mad they were having to bite their tongues or risk their jobs, a plot line that makes sense, no dropped storylines or killing of beloved characters just for the sake of, not mention they stop sexually threatening characters or having misogynistic stories or objectification of a character and just…. Ugh.

I miss S1-5 and the apocalypse. Everybody was on the same page, there weren’t all these storylines built in that went no where. Granted we hadn’t met certain characters like Charlie and Gadreel and Hannah and Naomi yet, and we wouldn’t have bamf!Claire and Dadstiel, but I could do without Metatron and Raphael and Soulless!Sam or Amelia (sam’s) and how so many thing since then have made no sense or are massive plot holes or have no closure!

Be that as it may, Dean and Cas may never get together on the show, especially with great writers quitting because they can’t deal with the power struggle anymore, and we’re left with the bad writers, but it doesn’t mean they were never canon. I just wish Team Free Will would all work TOGETHER again.
