AU meme: Tate is in prison for a crime and Violet is the prison warden’s daughter who comes to visit (requested by anonymous)

Violet was frightening when the man came and banged on their door. She was dragged out her room and down the hall. She came to a private room, and saw her dad sitting, waiting for her. "Violet, hi honey" Ben Harmon said. Violet looked at him with wide eyes. "Dad, why are you here?" Violet stood there, questioning him. He smiled at her, "I'm here to bring you home. Your mom and I realize the mistake we made. You don't belong here Vi." 

She returned and snatched the joint from Tate's hand. "We have a few hours, so let's do it now." She took Tate's hand and led him up to her room. She sat down on her bed, and motioned for Tate to come and join her. "Do you have a lighter?" 

Tate and Violet, were not only brother and sister, but they were best friends. They never had friends in school, so all they had was each other. He never did understand why she had never had any. She was smart, witty, opinionated, and stunningly beautiful. Her honey hues, full lips, and milky skin made Tate’s heart pound a little bit faster each time he saw her. Brothers can think their sisters are attractive, right? Because Tate sure as hell thought Violet was. 

She grabbed a bowl and poured some cereal into it. She sat at the counter eating, and then decided to go read. She grabbed her book that was on the kitchen table and went to sit in the living room and read.
