This one is a day late since I was prepping for my D&D game, ironically enough! I’ll have to catch up tomorrow!

Phew! Cutting it a bit close with this one... there was so much going on I ended up pulling out my greyscale copics to polish it up a bit. Here’s day 2: the Aboleth! Tomorrow, Yuan-ti!

First off, a Slaad! Weird frog lizard beasts with piercings from the plane of Chaos. I’ve never run into one on my D&D adventures so far, and I hope I never will.

This year I'm hoping to improve a little with backgrounds, composition and posing. I'd like to make some more original characters as well, since a lot of what I've been drawing this past year has been other peoples' designs and characters, and I want to broaden my horizons a little!

Katcha, my Kenku Roguelock. Noodled away at this for a few hours during last night's D&D session and touched it up today in CSP. It's nice to get back into doing more inking again - feels like I'm returning to my roots!

An outsider from a dimension of pure thought, Vice traveled to the material realm after watching it for millions of years. Keen to enjoy the pleasures and sorrows of Earth, they formed a physical body and like to spend their time playing with physics and sensation, often by causing a disruption and watching its consequences take place over hundreds or thousands of years. Still unused to having a physical body, Vice will occasionally space out to process a thought, and become dormant for months, years, or even centuries.

I did a redesign of a bugbear and made it more buggy and beary. I wanted to make the goblinoids in the campaign I’m running kind of insectoid to explain their numbers, and because I think insects are pretty cool. My players seem to like them so far!

I'm looking forward to drawing some neat characters!
