Still no luck on the phone. I’ve tried several of the lost and founds, and the hotel has Lace’s number in case it shows up. It’s probably not going to show up. When I get home, I’m going to call support, and have it replaced via insurance. A lot of very awesome people reblogged the post, and for that, I’m thankful and overwhelmed. But it’s time to call off the search and run on the assumption that I’ll be sans-phone for a while.

In truth, it’s not the phone that bugs me; the battery was flaking and it’s kinda crappy. The data may be replaceable. Losing the phone is pretty much my own fault; I should have kept better track of it.

What bugs me the most is that it represents lost time and opportunity. I keep wondering what things I could have done, what friends I could have hooked up with, people I saw briefly and couldn’t hang out with.
