"Why do I care more about you than anyone else in the goddamn world?"
Ah yes. Another fanart for Peach Flavored Kisses..
I love this chapter but I can't draw every scene.
Peach Flavored Kisses by @introverted-monkey-noises on ao3
The only reason this took me so long is because of finals+no motivation+good god the summer heat in Philippines.. Anyways, as usual, im looking forward to the next chaptersâespecially now that these idiots are talking shit out. Small progress, but it's progress, amirite?
(Also, i didn't really check the descriptions, so this is mostly just my own imagination)
pt.6 of the greatest showman x lmk au !! enjoy it while it lasts !! <3
hiii everyone!! thanks for waiting so patiently for the next part haha⌠iâve been in iowa for the last two weeks for a creative writing camp and had the best time!!
at this point i have no idea when iâll run out of ideas for this au. maybe when iâve drawn every single frame. i also need to introduce yâall to the other characters like mei and azure and literally everybody else⌠i have a long way to go!!
ANYWAYS i realized like yesterday that iâd never drawn that scene of wukong and macaque together in that million dreams sequence when theyâre younger kids and just hanging around that old abandoned mansion, thought it was too cute not to draw.
AND YOU CAN NEVER FORGET SPICYNOODLES this stuff has my heart, it is my forever and eternal brainrot. hereâs another comic for them and some closeups so that yâall can take some better looks at them.
also PLEAASSEE stop reposting my art; iâve seen multiple of reposts without permission on tumblr and pinterest and if youâre gonna do it at least add some credit!!
omg hi itâs been a while⌠hereâs some late night brainrot of this lmk underground(?) fighter club au thing that iâve been obsessing over.
basic info: wukongâs a pro fighter who fights for money to make ends meet for his little brother mk (whoâd he go to heaven and hell for), and macaque is a new (but insanely skilled) fighter whoâs picked up most of his talent from the streets. they meet, they fight, shit happens, and then thereâs just mk whoâs only job in the entire au is to pull heartstrings and look adorable.
i really want to try writing a fanfic with this au (i have most of the plot planned out so all iâd have to do is write it) but i think i need to focus on finishing my current au fic first⌠but all said, hereâs a shadowpeach au doodle page that iâve aimlessly been picking at for the past two days!!

more rent-free headcanons of my favorite ship in the sing franchise that live in the corners of my "tiny teenage mind":
ryan and johnny: *actively making out on the couch*
ryan: *falls off the couch with a yelp*
johnny: *bursts out laughing* oh my god, babe, are you okay?
ryan: did it hurt?
johnny: *rolls eyes cutely* let me guess, when I fell from heaven?
ryan: no.
johnny: what?
ryan: *grins evilly* did it hurt when you fell for meâ
johnny: *flushes red and pouts* i hate you.
johnny: *struggling to retrieve something from the kitchen cupboard because he's short*
ryan: do you want me to get it for you?
johnny: *gasps dramatically* HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE VERTICALLY CHALLENGEDâ
ryan: lol okayâ
johnny (ten seconds later): *sighs in defeat* help meee...
- ryan tells horrible puns and johnny groans every time he says one (but johnny will never admit that he secretly thinks they're funny).
- they had been keeping their relationship a secret for a while before ryan accidentally kissed johnny at a massive theater family night-out in front of everybody.
- "well, it's about damn time you two got together!"
- it takes a ton of convincing from ryan to have johnny tell them about their relationship to johnny's dad.
- he's scared that he won't be accepting about the whole "i'm bisexual" thing and "i'm dating a guy" thing.
- "dad, this is ryan, you know him. and ryan... is my boyfriend."
- "... yeah, i know."
- "w-wait, what? what do you mean you know?"
- "i know when i see a bisexual, johnny."
- "wOtâ"
johnny's excuses for getting ryan to hold his hand:
johnny: hey, my hands are cold, can you warm them up for me?
johnny: look, look, see? my hands are bigger than yours, put them togetherâ
johnny: hey, i just learned how to read palms. give me your hand.
johnny: just shut it and hold my hand, okay?
ryan: *yawns*
johnny: yeah, being pretty must be tiring.
ryan: *tilts his head* then you must be exhausted.
johnny: *blushes furiously*
- sometimes johnny will be up late working on a new song or new choreographed dance.
- ryan comes up from behind him with johnny's favorite cup of tea, kisses him on the head, and wishes him a good night.
- johnny borrows ryan's sweater and goes out wearing it only to find ryan's ipods still inside the massive pockets.
- out of curiosity he decides to go through ryan's selection of music when he finds a playlist titled with johnny's name.
- being main performers such a popular, sensational musical is bound to have them be sent hate tweets.
- they never hurt like they're supposed and both johnny and ryan find them funny.
- so sometimes when they're really bored they scroll through hate/mean tweets and laugh about them.
- when they're really, really bored they'll reply.
His Heart On His Sleeve (Johnny & Buster Hurt/Comfort Fic)
... or, buster finds johnny crying at the theater at night and offers him some useful advice along with a friendly reminder.
itâll be my first time showing you guys any of my actual writing, but here it is! (by the way this is not a ship oneshot, nada, nothing like that. just some father/son bonding.)
also, i am currently dying for a good johnny angst prompt at the moment (really, any type of angst is fine) so if you guys have any ideas for one, please let me know?
Before everything, Buster Moon didnât remember having many animals within his life.
He remembered his father â his kind, warm-hearted father â who had died several years after buying Buster the local theater with the money he had saved up, penny by penny through the carwash. That every penny, every car his dad ever washed, had been a step closer, a token for Busterâs dream-come-true.
For years after his fatherâs death, Buster had been hard at work within the show business; with the little money he had, he kept a wide smile plastered on his face and his feet running. Put on the shows he was just certain would be the breakthrough of his career. No matter how battered and bruised he got, he rose back to his feet in seconds. He strived to live up to the theaterâs name. Strived to dream big dreams. Strived to make his dad proud.
And at the end of a long journey, he finally had.
Buster Moon sat at his desk inside his homey little office, the theater so eerily quiet as everyone had retreated home hours ago. The practice rooms and the stage were empty now, but there was a sense of comfort knowing that they would again light up with music tomorrow, and the day after.
Tonight, stars shone as sugar spilt over black marble, glistening in the sun. The night sky was such a welcome sight, appearing like magic at each sunset, promising to return as it faded in dawn's first light. There were times in the daytime, under skies of blue, Buster would think of those faraway stars and how they'd return after the shadows blended into the dark.
They rose up from the dust every night and they shone like the stars they were born to be.
Buster stood on his tiptoes â and when that wasnât high enough, did a little hop â to shut the lights off in his office and with his keys, safely locked the door with the help of a small stool sitting at the side. Humming a happy tune, he gave Ms. Crawlyâs desk a fond look before turning the lights off in that room too.
Buster made his way down the flight of stairs that led to the entire backstage of a theater â a place he wouldnât hesitate to call home, honestly. Sometimes he couldnât really believe that he had managed to come this far; for years he had been labeled as âcrazy, mad, a danger to society, a disgrace to the world of theater productionâ... now he was Buster Moon, named best showman and show producer of all of Calatonia. He couldnât have been more proud of his cast and his new found family, they were everything to him and he couldnât see himself being able to throw any of that away.
He hopped down the final several steps of stairs and checked the time: it was almost past twelve thirty and Buster knew he had to head back inside his living area above the theater soon for a âgood nightâs sleep and another great dayâs work.â And he was just about to do that when his feet were stopped by the sound of an awfully familiar sob. And then there was someone sniffling and choking back their tears, and a weak cough.
Buster followed the sound, looking for the source of the noise â and as soon as he turned the corner towards the backstage rehearsal rooms, the sight he saw just simply broke his heart.
Johnny â kind, caring, talented Johnny â was sitting perched upon one of the wooden steps that led up to one of the rooms, his worn skateboard by his side, while hugging his knees to his chest and his cheek resting on top of it, seeming to try too hard to keep his sobs to a minimum. His shoulders were hunched and shaking, his whole form was trembling entirely. Between seconds heâd break into sobs before he caught himself again and tried to stop, but was having a hard time doing so.
âJohnny?â
The noises were immediately swallowed by an uncomfortable, forced silence. His broad shoulders stopped lurching with every sob but Buster could make out the frames of both his hands, slightly trembling in his wake.
âJohnny, is that you?â
âM-mr. Moon!â Johnny scrambled to his feet, nearly knocking over one of the standing props, and Buster winced as his foot bumped against the metal costume rack on the side. âWhat are you doinâ here?â
âAh, I was just about to shut her down for the night and return to my humble abode.â He gave one of the wooden pillars on the side of the backstage area a firm pat, the tiniest smile of pride on his face. âJohnny, I thought you left hours ago. Itâs past midnight.â
âOh, yeah, uh, I did, but⌠I-I left my skateboard down by the parking lot⌠and I didnât want it to get lost.â Buster watched as Johnnyâs eyes nervously darted away from his own, suddenly seeming very interested in the clock on the wall.
â... well, if you came to get your skateboard at the parking lot, how come youâre inside the theater?â
Johnnyâs mouth opened as if to answer, but all that escaped past his lips was a sharp inhale and nothing else. Eventually he closed it without a word.
â... âs cold outside.â It seemed to be the best answer Johnny could come with at the moment.
âIs there a reason youâre upset?â
âUpset? Why would â why would you think thaâ Iâm upset?â He nearly stumbled on his words and he slightly froze up when Buster fixed his eyes on him with a tentatively raised brow. â... just got sumâ dust in my eye, âs all.â He said, his voice barely a mumble as he gingerly lifted his arm to wipe his eye on the sleeve of his sweatshirt.
Buster carefully made his way up to the much bigger mammal and sat himself on the empty seat beside him on the short flight of wooden steps. He gently patted the area next to him, and Johnny slowly sat back down. The stair slightly creaked underneath his bigger weight.
âSo, why exactly are you upset, hmm?â
âBut âm fine.â
âJohnny.â
The gorilla didnât say anything for a long time, and Buster patiently waited. He wasnât going to do anything else to pressure the poor kid, as he already seemed pressured enough by some sort of weight or burden he couldnât make out. But he knew that whatever it was he had to get it out of Johnny, even if it took him the entire night.
âMr. Moon,â Johnny finally said after what seemed like almost ten minutes, and Buster noticed the tremor in his voice. â... could you keep a secret?â
âOf course â swear it on New Moon Theater.â
Still, Johnny seemed to be hesitant to tell him whatever was troubling him so much â his brows were furrowed into a scrunched-up frown, almost as if thinking was hurting him, his finger tapping nervously against the knee of his worn jeans, lips pursed into a bit of a line. Occasionally heâd open his mouth slightly to chew down on his bottom lip, his canine poking against his skin.
Buster gently cleared his throat. âItâll all be easier if you talk to me.â
âI know, I know that, butâŚâ Johnny then groaned and put his hands over his face â it wasnât long until Buster heard a quiet, restrained sniff from him and a silent mutter of âsorryâ. And Buster gave him all the time he needed, sitting next to the gorilla who was much bigger than him in comparison but seemed so small at the moment, seen at his most vulnerable state.
â... before the concert and everything, well⌠something happened between me and mâdad.â
Johnny didnât continue for a while and Buster patiently waited until he was ready to talk.
â⌠see, well, my dad â h-heâs not like most dads, heâsâŚâ And then Johnny mumbled something barely under his breath, too quiet to hear even under the complete silence of the theater.
âWhatâs that, Johnny?â
â⌠a gang leader.â And then Johnny hung his head, looking as if he were about to cry, like a scolded child who had done the most terrible thing.
Buster thought back to the day of the theater flood disaster (a day he didnât really want to recall but his mind made him anyway) and he thought of the front headlines of the newspaper Johnny had been holding, sitting on that very flight of stairs they were on right nowâhe had pretended not to notice back then, but the thing was⌠he had.
âGANG LEADER ARRESTED.â Big, bold letters printed across the very front page, right above a picture of a rather huge gorillaâs mugshot which took up about more than half the page. Of course, back then, Buster hadnât given it much thought â but maybe he should have.
âSoâŚ?â
Johnny turned to him, the look instantly vanishing from his face to be replaced by one with complete confusion and what seemed to almost be frustration. â... so? Shouldnât you be scared of me?â
Buster let out a quiet chuckle. âJohnny, give me one good reason why I should be scared of you.â
âWell, I did just admit to being the son of a mob leader, didnât I?â
âAnd is that supposed to be the good reason?â In response, Johnny dropped his gaze to the ground almost shamefully and simply shrugged. âJohnny, if you believe that what you said is going to change my mind about what a brilliant kid you are, you might want to rethink that.â
â... really? And youâre not just sayinâ that to make me feel better?â Johnny asked carefully, moving his eyes off the wooden floorboards briefly towards Buster.
âI promise.â
For a moment, Buster could see the flash of a smile on Johnnyâs face but it vanished as quickly as it had appeared.
â... but I can tell that thatâs not really the thing thatâs troubling you here.â
âWell, itâs justâŚâ Johnny lifted his hand and rubbed the back of his neck, something Buster had noticed as a habit of his from quite a while ago. â... after my dad was, um, arrested ââ He glanced at Buster and only slightly relaxed after Buster gave him a little nod. ââ Iâve been tryinâ to work to get the bail money for him and my uncles. They told me itâs 50,000 dollars per person, a-and ââ
âWoah woah woah, hold up.â Buster interrupted. â50,000 dollars per person? So ââ
â150,000 dollars in total, yeah. At least, thaâs what they told me.â Johnnyâs foot shifted uncomfortably against the wooden floor. âI-itâs quite much, I know.â
âItâs too much.â Buster found his finger tapping nervously against his own knee. âAnd⌠how are you going to get all of that money?â
âI was initially planninâ to use the 100,000 dollars for the singing contest if I could, but ââ Johnny froze and stopped midsentence, noticing late what words had left his mouth. â... Mr. Moon, Iâm sorry, I really didnât mean to ââ
âHey, donât â itâs okay. That⌠thatâs a huge mistake on my side. Not one of my proudest moments, but⌠itâs what brought me here, isnât it? I try to think of it that way.â Buster merely gave him a smile. âAnyways, go on.â
Johnny didnât seem too sure of himself but continued anyways, seeming to grow more nervous by the second. â... I opened up my dadâs car repair business again, itâs bringinâ me an occasional few hundred bucks every week, but Iâm tryna pay for all the expenses and the food, and the water and electricity bill and it really isnât leavinâ me with anythinâ⌠so I figured that I would be able to earn a little more with a part-time job.â
âJohnny, you balance your dadâs car repair business and a part-time job with theater practice?â
Johnny bit back down on his lip. âActually, itâs two jobs⌠one didnât really make the cut.â
âTwo part-time jobs â where?â
â... one at a bar as a waiter and the other as a cashier at the supermarket.â
âJohnny, IâŚâ Buster was at a loss for words. One major job as a cast in the theater was enough. Maintaining a business along with that was tiresome. Another part-time job to that was gruesome. But another? Buster couldnât possibly see Johnny getting any time to sleep or eat at all â was he even doing that? â... Johnny, this is way too much for you. You canât balance three jobs and a garage business altogether â thatâs just impossible.â
âI-Iâm sorry, Mr. Moon, I really shouldnât have told you all this.â Once again Johnny was reduced into what seemed like a reprimanded child, suddenly looking down to avert Busterâs eyes altogether.
âNo, Johnny, itâs just⌠how do your shifts go?â
â... I work as a cashier from seven to eleven thirty after I leave the theater.â Johnny quietly admitted. âAnd then I head over to the bar and work the night shift from twelve⌠until five.â
âDo you even get any time to sleep?â
Johnny drummed his fingers nervously against his lap for a while without answering before eventually he opened his mouth. âI mean, yeah⌠about two to three hours. B-but I have coffee and energy drinks every morninâ.â
Buster always greeted every one of his cast with the widest smile and sometimes the occasional hugs. Johnny had been no exception â but now that Buster took a better, more careful look at the young gorilla, he looked terrible; the skin of his face looked a tad bit clammier, lips chapped, and the dark circles underneath his eyes were quite clearly noticeable. It made Buster think if he had possibly been the last one to notice when he should have been the first â and he felt absolutely awful.
âJohnny, this⌠all this⌠you shouldnât have to be doing all of it. Itâs too much for you.â
âBut, Mr. Moon⌠heâs my dad.â
âAnd youâre just a kid. You donât need to work so hard to be earning any sort of bail money. Thatâs not something a kid should be doing.â
âButâŚâ
âYou shouldnât have to be working more than one job to try and pay your bills and to free your dad and your uncles from jail â you should be going to school, getting good grades, making friends, going out with them with that skateboard of yours, going to parties and having fun and whatever kids do these days! This⌠this just doesnât make any sense to me.â
âMr. MoonâŚâ Johnny swallowed, lifting his head to look ahead of him without much of a focus. âHe might be a criminal and I know he is servinâ his sentence there in jail⌠but itâs too long. Itâs gunna be years of me without him, and⌠a-and for almost forever, heâs really all Iâve had. I love âim, and⌠I donât want him to spend the rest of his life in a cell. It scares me so, so much â thinking Iâll have to be⌠alone. Without my dad.â He again rubbed the back of his neck, but the touch seemed almost like an act of a cocked gun â ready to spring at a given chance. â... I just want to give âim a chance. I want him out, Mr. Moon. ButâŚâ
Johnny lifted his hand to move it over his mouth, as if trying to choke back on his own words. Buster then realized that there were tears gathering in Johnnyâs eyes and they finally gave in, sliding down his cheek and eventually across his already-damp fur.
âItâs just so hard.â
His voice just broke right then and there, cracking with pressure â and it just tore Buster apart. âI feel like⌠like everythingâs being ripped apart, and it hurts so bad that i-itâs like, like somethinâs tryna choke me.â He rambled on. âIâm tryinâ, I swear, to try and make it alright, b-but sometimes I feel like something squeezing me and I just canât breathe, a-and my hands donât stop shaking, I try to stop but my heart just feels like itâs going to explode, and sometimes I get so scared because it just feels like Iâm dying ââ Johnny glanced sideways towards Buster, a look of a scolded child etched across his face and a glint of panic flashing across his features. â⌠Iâm sorry. Iâm just⌠Iâm just really scared.â He released a very shaky breath, eyes downcast.
âJohnny, what is there to be scared of?â
The gorilla hesitated answering before opening his mouth to reply. â... of beinâ alone. Without family.â He sniffled again and wiped the corner of his eye. âSorry.â
â... Johnny, we donât apologize for being afraid.â Buster said quietly. âBeing afraid isnât something to be ashamed of â itâs what makes us strong enough to fight against what we face.â
He lifted his eyes from the floor. âWh-whaâ do you mean by that?â
Buster stayed quiet for a little while. â... after my father passed away, I didnât know what to do. Growing up, he was the only one who really believed in me.â He shrugged and gave Johnny a tiny smile â Johnny didnât quite return it. âHe was all I ever really had.â
Buster took out his old wallet from his back pocket (he ought to buy another one pretty soon) and carefully opened the folds of leather, slipping out an old photograph. Johnny finally removed his eyes from simply watching space as the photo caught his attention.
In the photo was a young koala being held by an older one, both of them wearing huge smiles on their faces. They both looked carefree. Happy.
âThis was my father.â Buster said quietly, keeping the smile as he handed Johnny the photo, knowing heâd handle it with care â without a word, Johnny took the small photo from him and gingerly held it between both his thumbs and index fingers with both hands. âHe was caring, and oh, so warm-hearted, made the worst jokes⌠but most of all, he was hardworking. Very diligent. Set his mind on something, there was no turning back. He wouldnât stop until he had accomplished what he had decided to do. And for him, it was earning enough money for me to be able to call this place Moon Theater. A theater of my own.â
Johnny spoke for the first time in a while. âHe sounds like a wonderful person.â
âHe was, he really was.â Buster watched as Johnny gently moved his thumb over the grayish worn image of his own father. âAfter he was gone, leaving me this theater⌠everything seemed so lost. I had had tons of plans on what I was going to do, what type of shows I was going to produce, what Iâd do for the theater and how Iâd improve on it for more and more shows⌠I had all planned it for him. With my father gone, it just all seemed fruitless⌠if that makes sense.â He let out a weak chuckle, and Johnny shifted uncomfortably at Busterâs side, holding the small photo loosely between his fingers on his lap.
âI mourned for a while, couldnât really get back up on my feet. Believe me, I was a complete mess. The feeling of loss, it was just too much. The notion of having to go on without him, all on my own, it just really⌠really got to me, yâknow? It scared me. He had been my guide my entire life, knew what the right decisions were â I didnât know if I would be able to follow his footsteps and do the same. I was just⌠Buster Moon at the time. I wasnât anything else.â
âBut you are more than that, Mr. Moon.â Johnny said softly, the volume of his voice slightly raised than before. âYouâre⌠youâre passionate, youâre enthusiastic, and you always see the best in us. Saw the best in all of us, didnât you? I thinkâŚâ He cleared his throat. â... I think youâre a millenia more beyond just your name.â
Buster couldnât help but crack a smile at Johnnyâs sincerity â he could see it through the kidâs eyes. âThank you, Johnny. Means a lot hearing it from you, you know?â
Johnny offered Buster a tiny smile â small, but nonetheless a smile. It soon faltered, however, as a look of deep thought overcame his face, the canines biting into his lip again. âSo⌠how did you overcome it?â
âNot gonna lie, Johnny⌠it was hard keeping my head on straight and trying to maintain the theater business, let it live up to its name. It was my pride, it was my fatherâs pride. Every day there would be instances where I had to avert what I didnât want to face â things that I didnât have the confidence to face on my own. Well, untilâŚâ Buster gave Johnny a little nudge against his arm, although it was nothing merely more than a small poke. â... until I had the greatest luck of being able to find the greatest, most talented cast members I could ever ask for.â
Johnny chuckled. âReally?â
âYes, really â never thought I knew it, but⌠I guess all I needed was a new family to help me get by.â Buster hummed throughtfully. âIt started with my father, of course. But after you guys came along? Iâve been the happiest koala in the history of koalas.â
Johnny smiled. âA found family.â
Buster nodded in return, placing his much, much smaller paw onto Johnnyâs hand. âA found family. A found family that will support you no matter what, with anything you need. Thatâs what helps to overcome fear, Johnny. Because with people like us by your side? I can promise this â youâll never be alone. Never in a million years. Because sometimes,â Buster nodded towards the photo, still in between Johnnyâs fingers. âthings that you think scare you, can become your motivation to find what youâve lost. Itâs always somewhere out there â youâre just not looking in the right places.â
The gorilla flicked his gaze downward towards the small photograph he had still been holding â he carefully handed it back to Buster. âI guess I havenât really thought of lookinâ.â
âWell, now you know where to start looking, donât you? Itâs like I always say â Moon Theater is the solution to every problem.â
âYou never say that.â
âEh, itâs worth a try.â Buster shrugged as he got to his feet, tucking his wallet back into his pocket and lightly dusting his suit before turning to the gorilla. âJohnny, I mean it when I say this â your health and well-being comes first. Two part-time jobs is just way too much, one seems more than enough.â
âBut then what about the bail money ââ
âBail money comes after your health and well-being, of course. Johnny⌠you donât have to do this all on your own, alright? Remember you have a family to look towards.â
Johnny shrugged and rubbed his arm with his other hand. âWell, I dunnoâŚâ
âIâm sure everyone would love to help you if you just get yourself to open up to them.â
âYou mean⌠tell them about my dad?â Johnny slightly winced and it didnât go unnoticed.
âYes, what else would it be?â
âBut Mr. Moon, I-I donât think itâs a good idea, I mean â Ash is still dealing with that ex-boyfriend of hers, Rosita is already busy with twenty-five kids, and Iâm really sure Meena wouldnât really like to know that I have a personal blood connection with a crimi ââ
âJohnny, what you told me today hasnât changed my view on you a tiny bit â there is not a bad bone in you whatsoever that tells me youâre anything close to a criminal⌠or any gang member, for that matter. Youâre gentle, kind, caring and talented and soulful⌠kid, I could go on forever and ever. And knowing our cast,â Buster gave Johnnyâs arm a gentle pat. âIâm sure they wonât think any differently.â
â... thank you, Mr. Moon. Really, I appreciate it. I⌠I really needed to hear all of this today.â Buster watched as Johnnyâs tense shoulders finally seemed to relax, the look of relief spreading across his features. âFeels good to, yâknow⌠be able to talk to someone.â
âAnytime, Johnny â now, promise me youâll try to give yourself more time for yourself?â
âYeah, promise.â
âWell, itâs getting late â do you maybe want a cup of hot chocolate before you go?â
The way Johnnyâs eyes lit up like a child on Christmas day at the mere mention of hot chocolate sent Buster into chuckles.
âReally, hot chocolate?â
âI bought an entire stash of it after I saw you kids last week emptying three thermos of it each in the rehearsal rooms.â
â... if itâs not much trouble, Mr. Moon ââ
Buster laughed and set off to find Johnny a clean mug and the hot chocolate mix he had stowed away somewhere in his cupboard.
Okay, big daddy headcanons but before and after the events of sing? Idk if you still do this
always up for headcanons, wdym? :D here you go!
big daddy headcanons (+ johnny)
BEFORE SING 1:
- he used to be a really, really loving guy.
- everyday after returning home to his family from work, he'd go straight up to his wife and give her a kiss and then give his son a hearty tousle of his hair.
- he was busy taking care of the family financially but he was happy with what he had.
- he tried to spend as much time with johnny as possible, reading him storybooks and giving him piggyback rides all the time.
- he used to videotape everything going on in his family from small moments where johnny and his wife would sing and play the piano together, or little trips to the beach.
- after the death of his wife he had a period where he had started distancing himself from johnny.
- he began drinking a lot more too, and johnny had to deal with his mum's death alone for a couple of years.
- it was a really hard time for both of them, but the thing that marcus (big daddy) felt worse about was not being able to be a good father for his only son.
- whenever he looked at johnny he only saw his dead wife (johnny had her eyes and carried her softer accent).
- it hurt to face johnny and offer him the comfort his son needed, so he shut him out.
- the car garage business wasn't doing too well for him and johnny, so one small robbery he had planned with a couple of other gorillas from around the neighborhood turned into full-on heists.
- but marcus made sure that johnny stayed in school and occasionally checked on his homework from time to time when johnny was asleep.
- johnny got good grades most of the time so marcus didn't worry much.
- marcus did really want the best for johnny, he really did.
- but as johnny grew with the passing years, marcus could only see more and more of his wife from him.
- every day he turned out more to be like her, and the pain of losing his wife started to flood back.
- the thought of johnny becoming like his mum automatically brought him to the irrational idea of losing him too.
- this terrified him, utterly terrified him... so from that day forth, marcus decided to force johnny into the family heist business.
- he wanted johnny to be more like him: bigger, stronger, less vulnerable, less emotional, more able to mask pain, be able to defend himself against anything that might hurt him.
- most of all, he didn't want to see his wife in johnny. so for years, marcus tried to change johnny.
- but johnny didn't change, not at allâand including him in the heists (which he honestly thought would bring johnny closer to him) made johnny start to stray away from marcus more.
- the back of his mind kept telling him that this was all wrong, so he continuously put johnny on look outs instead of actually taking part.
- but he shared his plans to johnny with the most enthusiasm, maybe thinking that if he got johnny to feel the actual thrill of a heist, he would slip out of his softer "demeanor".
- of course, there was no change within johnny's personalityâhe still was much softer than the sons of other gangs, way too careful, and he still seemed too emotionally vulnerable.
DURING SING 1:
- when johnny started leaving the garage more often, sometimes for the whole day (because he was off at rehearsals all the time), marcus made the ultimate decision to try and make johnny the getaway driver.
- he tried to make it a big deal, like it was a gift for johnny, so that in that way marcus would finally be able to grow closer to him.
- marcus had at least wanted a genuine smile on johnny's face.
- "w-wait, y-youâyou want me to drive? ... can't wait."
- it hadn't been quite the reaction marcus had been expectingâbut then again, there had been something at the back of his mind telling him that he wouldn't have exactly liked being part of an actual heist.
- on the day he noticed johnny had gone and left along with the truck from the place he had left him after the botched heist, marcus had never felt more angry in his life.
- it wasn't just the disappointment he feltâit was the hurt.
- hearing from johnny during first visit in prison that he didn't want to be part of the gang, that he wanted to be a singer, it was a big stab in the heart for him.
- it wasn't because johnny didn't want to be in the gangâit was that irrational thought again reminding him that johnny was, exactly, the replica of his mum.
- marcus had tried all those years to try and make sure johnny was more like him, not like his dead wifeâit scared him, and the mere thought of losing johnny the same way he lost his wife was overwhelming.
- that night, marcus said the words he regretted saying right afterwards.
- "how did i end up with a son like you, eh? you're nothin' like me. you never were, and you never will be."
- he walks away from johnny, painfully ignoring the desperate shouts and poundings on glass from his own son, unable to turn around and face him as the shame washes over.
- being the stubborn gorilla he had always been, marcus doesn't have the heart, after basically disowning his only son, to go out during visiting hours.
- he feels stupid and he feels like a coward and most of all, he knows he's the worst father in the world and deserves all of this.
- what marcus knows is that johnny doesn't deserve any of what sort of shit he's giving him, but he doesn't have any clue on how to make amends.
- when he sees johnny one night on the screen of the TV, singing beautifully and playing the piano, his heart swells with joy.
- he knows he's supposed to be reminded of his wife and knows that watching johnny perform like this, is logically, supposed to make him feel upset.
- but marcus doesn't feel upset at allâall he feels is the pride swelling in his heart.
- "johnny... he's johnny, that's my son!"
- his son, that he had refused to talk to for weeks, had said terrible things to, and whom probably thinks that his own dad is too disappointed to even acknowledge him.
- his son that he had tried to force into paths that johnny hadn't wanted, all just to keep himself from feeling any more hurt. he had been selfish and he needed to make this right.
- he needed johnny to know that he was sorryâand even if he didn't say it, marcus just needed johnny to know that he was proud: proud of who johnny had grown up to become despite having such a terrible father.
- when he breaks out of prison to give his son the first actual hug he had given him in years, he's the happiest he had ever felt.
- the thrills of all those heists he pulled seems like absolutely nothing nowâwhen johnny returns the hug, he savors the moment. he knows it won't be long.
AFTER SING 1:
- realizing that marcus wants to be with johnny as soon as possible, he returns to prison right after seeing johnny.
- he doesn't want his actions to cost him additional years in jail.
- eventually seen as a special case (and mostly because the story melted the cops' hearts), he isn't given an extension but is put on careful watch instead.
- johnny tells marcus, on his first ever visit to him after the show, that he's now an official cast member of new moon theatre, which is currently being built.
- marcus is happy for johnny, but then his smile falters when johnny excitedly starts talking about the plans for the bail money he's going to earn.
- he mentions part-time jobs and opening the garage business again and johnny overworking himself for his own mistake and his sake is the last thing marcus wants.
- marcus tells johnny exactly that, but johnny (who is stubborn like the family bloodline) insists that it's fine. reluctantly, marcus agrees but the guilt feeding away at him makes him feel rather terrible.
- but once the money starts rolling in from the new performances done at the theatre, the bail money might actually work out.
- of course it's going to be a long way, but johnny is really excited and is already saving up the money to help his dad and uncles out of jail.
- mostly marcus tries to stray away from that subject and tries to get johnny to talk about his friends, life as a theatre performer, storylines behind his new shows and even maybe his love life (nothing much interesting on that quite yet).
- whenever johnny has to leave after visiting hours, marcus doesn't forget to tell johnny that he loves him, and he starts to refer to johnny as "son" more often.
- johnny always smiles and says "i love you too, dad" back, and it makes marcus' heart swell with the same pride he's felt that day.
- it sometimes occurs to him that he's stuck in jail during the prime of johnny's life while he's out performing on stage in front of crowds of people.
- marcus is missing out on one of the most important years of johnny's life and he can't help but feel ashamed when he's supposed to be out there by his side, supporting him the best he can.
- but johnny always comes during visiting hours with the biggest smile and he can just see the genuine joy radiating off of him as he talks about his week, and marcus knows that he can count on his friends and theatre family to look after his son.
- after long years, johnny is finally able to earn the bail moneyâhe releases his dad and his uncles from prison.
- the very day johnny is finally able to hug his dad for the first time in years is just tearjerking.
- johnny just straight up runs into his dad's arms for an embrace and marcus gives it to himâhe notices that johnny's has grown a little bit more taller and that he's bought himself a new leather jacket and shoes.
- after he's bailed out of jail (still under probation somewhat), marcus decides that he wants to do some actual good things for once and while johnny is busy with performing at the theatre, signs up for community food service along with his gang members.
- he's proud of what he did, feeling that he might be able to make some amends to what he's done in the past.
- every day he watches his son grow to be someone that he at first tried to force him away from beingâbut marcus, eventually, he happy that he didn't because johnny has grown so much and it's just great seeing him so happy.

âhave you ever seen anything more beautiful?â // â⌠i see it everyday.â
just a little something for those rynny people out there: love under a sky full of stars.
âSo⌠what a sky full of stars, huh?â Ryan chuckled.
âWell, yââ Johnny blinked before turning towards Ryan and letting out a small laugh. ââheh, see what you did there. But yeah. I mean, have you ever seen anything more beautiful?â
Ryan glanced towards Johnny, watching his eyes almost dance with sparkles as he stared in complete awe up at the star-filled sky, like sugar split over black marble. The constellations, whoâd witnessed centuries and millenia just the same, watching over this tiny moment. Watching over him.
ngl i would offer up my firstborn to have some rynny/tigerilla (ryan x johnny) hcs written by you (only half-jk, but i seriously love your content, keep it up!!)
holy shit i got like a ton of headcanons for this but here are some of themâso, about that firstborn⌠đ
ryan x johnny (rynny) headcanons đ
- (we probably all know this) ryan is taller than johnny. not by too much but just enough that they can tease each other about it.
- âhey, howâs the weather up/down there?â
- ryan steals johnnyâs hoodies and sweatshirts because he likes wearing them from time to time.
johnny: hey, ryanâdo you know where all my hoodies went? about six of them have all gone missing in the past week.
ryan: uhhhhhâ *remembers the stack of hoodies in his closet* ⌠i, have no idea.
- thereâs no real designated âbig/little spoonâ in their relationship. they usually take turns depending on who needs the comfort.
- johnny is still pretty new to cuddles and hugs and other affectionate gestures.
- ryan helps him through that and is the one who gives him the most cuddles and hugs and little kisses here and there.
- johnny is pretty shy to openly show their relationship in public (not that heâs ashamed, heâs shy about showing that heâs in a relationship itself).
- but ryan insists that itâs alright and is the one to give him cheek kisses from time to time and the first to hold hands (sometimes a peck on the lips).
- of course he checks upon johnny first to see if heâs okay with it.
- when johnny offers a shy smile and a nod of approval that just makes ryan incredibly happy.
- johnny just loves kids. ryan likes them but not as much as johnny does.
- sometimes some kids notice johnny and ryan from âout of this worldâ and crowd around them, asking for a hug or a picture.
- ryan gets confused and flustered while johnny laughs and even picks some of them up to put them onto his shoulder for a picture.
- ryan loves to notice little adorable details about johnny.
- for example, the fact that johnnyâs tongue sticks out of the corner of his mouth when heâs really focusing on something such as writing a new song.
- ryan is scared of thunderstorms.
- whenever thereâs a thunderstorm during the night, johnny cuddles ryan in bed and gives him soothing kisses on his ear.
- ryan is surprisingly clumsy at ice skating.
- johnny is amazing at it, so he once took ryan out to the ice rink to teach him as their âfirst dateâ after a performance one day.
- the âdateâ was never really planned out, it was just an impromptu agreement to hang out with each other.
- yes, they both consider it a date.
- it was actually where they had their first little kiss in the middle of the empty ice rink.
- surprisingly, johnny kisses ryan first.
- johnny leans in and puts his lips against his, having to stand on a bit of a tiptoe. ryan is surprised, initially, and slightly pulls back.
- johnny, thinking that he didnât like him back, panics and starts apologizing.
- âoh my god, ryan, i-iâm so sorryâi-i donât know what came over me, dammit, iâm such a wreckââ
- ryan just grabs johnny and kisses him for a good 4 seconds before pulling back with a smile. johnny is flustered at first but eventually smiles back, and you can see the relief in his eyes.
- once they got more public and open about their relationship, johnny grew less nervous and shy about it.
- then johnny first suggested excitedly that they get matching couple ringsânow they both wear a gold ring on their index finger, ryan on his left, johnny on his right.
- so when they hold hands both hands have the rings on it.
- itâs only been half a year since they had been dating, but they sometimes find themselves thinking about what their wedding would be like.
- âwedding dress?â âwedding dress.â
- they both like to have their reading timeâusually itâs johnny lying down on ryanâs lap while ryan reads his own book, snuggled in a mess of blankets and cushions.
- whenever johnny sees ryan is feeling down, he makes them two cups of coffee (sugar for ryan) and goes over to him with a tiny smile.
- vice versa, itâs english breakfast tea for johnny from ryan when johnny is feeling upset.
- ryanâs biggest pet peeve is when johnny overworks himself over his performances that he forgets to eat.
- ryan has to physically drag him out of the building to get him to stop practicing and eat something.
- johnny lets out a little groan and rolls his eyes a bit whenever ryan does it, but honestly ryan just finds it more adorable than intimidating.
- sometimes after an exhausting day of performing all day, ryan and johnny just go back to their shared small condo and cuddle up with a horror movie.
- popcorn for these two is a must.
- johnny usually just stares at the movie without much emotion on his face (you canât really tell how heâs feeling) while ryan yelps or shouts at every jumpscare.
movie: *jumpscare*
ryan: hOLY SHIâ *falls off the couch*
johnny: hMmmmâŚ
- ryan continuously (and at random times) turns to johnny to tell him how cute he is.
- johnny flushes and he gets red and swats at his arm in embarrassment. ryan finds it hilarious and adorable.
ryan: youâre adorable, you know?
johnny: *pout* shut up.
- johnny still get nervous with affectionate touches (ryan isnât too confident with them either).
- so they both slowly take their time making sure they both feel comfortable with it all.
- johnnyâs never dated anyone besides ryan before, so sometimes he becomes a complete nervous wreck when they start getting intimate.
- they both decide to cuddle to calm down and get a chance to breathe, promising each other to take it slow.
- they both like stargazing on the roof at night so they do that together when they need some air.
ryan: *chuckles* what a sky full of stars, huh?
johnny: *stares up at the sky* yeah, itâs amazing. i mean, have you ever seen anything more beautiful?
ryan: *glances at johnny, whoâs too entranced to notice, and smiles* i see it everyday.
(holy shit i gotta draw something for the last one, hold up.)
nooshy wants him drunk quicker so that she can take pictures and record videos of his drunk shenanigans. she uses them for bribery or to make fun of him after he's sober. đ

moon theatre family hurt/comfort headcanons (teens edition)
might get a little angsty here, had these bottled up in my head for a while (canât think of anything for nooshy, but i will think about it!).
johnny:Â
- johnny hates crying in front of others, hates it more than anything. despises it and will bite down on his tongue or dig his nails into his hand to hold it in (sometimes itâs enough to draw blood).
- he appreciates the comfort his friends try to offer him at that very moment, but he hates looking so vulnerable when heâs supposed to be the strong one looking out for his best friends.
- whenever he feels like he canât take it he quietly excuses himself to the bathroom.
- he completely lets himself go when heâs locked himself inside and his shoulders just lurch as he sobs over the sink.
- of course the rest can hear him and they all silently agree on the fact that he needs comfort.
- but they all know trying to bombard him at once at the beginning will just overwhelm him and make him say âheâs fineâ.
- obviously, none of them are going to take that as an answer.
- so one of them (usually itâs ash or nooshy) visits his room with a cup of english breakfast tea (+ honey) once heâs calmed down.
- they usually find him practicing a piano piece he has to play for their show, continuously messing up on notes.
- johnny would try to greet whoever it is with a cheerful voiceâsometimes they can notice that heâs still upset, sometimes they just canât tell because heâs so good at hiding it.
- he gives many attempts to try and change the subject when they try to get it out of him, but eventually they manage to verbally back him into a corner.
- johnny doesnât say anything for a while and slightly starts to pace, then gives in and blurts out how heâs trying, heâs trying so hard to be perfect, to be the most he can, trying so, so hard to be strong, because he needs to be the strong one for the rest of them.
- but itâs just really difficult, and sometimes he can just feel the pressure getting to him and heâs just so tired and it makes it hard for him to breathe sometimes.
- but the thought of becoming a burden just stresses him out way too much, so even though he wants to talk to an adult or a friend about it his mind and body just wonât let him do so, and it just feels like itâs building up inside his chestâsuffocating him.
- his hands start to shake a bit and he starts to talk faster, rambling on and on as he picks up pace like he does when he grows anxious or nervous.
-Â âi-i feel like i should be able to do it, yâknow? b-but then i try to do it, and thereâs just so many other things that stay on my mind and itâs... itâs like itâs messinâ with my head. am i really not enough? i never know what iâm supposed to do to fix it all, and i just feel so... so useless.â
- johnny then stops and quietly admits that sometimes he just feels pathetic and weak, and thatâs when they give him a nice, warm hug, although it does take him a while to actually sink into it.
- âjohnny, âpatheticâ and âweakâ would be the last words anyone would use to describe you. itâs okay to tell us youâre feeling stressed out sometimes, all we want to do is help you. please donât try to hide anything like that from us, itâs important we know youâre having a hard time. youâre never a burden... youâre our hope, o-our family... youâre our best friend. we love you.â
- eventually the others would join in and it just all ends in one huge cuddle/hug sesh until porsha cheerfully offers that they all watch his favorite movie to cheer him up.
- they all eventually end up tangled up in a mess of blankets and cushions on the couch asleep altogether, halfway through the movie.
ash:
- she hasnât been able to get rid of her âstupidâ trust issues after her boyfriend of five years, lance, ditched her for some random bitch named becky.
- ever since she never really let herself get too close to anyone else beside her new stage crew family.
- ash has always been scared of stepping out of her comfort zone, especially when it means getting deeply involved with other animals.
- but for some reason she holds onto the old electric guitar lance had gotten for her for their second-year anniversary, although she has more than enough money to buy a better and newer one.
- and oh god, she feels pathetic like a stupid teenager hanging onto her stupid ex and she canât help but feel like sheâs being a complete idiot over it.
- so ash has, more than five times, tried to throw her guitar away, case and all, reassuring herself that she can just buy a better oneâone that wasnât given to her by some low-life cheating bastard.
- but whenever she tries her hands start shaking as she grips onto the case, and her teeth clenches and she just canât let go of it and it drives her insane.
- she finds herself thinking if she was that bad enough of a girlfriend for lance to go find becky, and she gets angry and she has to clench her teeth not to start bawling.
- she returns back to their condo and tosses the guitar case aside into the living room, disappearing into her own without a word, letting everyone there realize almost immediately what she was going through.Â
- they know that she needs time for herself for at least thirty minutes before one of them talk to her so during that time, meena goes out to the nearest cafĂŠ and buys a piece of chocolate cake with bubble tea or hot chocolate.
- after those thirty minutes, one of them (preferably johnny) goes inside with her guitar and finds ash walking busily around the room aggressively cleaning everything up, loudly blasting music from her phone.
- it takes her a while and some soothing words to get her to calm down and bring her down from her âworked-upâ state, and when she does she sits down on her bed, staring down at the red guitar case covered top-to-bottom with stickers.
- âi feel so stupid.â she says, fists clenched on her lap. âhe was such an idiot, and i know he doesnât deserve what i offer him... but why am i holding onto this? what am i doing wrong? i thought i moved on, and i know i have, but... something must be, just, really wrong with me. maybe... maybe iâm just not strong enough to erase him from my mind.â
-Â âyouâre not, stupid, ash, donât say that. and there is nothing wrong with you, i promise. sometimes... we just have a hard time thinking what we want and we wonder whatâs right. no, you canât forget himâthe more you try to forget him, the more your mind will take you towards him. the best you can doâthe best we can doâis create another chapter of your life. a fresh one, see? things were bad back then... but now, you have us, donât you? we can write a fresh new page together, create better memories over the worse ones.â
- âyouâre one of the strongest animals i know, ash. believe me. itâs going to be a tough journey, but youâre not alone.â
- then ash leans into them and they wrap her into a side-hug. they find ash wearily eyeing the guitar case again.
-Â âkeep the guitarâit doesnât have to mean that itâs something you canât let go of. itâs just part of who you are, and the music you make from that guitar is what shapes you. think it that way, alright?â
- then they carefully hand ash her drink and her slice of chocolate cake.
-Â âugh, you guys know me so well.â
porsha:
- porsha doesnât really go visit her dad in jail, she tries to avoid doing it if she can.
- heâs never really been the best dad in the world, and he had done so many wrongs... but then again, heâs her dad. he used to be all she had.
- so from time to time, porsha does try to go talk to her dad to check on himâthe last thing she would want was for him to fall ill or into some sort of state of depression.
- but he never comes talk to her, refuses to talk to her, but she decides to hold on and sits there for about an hour, hope dwindling every passing minute.
- eventually she comes back to their condo, not really hiding the fact that sheâs crying or having a breakdown, her make-up completely smudged across her fur.
- before anyone can get up and ask her whatâs wrong, she locks herself in the bathroom and doesnât come out for sometimes hours.
- they knock on the door gently and ask her if sheâs okay, but all she can manage at that point is just brokenly tell them to leave her alone because she canât use her voice at the moment.
- she does unlock the door at some point but leaves it closedâwhenever she cried as a kit sheâd usually wait for her dad to come and maybe give her a hug, but it never really happened.
- sheâs not used to asking for anyoneâs comfort or consolation and is honestly embarrassed to show how sorry and pitiful she looks, so different from her âhappyâ facade.Â
- but porsha knows she could use some comfort and stays in the same spot waiting for itâusually her friends all hear the door unlock and itâs not long until someone comes in to check on her.
- âi-i think my daddy hates me.â she chokes out, and she slightly bites down on her fist. âi know heâs bad, alright? i know heâs not a good person... but heâs my daddy. h-heâs supposed to love me, right? then why wonât he talk to me?â
- âlisten.â they say as they take her hand, helping her to her feet. âyour dad, well, he... he did bad things, i know. and heâs always had his priorities in the wrong place. his reputation came first before anything, and i canât imagine what it would have been like growing underneath such a shadow.â
- âbut just because he did have priorities in the wrong place, doesnât mean he doesnât love you. he does love you, iâm sure of it... heâs just blind of who you are, heâs not considerate enough to appreciate you, because youâre such a wonderful, amazing person to be with. he just canât see that.â
-Â âi know everything hurts because you feel like he doesnât want anything to do with you. but he might, and i really really hope he does, that heâll be able to get to see whatâs important. until then, you have usâwe appreciate you, and weâre all happy to be able to call you our best friend. weâll get through this together, alright?â
- porsha feels better at these little pep talks and asks what she ever did to deserve such âawesome bffsâ, they have a little laugh about it, have a group hug, before they decide to give time for porsha to clean up or redo her make-up so that they can go have ice cream at the city square.
( + might add one for nooshy if i can think of something!)
