I never imagined that following the release of The Odyssey would be such a nightmare — especially given that Nolan is a renowned director — but apparently, we just can't catch a break. First, the issue was that the film wasn't "historically" accurate; then it was the casting choices; then the certainty that the movie would flop; then the problem became Tom's acting; and now people are claiming the ticket sales are fake just to inflate the numbers... Honestly, it’s getting hard to go on social media and see some new piece of crap every hour.

Yesterday I commented on his insta that "you and your entire publication are so corny" on a post where he was talking about getting hired by them and he deleted it 💀

I hated this variety thing for a whole bunch of reasons not just them hating on Tom. But now seeing how everyone is starting to open their eyes to their bias against him is amazing.

I really hope that people, not just the fandom, defend Tom's performance because that article was completely unnecessary (it only serves to amplify the negativity). It's obvious that other websites will start echoing the article.

I just hope he knows that it's not the impression he left on everyone. Lot of my irl loved all the performances and specifically the last act with Toms and Matt scenes.

May I also add that they spent more time talking about Elon musk in Eliott section than actually praising his work as an actor. I found him amazing, I do think he would love something better written about him than that.
