I figure that in an AU, where Zutara is a thing, Katara wouldn’t be the passive Fire Lady-type that minds the children and all this other junk that gets written into headcanon 99% of the time. Out of the two of them, who do you think has more pull with the Water Tribes? When she first decides she wants to bring the baby along, he assumes he’ll be dealing with most of the meetings there while she stays in the guest house. Guess what, though? Doesn’t happen. He assumes the babysitter role whenever they’re traveling… Eventually gets pretty pro at it. He Digivolves into Dadko.
