Last days in Copenhagen! Then home sweet home.

So much fun at the football aka soccer game. They really do have some energy for their home team. " GO Brondby!" They won 2 to 1. Great game. It's amazing how aggressive they play and their agility is intense. Super athletes. Besides it being VERY cold, it was a blast.

Copenhagen, Denmark The little mermaid statue was a little underwhelming. But famous non the less. Anyway, Tay was ready to leave before we got there as I serenaded him with the song "a part of your world" in front of lots of people. Hah. So good. Just ask I will sing it for you too! 😛 We decided after walking really far to get there we would take the water bus part of the way back towards the train station. To get from our air B and B we take the train about 15 into the city then walk, or ride a boat. We got a 7 day city transportation pass where we can use trains, buses, and boats! Cool. We are Getting our use out of it that's for sure. Best fish and chips I have ever had, the fish was so good it felt like it was melting in your mouth. Mmmmm. I love imagining all the Danish people as Vikings.... It's quite entertaining on the trains. Lol. I have also enjoyed being in Denmark because it feels oddly homey being that the Petersen part of my family is Danish. It's pretty neat.

Copenhagen, Denmark Waterfront, nyhaven is the famous picturesque street and it was just that stunning.

Fun last day in Berlin Spent the morning at Starbucks, free wifi and coffee. When your apartment doesn't have wifi, you spend a lot of time at Starbucks, planning your day, checking email, and social media. Huh. At least it has a good friendly environment. I made a plan for the day to see 2 or 3 Christmas markets. We struck gold on the last one. Really fun, and very different from munichs. Munich's market were much better from the food to the goods, and just the feeling in them. We stumbled upon Check point Charlie on the way home. It was the point where the U.S. Was stationed during the Cold War. We have seen little pieces of history everywhere along our journey. Usually we see it get curious and then do some research. Learn as we go! After being in a little, I mean really little, student housing apartment, with no wifi. By far the least appealing air B and B. We wee ready to take our last train journey to Copenhagen, Denmark. One week in Copenhagen 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Berlin, Germany Kind of a blur. We are rounding third base of our trip and are headed towards home plate. Remaining grateful, and having fun each day none the less. Pictured the first night at postdamer platz, Sony center where big movies have premiered. Sooo we went to a movie. Duh. Next day memorial to murdered Jews. It was a beautiful display of architecture in remembrance of a scar in German history. The Berlin Wall which no longer stands. But there was a preserved section we visited. There is also a line of bricks running through the city where it stood, and is pictured above. This is the line running by our apartment.

Prague..... Swan beach was our favorite. We went multiple times.

Wednesday The real deal castle. Neuschwanstein castle. Walt Disney's inspiration for the Disney castle. He went on a trip there in his younger days and fell in love. It really was magical. The castle, was built in the 13th century. King Ludwig the 2nd who was a recluse of a king spent lots of money building multiple castles in far far away lands. Guess which picture we didn't take? Me with my artist friend. He looked like one of the huntsmen! So fun.

Tuesday Munich day two Dachau concentration camp. Outside Munich. Spent time observing such a profound part of history. We walked from the train station to the camp, the same walk that prisoners did after arriving in Dachau. We needed pizza after that Solemn day trip
