It was 2AM. Lisa couldn’t sleep. Contemplating whether she should just go to sleep or text Jennie and check up on her. Since Jisoo had mentioned, the other girl cried and wished she never had said anything. Why? Lisa thought. There could be a lot of reasons.

Giving up, she finally texted her.

Lisa sighed. It probably wasn’t the best time to talk to her.

Jennie, without hesitating, texted Lisa.

Lisa panicked, but it was too late. Jennie had already arrived an hour later.

Lisa sighed. After a long ride from the company, she’s finally home. Or maybe not. It feels empty. She wants to rest, close her eyes and not remember anything that’s just happened, but once she falls asleep and wake up, she will remember it.

The face Jennie had when she asked her, “Do you like me?” flashed through her mind. She sighed. Even herself doesn’t know what to answer. Jennie does make her feel things, make her happy whenever they spend time together at the company building or just when they talk through calls or texts, but that only felt good because she was away with her. She knew she can never handle being so close to her, and she’d rather stay far — because she can admire her more. Jennie would probably think of her as a creepy, but as long as she doesn’t know she’s always there for her, she’s good.

Lisa sighed. She got up, grabbed her phone and told Rosé she’s finally home.

Lisa took a deep breath. Jisoo’s message made her feel worse.

The three girls arrived, while Jennie was laid on the floor inside a practice room at the basement. Lisa approached, laying beside her — giggling. Jisoo screamed.

“This feels so fucking great!”

“I know, right?” Jennie smiled. Rosé sat beside Jennie, with Jisoo next to her as they prepare the snacks they bought. Lisa stood up, pulling Jennie up so they could start eating.

“Don’t let me go, I’ll fall...” Jennie told her softly, pertaining to Lisa’s hand holding hers as Lisa tried to pull her up. Or maybe there was another meaning to it.

“I won’t.” Lisa smiled, successfully pulling her up. The two other girls were silent as they have already started eating, Rosé moaning from the good food.

“Stop moaning, you’re disgusting.” Lisa scoffed at Rosé. Rosé said nothing and continued eating.

“It’s been a while since I last felt like I was safe and contented in this company...” Jisoo speaks.

“Same.” Said Jennie, trying to open her bottle of drink. Lisa grabbed it and opened it for her, Jennie smiled. “I’m so happy.” She added, not removing her eyes that were glued on Lisa.

“This feels like a celebration. I look forward to more meetings like this with you guys.” Lisa said, smiling at Jisoo.

Jennie, without hesitation, grabbed Lisa’s hand.

“Excuse us, I have to talk to her for a minute.” Said Jennie before leaving the practice room with Lisa. Rosé didn’t really care, while Jisoo was left wondering what just happened.

Jennie slammed the door of the practice room. Still holding Lisa’s hand, she took a deep breath and said, “Lisa, do you like me?” Lisa was flustered.

She didn’t know what to reply. Jennie was staring at her, waiting for her reply. She felt pressured, anxiety coming to eat her and swallow her anytime. She couldn’t breathe and started running away from Jennie.

Jennie couldn’t move, she couldn’t follow her. What the hell is holding me back? She thought. She want back in the room, only to find the two other girls behind the door, listening to them.

“Where’s Lisa?” Rosé asked. Jennie shrugged.

The next morning, the girls prepared for the meeting with their managers and the CEO. None of them were nervous, for talking to each other before leaving helped them calm each other’s nerves.

Jennie, who had the hardest time falling asleep, stared at Lisa. She has so many questions, but none of them have ever been answered. She was hoping Lisa would make a move, but the girl probably has no idea at all.

The meeting ended with a light atmosphere, and the other girls parted ways for a few minutes.

What Jennie meant with her last tweet was, she was going to try and talk to Lisa. It’s a risk she would be so brave to take, if it will help ease her mind. She sighed. It’s going to be a long day.

The groupchat the four girls were in started being active, with Rosé being the first to send a message.

Suddenly, Lisa remembered that she was playing 100 questions with Jennie. She checked her messages, only to see that she’d already replied, and that the other girl had left her on read.

Rosé then decided to talk to Lisa to ask her about what’s going on so far between the two.

On the other side, Jennie wasn’t asleep. She was wide awake, contemplating wether to reply to Lisa or just ignore something she can’t point out that’s been bothering her. Jisoo asks her.

Lisa sighed. She probably went to sleep. She thought. She tried to do the same, but everytime she’d close her eyes, she would only see Jennie and her bright smile. And remember the things they’ve talked about.

Fuck. How do I get her out of my head?

Jisoo asks Jennie about what happened when Lisa was at her house, and Jennie couldn’t hide her happiness even through text.

Of course, the GC goes wild as Lisa starts the conversation again.

Lisa smiled.

“Did I just call Jennie my... baby?” She cringed at herself as she throws her pillow— her smile not leaving her face.

Jenlisa can’t escape from their managers. And from chaeyoung and Jisoo as well.

Apparently, the two girls were busy going live on Vlive.

When Lisa was finally home, she checked her phone full of notifications from her friends and worse, her manager.

Lisa then checks her twitter account.

Minutes passed and she receives a text from Jennie.
