(On the phone with her Mother)

"Mother, I told you to stop with the blind dates they're worthless right now." I frowned angrily.

"Well I'm not getting any younger, I want a cute daughter-in-law and grand-babies." 

Said Mrs. Manoban.

Lisa sighs rolling her eyes from this nonsense.

"Mother, let's talk about this later, I need to head into work." I end the call.

5 months ago I became CEO at age 21 of my father's company after seeing how capable I was after graduating high school & college early.

Now I'm 22 still doing what's best for the company even though I'm known to be cold towards everyone. That's just how I am and feel.

I don't talk to people who I see as tools that work for me. I don't bother with them.

Father and Mother weren't in love and still aren't. They had an arranged marriage for business. When I was 5 my Nanny mainly took care of me. She showed me many things on how to control power and emotions. That was until she died when I was 11. At a young age I found out my father was involved with her death.

It pissed me off that he was involved I never got to know the real her. So I just wanted to forget her, but remembered her last wish.

My mother on the other hand was a money spender. She likes to buy expensive things and waste our money which got on my nerves.

I always have to deactivate her cards and bank accounts. She would always travel abroad and comeback months later repeating the cycle again and again. Now she's back setting me up with blind dates. Which is a load of bullshit, I don't like wasting my time on useless things.

As I step out of my 2023 black Porsche 911 Turbo S. I walk into my company's building. 

Everyone stare in fright by my stone cold face, getting out of the way.

I have my own private elevator. I use my hand print to access the the elevator, pressing the top floor that leads to my office. As the doors open my secretary was waiting, sitting in front of my desk. Her name is Diana, and she's 7 months pregnant, ready to quit and move on with life, but is helping me find the perfect secretary to replace her in the mean time.

Diana used to work for my father but now works for me now that I'm the CEO, but mainly works under me with her loyalty.

She isn't just a secretary that works here.

"Morning Ms. Manoban" Diana stood up bowing. I just walk to my desk not greeting back, sitting on my swivel chair, rummaging through some files that were on my desk.

"Have you found me a decent secretary yet?"

I said in a firm tone.

"No, not yet, they all show how capable they are on their resumes, but in the interviews they're different from what they say and some have bad communication skills and memorizing skills."

My phone rings annoyingly once again.

'Tsk, I swear I'll block her and change my number.' I muttered making Diana flinch.

I declined her call.

"Y-you should answer or she'll cause a scene in the main floor again." 

Diana nervously said looking down.

I heavily sighed with a frown.

Mother

"Hello."

"Lisa answer the phone when I call you!"

Yells Mrs. Manoban in frustration.

Diana unsurprised that she could hear her.

"Mother if it's about the blind dates I told you I wouldn't be attending." 

I massaged the side of my temple.

"Look my sweetie pie."

I slightly frowned.

"I just want you to go to these blind dates because we need more connections with your father's company, you know how he is." 

He's the Chairman of the company and leader of the board.

"Fine...I'll go to ONE blind date, but if it doesn't work out don't bother calling." 

I said in a cold tone.

"Great! The blind date is at 3:30pm at the café store near the company, the one I usually go to."

My mother said with joy.

"Alright, if you ask me to go to another date,

I sure will deactivate your cards." 

I clenched my hand gazing coldly into the distance.

"Tsk, sure you will." 

She ends the call before I could.

"Diana do you know where Bambam is?"

I said with a cold done wondering where he was since he usually should've been here.

"No, should I call him to know his whereabouts?"

I shook my head not caring anymore.

"No just let it be." Diana nods understanding while I got back to doing my work as CEO.

~Time passed~

I told Diana that she should work at home instead of coming to the company. I don't know how pregnancy works, and I don't want to deal with it right now.

3:00pm

Lisa heads to the Café waiting for her blind date to arrive. She ordered herself a black sugarless coffee and takes sips.

A woman with a dark shaded sunglasses and blonde wing sits across me sipping my coffee.

"Hey can you help me out I'm being chased."

The woman whispers eagerly.

"Why would I help someone who drank my coffee without my permission." I glared at the woman.

She stares at my coffee she had sipped from without realizing. She cleans the part she sipped.

"There happy?" Said the woman

I give a cold glare arching one eyebrow.

She seems interesting, yet naive...

"Sure, as long as you help me out with one thing." The woman felt unease.

"Alright what do you need help with?" 

Said the woman

"My blind date will be here any minute now and I want you to pretend you're my girlfriend." 

The woman was stunned to what she heard.

"Okay...If that brings benefits to you and me, 

I'll accept." Said the woman feeling satisfied with the deal.

"What's your name?" I questioned.

"My name is... Nini." 

She hesitated...Why lie about her name...?

I could tell she was lying, but went along with it.

"Alright 'Nini' my name is Lili"

I found her smile unusually beautiful...

Waiting for my blind date a tall foreign woman with brown hair walks in.

"Hi I'm Lucy." She smiled than glared at Nini who was sitting in her spot across me.

"Oh, and who may you be?" 

She said with a confused reaction.

"I'm Nini, Lili's girlfriend." she said in a sassy way and rolls her eyes.

She sure can act. 

"Girlfriend?" 

She looks at me surprised, yet confused.

"Than why are we having a blind date if you have a girlfriend already huh?"

"I was forced to be here." I said in a cold tone.

I stood up from my seat and so did Nini

"We'll take our leave then." 

I said walking towards Nini as she copies me, we both turn away to the exit.

"Wait! How do I know if that Is your girlfriend?"

She looks at us skeptical.

"Do you think I'm a fool!?"she said unconvinced.

Yes, you can't take the hint that I don't want to be here with you.

"Prove it than." She smirks 

Nini rolles her eyes

"Why do-" I cut her off grabbing her chin pulling her face towards mine crashing our lips together.
