Additionally! I can't believe this didn't occur to me when I made the original post but it is SO EASY to live a double life unnoticed. Nobody pays that much attention. Even my best friends at college had Not A Fucking Clue. People will just assume that you know what you're doing and move on. Everyone has bigger things to worry about (ESPECIALLY in college/uni). I wore a cap through freezing snow and ice and they just assumed it was a fashion statement.
