Kinetic Energy Manipulation:

Hypnotic Charm: Subliminal psionic talent channeled through his voice that allows a subtle influence over any sentient mind. This power allows Jem to compel others to believe what he says and agree with anything he suggests. More powerful minds have proven immune to Jem's charm, and people who are consciously aware of what he's doing can shake off the effects.

Receptive Empathy: Quite possibly the shittiest ability in the world, Jem can sense other people's emotions and can oftentimes be influenced by them as well. It's like a backfire sort of effect, you know? He can't use it on them, he has no empathic influence over anyone else, he can sense the emotions in the people, objects, animals, and greenery around him. Essentially? He's totally connected to the Matrix and he hates every single minute of it. His ability to feel others' emotions has given him an incredible advantage, and if he feels any ill intent from someone toward him to start out with he may steer clear and never pop up again.

Joker chewed the inside of his cheek. Sometimes getting the best pieces he needed for a joke made him nervous. This was one of those jokes. He hit a smoke nervously and exhaled as he watches Ollie do whatever it was doing.

Esther tried to grab for Jax but was still slow do to the drugs running through her body.

Jax stormed up and attempted to punch Joker as hard as he could.

The hit lands, knocking his jaw hard and sending the shades flying. An immediate grin happens on Jokers face and he laughs.

"Would ya like to do that again?" He asks, slowly approaching Jax with challenging eyes.

“I thought you had been looking for them? For Sydney’s sake?”

He didn’t know what to do what to say.

"I didn't know who was in the cull." Joker shrugs.

She grabbed onto Jax.

“So are we freed, then? And can we see our sister?”

"Rescued more like." Joker scoffs and opens the smoker to baste the meats he was smoking.

Esther nodded, wobbling badly. Leaning heavily against Jax now.

“Thank you.”

“What do you need me to do now?” Jem asked.

"Drop the trailer inside the warehouse. Those girls look hungry, and I made meat." He says, spitting some blood onto the concrete from the punch.

Miriam was still more affected by the drugs than her sisters.

Rina nodded and muttered something about it being a good thing she wasn’t a pure vegetarian and could still stomach meat sometimes.

Jax had both Esther and Miriam in his arms while Rina was just leaning against him. She wasn’t the cuddly one compared to her sisters.

Jem nodded and ran off to take care of the trailer.

"Oh, there's corn and beans and potato salad too." Joker mentions, though the later two were in the cooler with the beers and sodas. He had dreamed up a picnic table for the women to sit at and watched them realize it manifested before their eyes. "Anything in particular you'd like, Rina?" He wonders, knowing that buttering up the family was his redemption ticket in this moment of his albeit innocent, yet still mistake of kidnapping them in a cull.

Esther was always very protective of her loved ones even when she could barely stand.
