Currently overwhelmed by a dirty house 😭. I’m doing things little by little and trying to enjoy my Sunday.

We have another out of town day in a few days to see the new Spider-Man movie so I’m only going to allow myself a purchase under $25.
I think going forwards I’m just going to give myself a budget each time we go out as I think it’s just unfeasible to not get anything. It makes me want more things so I think a budget will just work better for me.

Day 7 FAILED 😣
If I’m counting communal purchases I failed by $132 dollars 😖. But if not then I’m still in the game as I spent $7 which would leave me with $12 to spare.
I’m counting it as a HUGE fail as the majority of the communal purchases were a luxury (dvds, autumn decor) 😔. The only purchase I deem as necessary was new bedsheets that were seasonal as we just need bed sheets in general.
Bummed at myself for not being responsible with money but I will take this as a lesson rather than completely being self loathing. I will continue to report my spendings for the rest of the 31 days to be accountable and to embarrass myself if I spend more. Which i obviously don’t plan to but gah 😖.
Day 8 (today) complete as I’m not gonna go anywhere.
But good news: I was able to still put $50 to some important yearly bills and my partner put another $50 to important fees as well. So yayyyyyy, even though we blew more than half his paycheck on treats yayyyyyyy, we’re so dumb yayyyyyyyy 😭.
