Yeah what Actually Happened is that he was often left home alone while his parents were at hospital with Saki, but this wasn't for extended periods of time and there was only one time they ever forgot to contact him when they had to rush off before he got home from school, AND they apologised and he's forgiven them. People are so eager to paint Tsukasa's family as neglectful and abusive when this is repeatedly stated to not be the case. No shit coming home to an empty house scared him, HE WAS LIKE 7. It's not something he's been hung up on for 10 years he's feels worse about his emotional outburst than what actually happened with jis parents. But I guess people would rather push angstkasa. If I'm being honest I think a lot of angstkasa is (and absolutely started as) kids projecting their bad parental experiences and childhoods onto their favourite character the problem is that people who don't actually read any of his stories started taking this as gospel and then it got us where we are now. Like no the Tenma parents aren't bad people they're human, Tsukasa's personality isn't fake, he doesn't hate his family literally his entire story and character is based around how much he loves his family and friends. He's an extremely hopeful and positive and loving character. What are we doing?
