Omg I just realized something about that flashbang Jax stepped on, where else have we seen bright white light used in TADC?
Kinger's Epiphany at the end of Episode 7
I originally thought that someone threw it but I don't remember or see anyone actually throw it, so I've been hurmin and hummin about it til it hit me.
Jax had her epiphany about herself & is why her whole body glows white from the flash!
White light brings Epiphany!!
And it's why she's passive when being led to the Pillow Palace, and it adds to some hope and a theory about abstractions as well.
We all have the understanding it is about Suicide, I want to add to that with a another added perspective I experienced as well:
Disorder and Disability.
Surviving suicide will still require learning to live with disorder, and disability if it causes it, but abstraction itself, taken literally as ahown in the show, doesn't kill the person, but buries them just like unaccomadated/cared for disorder and disability! Abstraction visually looks disordered, every person who abstracted did so because of disorder of their own and/or from others primarily Jax.
At the end of the day, Jax is going to have to learn to live with her new body, and what do you do irl to learn to live with disorder and disability? You make a safe space for yourself, you rest, you heal, you do all you can to love yourself and learn about yourself,
You give yourself a Pillow Palace
And that is why it's not over for Jax, and why I know she's going to be ok in the Digital Circus,
Because your life is never over when you become disabled.
Maybe I'm coping lol but it's cathartic and I don't think I've ever been hit this hard by or cared about an asshole like Jax, while ruminating about a character this much, ever!!
Holy shit, she is so fucking amazing, top tier trans icon because goddamn do she represent a lot of us in many different ways, and what a lesson she brings to those like her trans or not!
Learn about yourself, be kind to yourself, open up and dive in and let it all out!
Heal baby HEAL!!!
Anyway, thank you @gooseworx for such an incredibly deep and personal character and show.
Also I just saw an art piece by hornyfudge where Jax has an internal "am I ready to wake up" dialogue and wakes up in her transitioned body. It's so wholesome and I love the detail of the abstraction still on her ears because even tho she's out and awake, to me its touching because she still has to learn to live in her new body with the disorder/disability/abstraction since it never really goes away.
As it's nsfw (just nudity) I can't reblog it since it's not on tumblr, iykyk where to find it.
