remembering this scene in s5e16 "the softer side" / the methadone episode and the red tie looks. oddly familiar so i do a little rewatching and look what i found in s3e11 "words and deeds" >:)

the red tie is a gift from WILSON. a tie that house still keeps despite the rare practical use and his aversion to adhering to hospital attire. it's such a small detail but i feel like it holds the same significance as house keeping the gift unwrapped from wilson with the note "greg, made me think of you" for a whole year.

it makes the next shot in "the softer side" all the more funnier.

I love how after Pierce dies Jeff starts acting gayer. Like he’s no longer worried about being called out by the old bigot who sits next to him when he sways his hips a lil too hard. Season six Jeff is leaning flamboyantly on a sofa with his wrist flapped making gaydar eyes with the Dean as they non verbally try to figure out if their friend is a lesbian like a couple of sassy old queens. We love character development
