The boys, simultaneously: We got lost :(

Very long story short: I quit my secure admin job a month ago to go back to the same job I quit 4 years ago so I can pursue voice acting properly and focus solely on content creation and v/a work in my spare time.

My admin job was salaried - yes - but it also boiled down to a minimum wage job for a severely stressful role in a hospital setting. I had no free time mentally or physically to work on my career goals or exercise them in any way. My mental health plummeted towards the end of the summer, and I was at an impasse about where to go and what to do.

After a lot of crying, panic attacks, depressive episodes, conversations with family and friends, I decided to reach out to an old colleague to see if I could snag my very old retail job back. They said they’d be thrilled to have me. It felt right.

I’m back in a job that I used to adore, I’m able to use my creative and performance skills there once again, and I’ll soon be motivated to start focusing solely on my voice acting and in what capacity I can get paid work for it.

I’m still adjusting to my new “life” so to speak. Almost like I’ve pushed a reset button and I’m about to play the game levelled up with all the perks and knowledge of before. I’m already happier, my health has improved, I’m seeing my friends a lot more, I’m excited about life, I’m doing things I never thought I’d do again, and I’m genuinely just thrilled to get started!

I’ll make sure I’m back with some killer content when my mind is completely settled into this new existence I’ve created, and I appreciate and love y’all so very much😄
