I'm quite certain that I'm broken. But people say "You're fine," I feel a fire in my mind that screams at them "You lie!" I cannot eat in peace or dine, I cannot enjoy wine, I cannot see my place in time, I cannot draw a line, A carrot cannoned through my eye just might have made me blind... But caring seems too sensitive...I guess I'm just behind...

It's kinda weird looking back... At the time I was going through some of the experiences I've been through...I didn't notice how...alcoholic...I really was. For example, back when I worked at Guitar Center... I had beer for breakfast. Damn near every day, I didn't think anything of it. It seemed like a good way to get some easy carbs and I had them in the fridge at all times and in large quantities... That's not healthy, frankly. Not at all.That's the tricky think with alcohol. The problems it causes don't necessarily manifest in one moment. Sure, one moment of reckless driving can wreck two families, and that's no joke, but... There's a lot of more subtle things that are effected. Little interactions here and there that otherwise probably wouldn't be a big deal...but because the view of reality is distorted...are made a big deal. Now you're getting upset at insignificant shit, or missing significant shit because you're focus on the insignificant shit.
