I am most proud of my approach with developing and approaching the project that I need to complete. Treating much of my focus upon this project and putting everything aside has helped, as has grouping the project down into different sections that also help me to have a better idea as to where each description can go. I am also proud with how I have undertaken the research and also properly used it in my writing to support specific areas. The knowledge that I have also gained has also helped me to write an essay that I believe flows perfectly and also has a proper voice to it.

What I like the most about my essay is its focus upon the three filmmakers I chose to look at on Instagram for this analysis: James Gunn, Scott Derrickson, and Edgar Wright. What I feel that I did the best at here was really center my attention upon their posts and also carefully look at the different data that was present within each post and also saw how each one differed in various ways. This also helped me to gain a better idea as well as to what posts were liked the most and which ones weren't, some of what did surprise me.

I am still somewhat confused about Data Analysis. Specifically Quantitative Data Comparison, Qualitative Data Comparison, and Mixed Data Comparison. Better descriptions could help me out.

I have never had to commit to writing a research question before as I can best recall, though such an approach does interest me. I believe that this can help, because then you can figure out how to best conduct the research that is needed for whatever type of project that you are committing yourself to and will eventually write. Thus, in so many ways, you will not go overboard and research areas that do not support the project and which may also bog you down and waste your time. Having this question in front of you can remind you as to what your intended project focuses upon and the key facts and artifacts that need to be researched and also gain more knowledge in as well, which is also important in better understanding and realizing the eventual project. Even if this project is still yet to be in written form or its final, polished state.

I have learned that with Tumblr we can approach it differently than with perhaps other social media sites like Twitter or Instagram or even Threads. This comes down to the main point that this site is in so many ways more of a blog in a fashion. Instead of reposting, you can refer to it as reblogging. It almost seems like one's own thoughts are allowed a bit more depth in some fashion, though one can still not get too carried away. One needs to remember that they aren't writing a novel. However, they can be as descriptive as they want to be. There seems to be no limit on words. At the end of the day, instead of just being a traditional or rather normal social media page, this is instead more of a blog in most fashions. While anyone on here doesn't need to treat as such, they can be reminded about the uniqueness that it allows in such an area.

I am still new to understanding and still also confused by it, finding it to be rather complex. Though with the Capriotti article and also the textbook for class, I believe that my understanding can be better managed. The tables and figures are still perplexing to me, as are the mathematical equations that are used to gain such recording on data. This comes down to the fact that this is also not one of my strongest suits, most especially concerning math. But I do believe that as I pay close attention to certain key passages from the Capriotti article and also the key specific chapters in the textbook, my understanding just might be better assisted in gaining some kind of further knowledge on this.

Content Final Project

A data piece that I plan to analyze is Empire Magazine's social media page on Instagram. This goes along with my interest in film and also showing the broad appearance that such a magazine has. This also goes along with the fact that there are filmmakers I follow on Instagram who also follow Empire Magazine's social media feed, such as director Edgar Wright and even actor Nick Frost. I also believe that this can show the expansive reach that such a magazine has, especially since it originates from the United Kingdom, but also has a huge impact within the United States just as much as in their own country.

The data analysis practice project helped me to figure out how to properly analyze data, but also helped me in figuring out my own issues in doing it just as much. I am still having difficulties in this, mainly because the very thought of data and analyzing it has never really crossed my mind. While this is new to me, it is still fascinating and the article surrounding universities and their use of social networking fascinated me and also surprised me. While I still have a few misunderstandings in how the tables and figures are outlined, the research and the analysis interested me in the findings that the authors conducted and formed.

Dividing Up The Project

I am not the best at reading graphs, such as tables or figures, so I am confused overall as to how those best put forth the right amount of information upon the findings concerning data in the article we read on universities and their social networking. Can this be explained a bit better? Especially in the Figure 2 on Content Blocks.
