Coming at me with big guns already?! They were both such liberating characters to play, but i’m going to go with Lovecraft. The way it is still relevant now and needed made the activist in me so happy.

I’ve already binged the whole season… I’m not ashamed, I’ve had a lot of down time.

They were so nice, food and family. What about yours?

Once they showed Simon I was excited and ready to binge the show. Downtime for me comes and goes, it all depends on either Hunter or his father. The holidays do help a lot since we are all in the same place. It was so nice to see my sons third Hanukkah since you can see some of the concepts being grasped. He kept asking to light the menorah this year! Then his father had Christmas and I spent the New Years alone, but it was relaxing. 

By the way I was able to see Happiest Season and it was amazing! The story was so good and I cried like a baby. 

I’m on my third episode. I was relaxing after a long tiring flight from London. But glad to finally have some peace and quiet before the parties happening. It had been great. I’ve seen my family and it was amazing. How about yours?

I ended up finishing it a lot faster than I expected. Probably will pick up the books if time allows. Not sure when I will be getting back to Lovecraft Country. Which could really mess up my idea of time periods. Got to witness my sons third Hanukah and Christmas. It was with my ex husband and it went a lot better than I hoped for. The Hanukah part is just for Hunter and I. Did you go to any special parties last night? 

Margot: awe thats so cute!! I’m going to need a long nap after all these parties! Hahaha what’s new with you? Tell me everything! I’ve missed you so so much!

Jurnee: I already took a good four hour nap from last night. Well Hunter is taking the divorce a lot better than expected. I know he is only three but I didn't know if he would start behaving different. Josiah and I have split custody at the moment. When things get better I am hoping to move near him. Then Hunter won't ever have to worry about not being with either of us.

Jurnee: Now that the divorce is really over and we are settled. I guess it's becoming time to focus on what I need, but i'm so scared. Putting yourself out there again is scary to me. Might need you as a wing woman one night.

i have no idea what it is about room service food but it hits so differently than anything else. i always feel so complete after eating my entire body weight in waffles. that flight was the worst! and the woman beside me was the rudest. i ask myself constantly why i’m not rich enough for a private jet, because i hate sitting next to strangers now. they are all so moody. i have heard about that and i may attend that myself. either way this will be my first new years eve in new york, so i’m excited about that.

I could easily go for some decent waffles right now. Lately it’s been these smoothie bowls that I tried to get Hunter into. He is three and only enjoys so much, but somehow smoothie bowls are a hit. A private jet would be such a wonderful thing to own. I wonder if some celebrities could make some type of uber with a few private jets. We all just invest and then not have to deal with rude passengers. It was a wonderful party! I ended up wandering around downtown to watch the ball drop. There is some magical about New York City when it’s new years

Margot: hey, my queen! how was your christmas?! are you coming to the party tonight for Jake? if so, we need to tell the bartender to make those drinks Rosie always made us drink..only I don't think they'll be as good or strong as she makes them, haha.

Have we as a society progressed beyond the need for New Year’s resolutions, or are we still clinging to those dying dreams? I’ve been given plenty of suggestions by my loving family, ranging from becoming an art snob and putting something other than paint on my walls, moving to France and learning how to make crepes right from the source, and doing the whole newly-divorced woman thing by chopping all my hair off or going red. Quite frankly, I think it’ll be a miracle if I get the tree down before February. How about you all? Got any big plans for the New Year, or are we still coming down off the holidays to even entertain thoughts of 2021? Also, hi, I’m Jennifer, and no, I can’t fire the bow and arrow anymore. I’ve really let myself go. Disappointing, I know. ( @hfrpstarters​ )

I love the idea of the New Year, but don’t like the whole resolution thing. Things change too much for the world for such a set goal at the beginning of a year. Moving to France sounds very interesting and makes sense as how you also became an art snob. Unless, that was a thing before France. I cut my hair after my divorce, however it was for a role, so not so sure that counts? I am thinking of going to that masquerade that I heard about today.  A fancy dress and some mystery is sounding to be right up my alley.

the older i get the more i realize my body doesn’t react to hopping timezone’s as easily as i used to. i used to be able to fly from home to la and vice versa, but now? i just got back from being home for the holiday’s and i feel like actual death. i don’t think a person is meant to be on a plane for a straight thirty-six hours. so yeah, if anyone needs me i’ll be curled up in my hotel room watching leftover christmas movies and eating my body weight in room service until new years. speaking of new years— anyone have any big plans? / @hfrpstarters​

Eating your weight in room service after long press tours were my go to. It really should be the cure to all things traveling. A thirty-six hour flight sounds awful so i’m glad to hear that is over. As for New Years I am thinking of going to the masquerade. After watching Bridgerton a fancy dance sounds pretty enticing.
