As you already saw, I'm Jay! I'm transgender (ftm) and aroace. I am a minor and have struggled with dysphoria for the past few years, but I think I've finally figured it out!
I like art, both digital and traditional, and writing stories. I'm always thinking of new book ideas for my characters, even if I don't get around to writing them. When drawing digitally, I don't have any specifics when it comes to canvas size or brushes, but I use IBIS Paint X! This next part will be my many (current) interests! It will update as it changes.

What's this blog about?
My blog isn't about one specific thing, it's a messy collection of whatever I decide to post or reblog! It's constantly changing with me as I grow. It's not always going to have a consistent posting schedule even if I say it will. However! My ask box will always be open and free for any questions you may have for me!
Please don't be upset if I stop posting for months on end, most likely I'm dealing with something at home and need a break from being online. I'm human just like the rest of you and can't always get out of bed to blog about my art or new things happening. Also, to my online friends here, please don't think I'm purposely ignoring you during these times. It's not that I don't want to talk to you, it's that I can't.

I’d like to add this photo I took last night in Victoria of the statue of Captain Cook. Though I myself am not indigenous, I 100% agree that these murderers, kidnappers and rapists shouldn’t have huge statues and plaques that decorate them and say how “great” they were.

I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.
This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.
They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.

I might occasionally post snippets about the AU but other than that I'm sorry. You all can take the au and make your own story so it won't be completely forgotten. i enjoy that tumblr is mostly drama-free but its actually extremely concerning how poorly news is spread around here. i've learned of like several very open homophobes and transphobes (some of which hide behind different languages, but express super bigoted opinions) in the fandom that just continue to interact with somewhat big names and have plenty of active queer fans in the community, and i've found posts calling out that behavior just not getting the attention they need with 300 notes at most, sometimes much less. i try to stay mostly out of controversy and discourse unless its absolutely necessary, but this is actually extremely concerning. what are we going to do about this?
i think we should be ridiculing them more for this. you don't get to try and go all "queer website" when your staff likes to go on nuking sprees targeting the trans fem users
