Right?! God do I feel you, Anon. They really do need to just stop talking. I know of a few musicians who used to refuse to put song lyrics on their cd covers (random cd reference, I’m old, lol) because they wanted the listener to interpret and experience each song through their own lenses. I wish film makers/writers would do the same, honestly. Because the ones that dictate every single aspect and nuance of a story to us take away the entire point behind symbolism and allegorical storytelling. And in the case of the Russos and Markus and McFeely, they’re contradicting each other, which just makes things all the more exasperating.
