Our very own Will Brown recently released a project titled New Planet EP.

The 7-track, 17 minute project combines layered melodies with processed samples to create hip-hop and post rock influenced electronica.  Some highlights include "New Planet,” a melancholy pop indie ballad about finding love amidst an environmental apocalypse, and “Venti” a rap that transplants the drug-addled hedonistic ethos of modern hip-hop into a visit to Starbucks.

Little Simz voice demands respect, she’s got that shut-up-and-listen tone that you just can’t help but give into. Her verses are miniature adventures you get lost in until you look down and realize the song is almost over. Strong wordsmiths and storytellers are hard to come by but a rapper like Simz, who can do both, is lethal.
