“That’s why you don’t have any real close friends…” Hard words, tough to forget, but easy to move past. They’re not false words either. I probably abandoned a lot of people who were in my life during that time. Phone calls went unanswered, and missed calls never returned. Blaming myself allows me to accept the situation and figure out a solution, so admittedly, it was no one’s fault but my own. The situation at the time forced me to create a space in my life, (of which, retrospectively, was under-deserved..)as a result pushing into and making smaller the lines of the circles around those who did. It involved countless trips on the road traveling, instead of countless days around people I shared classes with…;(to be continued..
