“That is one thing I must say about Carroll… or hell, maybe even California in general, but it is definitely full of beautiful people. Besides, someone with your personality will one hundred percent have their pick of the litter.” Smirking over at him, her brows rose at his words, the heiress grinning in amusement as she leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek. “You’re actually adorable, honestly. Maybe we should bring it up to August. Yeah, yeah best friends my ass, do you want to like be more than that? Besides sleeping with her of course, most people do.”

“I do have to agree that this state is full of good looking people. I do have a personality people seem to love.” He nodded his head, never having an issue when it came to finding women or men interested. A bright smile made it to his lips as his cheek was kissed.”Why thank you, I try my hardest.I am down for bring it up to him. As long as he won’t be uncomfortable with the subject.” He had experience with situations like this not working out. He never wanted to make other uncomfortable. “The two of us did date back in high school. That feels like forever ago. I know I’ve changed and I don’t know if I’m really what she needs.”

The sound of snow hitting him sent a peal of laughter past her lips as she brushed away a few stray flakes of snow from her face, cast off from the direct hit he’d taken. “Oh stop that, Jasper. You’re just being salty because you didn’t have the forethought to be the one to start a town wide snowball fight.”

Jasper whipped the snow from his already cold ear. A small chuckle left his lips. “I’m not going to admit whether that is true or not.” He stated as he kept an eye out for any more snow that might come there way. “I do enjoy a good snowball fight.”

“Oh my god, do they ever. You should see every single of them is beautiful and adorable. They lucked out on the gene pool lottery. Then again, so did I.” Grinning as she brushed her hair from her face with a pinkie, before smirking over at him. “Well, I mean, I could bring up a threesome to August. We have been talking about it.” Perking about at him she had to admit she was only half joking. “There’s some cute girls here, aren’t you close with that blond girl?”

“Now I’m curious to take a look at this family tree of theirs. Then again this town seemed to be full of attractive people. Once of the reason I decided to come back.” He lifted an eyebrow, a bit curious at her reply. It was one he didn’t quite expect. “Oh really? Well I have to admit I’m pretty experienced. Theatre kids know how to have some fun, not to mention we are crazy flexible.” He replied, a smirk crossed his face. “You mean Dylan? Yeah her and I are close. She’s one of my best friends.”

“That is very true. I don’t think we can be friends anymore.” Smirking over at him with a shake of her head, the thought of swimming in snow made her wrinkle her nose, but by the sounds of it there was people already having something of a snowball fight. “Sounds like people are already having fun with it, though.”

“Well, this friendship was grand while it lasted.” He let out a playful sigh before feeling snow hit the side of his head. He let out a sound of surprise as the cold ball of frozen water hit his ear. A few of the people throwing snow shouted sorry over to him. “Maybe they are having a little too much fun with it.” He grumbled, taking off the glasses he was wearing in order to clean them.

“Well, I mean, mine sorta came to me considering he moved here, so… I don’t know. Get to know his sister, they have six brothers and I know for a fact at least two of them are single.” Wagging a finger at him with a grin, Autumn shook her head. “You’re catch, anyway. That mountain man would be the lucky one.”

“I hope their whole family has those amazing genes. Though as much as I’d like a good looking mountain man, I also would mind a beautiful queen.” He let out a dramatic sigh. “Too bad the only options in town are dating one another. If you ever need a third I happen to be back in town. You know where to find me, Manchester.” He playfully threw a wink her way. His flirting was mainly him having a little fun.

“You should see August out there shovelling that snow like a machine. I gotta say there’s some serious perks to have an Alabama mountain man, I love watching him be all… like… rugged and stuff.” Grinning as she sipped at her coffee, she shook her head with a little shrug. “I tried to help but got told I’d be better spectating so like, you won’t hear me complaining. Blisters would not be cute on these hands.”

 “Where can I find myself an Alabama mountain man? Besides in Alabama or the mountains. Both those locations aren’t really my type.” Jasper made a unpleasant face before letting out a chuckle. “If I brought home someone like him maybe my old man would have someone to bond with.” 

Laughing softly as she kept a guiding hand on his arm, Evolet shook her head as he felt Mozart rest against the side of her leg. “You had better not have, Jasper, or we can’t be friends anymore. Honestly.” Giving him a nudge, Evolet sighed softly. “Is it really as deep as they say it is? It definitely made the world so bright, I’m kind of loving it.” Considering light was basically all she could see.

“I mean I did come back into town and then suddenly blizzard.” He mentioned, letting out a small chuckle. He glanced over towards a snow drift almost as tall as he was. “I’d say it’s as deep as they say. I feel like I could swim in it, if I wouldn’t freeze my butt off.”

“Does it ever feel so good to feel the sun again.” Evolet did everything her power to avoid cold weather, so a week freezing among basically everyone she’d ever known in her life was basically her idea of a nightmare. “I may never go back inside.”

“I thought I escaped from the cold coming back here.” Jasper was looking forward to coming back to sunny California. Instead he was met with a blizzard. “I think I might have accidentally brought the snow with me from New York.”
