The sour expression on her face was scrunched up into one of glee as Lucy heard her friend’s squeal of excitement. “Hey pickle.” She grinned, squeezing Dylan tight as she listened to the offer that was blurted out to her. As with most major decisions in Lucy’s life, it wasn’t one she meditated on for too long. “Uhhh, yes? Dylan’s eyes turned sad briefly. “Why aren’t you going to Vietnam anymore, babe?” Her eye’s quickily brightening as she knew she’d share an apartment with one of her bestest friends. “So I can start moving in whenever. Figured I’d just start moving stuff over slowly. I’d love the help if you want, and you could bring some of your stuff by too.” Her lips tightening a little. “What happened between you and Penny?”
