THIS IS SO LAST MINUTE, BUT WHAT DID YA EXPECT?  On Sunday the 31st when it starts gettin’ dark out, put on a raincoat over your Johtonese New Year kimonos and show up to the big ol’ mansion in Po Town on Ula’Ula Island, Alola. Then we gonna rage till the sun comes up! That’s right, this house party is gonna have music, drinks, snacks, video games, and what’s a NYE shebang w/out fireworks?! (Before anybody says ANYTHING about rain: they can still explode in the rain!) Team Skull is your host, and anybody’s invited! This night ONLY, we won’t give a shit who walks through our door! We just wanna say GOODBYE to one year and HELLO to the next! We also just really wanna go hard, blow some stuff up and such—you know how we do. The theme is lowkey Johtonese New Year ‘cause we’re tryna one-up the festival going on in Malie!

@reconnaissance-for-the-light—Jasmine looked up from where they were tending Robin’s injuries after the stranger(military for sure, they recognized the stance. After all it was their own when they weren’t pretending to be someone else.) had challenged them to battle.

For a moment Jasmine was confused by the statement until they saw the spilled contents from their bag. A picture of themself as a child several years ago facing up from the grass; both parents standing by the smiling toddler with a Ralts in their arms.

Dulse was silent at first, reaching his hand out to pet between his furfrou’s ears, Yarrow giving a contented bark as he was praised for the win. The commander sighed.

“One left for someone else, the other refused to let me live my own life. I’d prefer they stopped pretending that everything is fine and perfect when I have to talk to them.”

each participant will be assigned someone to play delibird-in-disguise for. your muse must give their muse a mewsmas stocking full of goodies, or a present, or something else special!

the gifts must be given on anonymous, which means all participants must have anonymous asks turned ON. as stated above, your muse may reveal themselves if the recipient guesses who gave them their gift correctly, but otherwise they must wait until the new year to reveal themselves!

the gifts can be ANYTHING, but gifts of live pokémon are strongly discouraged. they’re living things, not objects, yo.

i will be accepting names via ASK ONLY until 3:00 p.m. mountain time on friday, december 22 and will have all names assigned by midnight that night. participants will then have all of saturday and sunday to submit their asks before christmas day.
