Hi! this is a slightly stupid question but what's the difference between primary care and internal medicine? Also, are cardiology/neurology/etc fellowships under PC or IM, or are they their own residencies? Thank you so much for answering questions so thoroughly, I really appreciate it :)

Primary care is an umbrella term encompassing several specialities including: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and possibly Geriatrics. Primary care refers toy our primary doctor who will follow the patient primarily. They are the coach and possibly the quarterback for all the patient’s care.
