furthermore, Tristan has come across him a couple times.
Doll gowther always took him out horse back riding, it was one of Tristans favorite thing to do. they'd often race, having a planned dout start and finsh line, through a part of the forest in the suburbs of Liones and coming out the other end.
Well, when Tristan was around 9 they were doing their race, as per usual, but he must've taken a wrong turn. he ended up in a small clearing, a thin river cutting though it, a few trees with apples growing on them dotted around.
and a small cabin closer to the trees.
At this point it's almost dark, and Tristan needs to get home soon or atleast be in the presence of the pink haired doll before the sun went down. that is, unless he wanted to be banned from leaving castle grounds for a week or two. not being able to come up with another option, he gets off his horse, ties it to a tree and walks slowly towards the cabin.
he knocks cautiously on the door. he has no idea who could open it, not a clue what could happen once they recognise him.
so imagine his relief when he sees the familiar yellow eyes and pink hair.
but the relief is short lived when he realises one factor that sets this eprosn apart from the gowther he knows. the person standing before him is a woman.
Tristan swallows gowthers name carefully spilling past his lips in a vocie that was barely audible over the light trickle of water.
the woman raises a brow at him, confused at how this little boy she's never seen before knows her husband's name, but fetched him for Tristan nonetheless.
Now Tristan is face to face with a tall man. blonde hair going down to the centre of his back, green eyes almost like his father's, and a cane in his left hand.
And gowther instantly recognises Tristan. instantly sees both Elizabeth and Meliodas purely on the boys face. So the smile he offers is soft, one he used on Merlin when she was a similar age as Tristan is now many times long in the past.
(do not ask me how Glariza's back aswell, I'm sure he'd find a way)
