yk I think it's so interesting how Marcus and Justice going against the Steward Code (going out for one night, which led to Marcus being captured) caused the irreperable death of all Stewards, but at the same time Cyprian going against the Steward Code (freeing Will and Violet from the cells and running off with them to save his brother) is what saved his life from dying like all his brethren.

Gonna be buying a Captive Prince poster but I have zero room in my apartment :(( I’ll have to take down a kpop poster to make it fit. Sacrifices must be made for the OTP

i feel like devon's storyline is so underrated like a being from the light joining the dark side bc thats the only way of him being able to go back to the old world, being literally the only thing left from that old world.. bc yes sarcean was "defeated", but he still saw everyone and everything he knew die and lived through it all, lived ten thousand years in a world that knew nothing about magic and about what had happened i mean.. thats peak literature
