I love how sassy Damen is, even at intimate moments like:
'After a long moment Laurent said, with painful honesty, "I...find it difficult to let go of control." "No kidding," said Damen.'
and

He could hear it even in the slave baths, muffled but audible, the sound ringing out from the highest peak, a peal of notes, proclaiming a new King.

Currently dealing with the worst case of artblock I've never had since at least 2 years but today I've managed to sketch a little Laurent and Damen ! Be nice, I'm all rusty and dealing with anxiety peaks as soon as I take my pen hahaha...
