also, isagi finds the weights you choose for your sets/reps cute. like not in a condescending manner, he GENUINELY thinks it’s adorable.

so when you propose trying to lift his weights when he’s done with them, he can’t help but to form into a puddle when he sees that it’s the machine lifting YOU rather than the other way around.

“what’s got you so smiley, huh?” you’d ask, once you spot how stars practically swim in his eyes.

as your boyfriend he thrives in being able to touch and hold you. and that doesn’t lessen when he’s training you. and he’s sooooo handsy.

i’m talking: fingertips resting on your waist when you’re doing pull-ups so he can “assist” you (there’s a kneepad resting thing so his help isn’t really necessary eee). the palm of his hand pressing into the small of your back when you’re doing lat pull downs.

when you’re slumped over the water fountain taking large sips, isagi likes to rest his hand on your nape. and his thumb would often times rub smooth, comforting circles onto the space of skin behind your ear.

Sigma was tired of always being used and discarded. For once, he just wanted someplace to call home. A place where he didn’t have to fear that eventually he would no longer be of use, and thrown away once more.

Was there something wrong with him? Why was this the hand he was dealt in life? I mean sure, he had you. But how long would it take until eventually, you threw him away like a piece of garbage as well? He sighed at the thought, he didn’t want to be reluctant with you.

This was all he’s ever known, though. He was too scared to bring up his worries and fears with you. Assuming he would just be a nuisance if he spoke up about his own, unimportant feelings.

Sigma was sitting in the corner with his knees bent to his chest. Arms wrapping around his legs, with his face plastered right in the middle. Trying to get a single moment of peace and quiet from Dazai’s insistent pestering. If he touched Sigma’s hair one last time without permission, he’s sure he would snap.

You see, you and Sigma were a packaged deal. So, when Dazai chose Sigma as his one tool to use as his ticket out of this prison, you were chosen as well. You both were completely dumbfounded, out of all the tools he could have picked on the table, he chose the two individuals that wanted no part in this whole sadistic game whatsoever.

Dazai was twirling you around for the millionth time now, making you really dizzy. On your fourth or fifth spin, you caught a glimpse of Sigma in the corner, face hidden away from your view. “Dazai, will you stop! You look like a jellybean when you spin around with me like this, and you’re making me nauseous!”

Dazai pulled away in feigned offense, but he ultimately obliged. Letting you go as he began dancing by himself, what a weird guy. You walked over to your other half slowly, kneeling down next to him before soothing over his locks gently. You felt him tense up. “Shh, it’s just me, love. What’s troubling you?”

He softened up at your voice, he thought it was Dazai for a moment and he was seriously about to lose his mind. Sigma slowly pulled his head up from beneath his arms, turning his face in your direction. He looked so distressed, it pulled at your heartstrings.

He sighed shakily before he spoke up. “What if we never make it out of here? What if Dazai is just bluffing, I don’t want to get my hopes up y/n. I can't help but feel as though I’ll be scrapped once more.” He averted his gaze from your own, before taking another shaky breath.

“What if… eventually you get sick of me too…” You took in a harsh breath of your own, your chest ached further as you moved your free hand up to cup his jaw. You pulled his gaze back up to yours, and he could see the tears welling up in your eyes.

“Sigma… please don’t talk like that. I love you so much, and I would never discard you like all of those awful people from your past. I’m putting my faith in Dazai. We will make it out of this alive, and I will be beside you the whole way.”

A single tear dribbled over your lash line, making Sigma’a heart crack at the sight. He needed to have more faith in you, after all, you were different from everyone else. You stuck up for him, even when you were scared yourself. No one has ever shown him so much love and care in his whole life.

He drew his hand up to your cheek, wiping away the stray tear before you spoke up once more. “Now, what can I do at this moment to make you feel more at ease?” You asked softly, mustering up a small smile to offer him. He gave you a tight-lipped smile of his own, taking one last breath before he spoke up.

"I could just use a hug."

Your grin widened as you grabbed ahold of Sigma’s free hand. Pulling him and yourself up from where you both were kneeling. His other hand was still pressed against your cheek lovingly. Without another word shared between the two of you, you pulled Sigma in for a hug.

The hand along your face slid further back to hold the nape of your neck gently. His other hand was still interlocked with your own as you wrapped your free arm around his waist. You kept him flush against yourself, as he slowly untangled his hand from your own. Moving it up to clutch your waist tightly.

He was holding onto your dear life, nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck as he let out a few shaky breaths. You moved your newly freed digits up Sigma’s back. Carding your fingers through his white and lavender locks softly. He smiled into your neck at the warm gesture.

“Feeling any better, love?” You whispered out, letting out a deep breath of your own that you didn’t even realize you were holding. Sigma simply nodded into your neck before pulling back slightly to gaze down at your face. “Yes… thank you y/n… I’m sorry for doubting you, and myself.”

You closed your eyes in contentment at his words and his actions. His thumb was caressing the nape of your neck so sweetly, it was comforting. You leaned closer into Sigma, lips nearly touching,

“Aww! I knew I made the right call when I chose the lovey-dovey couple! You two are prime entertainment~ ehe.” Dazai quipped out, ogling the two of you with his hands clasped together. He spun around to himself a few more times, making kissy faces at the two of you.

Sigma and yourself just shared a look, knowing exactly what the other was thinking before nodding in unison. Pulling away from one another slowly, before making your descent towards the jellybean himself.
