It didnât happen often but there were times when Jamie just needed to be on her own. Without a bunch of people around but even then, she didnât mind Greysonâs company. He was one of her favorite people for a reason. âYes! Another. Gimme all the shots!â She laughed softly, feeling a little dizzy but in a good, welcomed way. There was little doubt if she went walking across the room sheâd stumble into someone. Not that James would admit to being tipsy at this point. After half a beat she leaned forward, grinning. âDid you know I love this song?â
Being around Jamie was easy, it was relaxed. Heâd been around her so much that he had a level of comfort around her and he was honestly glad to be out with her at the moment. Getting the bartenders attention, Greyson ordered them both another shot, ordering himself whiskey on the rocks as well. It didnât take long for said bartender to whip up the drinks and set them in front of the pair. Picking up both the shots, Greyson handed one to Jamie and clinked his shot glass against hers. âI think weâre past a countdown at this point.â He added before downing the shot and setting it back on the bar, taking his whisky in his hand. He could feel the way his head felt a little light due to the alcohol in his system and honestly, thatâs exactly what he needed right now, thank you James Hardesty. âWhy do I feel like this is the part youâre gonna ask me to dance or try and get me to ask you to dance? You do know that Iâm a crap dancer, donât you?â Greyson teased. âIâd probably break your toes or something and believe me the more I drink the crappier I get at any type of grace I got.âÂ
The shot burned going down but she didnât mind. Jamie liked letting lose a bit, not that sheâd ever consider herself an uptight person. It was just... different but she supposed everyone was when they drank. In some way. At least she wasnât crying. Listening to him she couldnât help grinning. âBecause this is the part where I ask you to dance with me... and remind you that good dancer - crappy dancer it doesnât matter since the point is to have fun.. not be impressive.â In her opinion anyway, maybe everyone else on the planet thought it was only fun when you looked good doing it. She didnât know since half the time she just looked like a dork. âBesides, my toes could take it.â She told him, amusement in her tone as she playfully nudged him.
