What if Team Free Will saved a bird that was completely enamored with Castiel?
So, on a hunt Cas finds a raven with a broken wing and heals him. This bird upon seeing Casâs wings (special bird. IDK) thinks Cas is the prettiest bird he has ever seen. Even when he is let go, he keeps flying back to Cas and disrupting the hunt procedures. However, itâs okay because ravens are smart and he fetches the key to free everybody from a trap. Cas gives his puppy eyes and now Orion (the raven) is part of the team.
Orion is a menace to Dean and Dean alone. Heâll fetch a pen for Sam or let Cas pet his head but he actively bites and mistreats Dean when no one is looking. Orion is building a nest for him and Cas, so heâll occasionally pluck some of Deanâs hair because he always sees Cas looking at Dean. The bird assumes because since Deanâs hair is kinda shiny, Cas likes looking at it. He also engages behaviors like gift giving (he stole Deanâs bullets), special vocalizations (at 7 in the morning), and preening.
However, the last straw is when Orion purposely shits on the Impala. Dean is about to fry Orion but Cas defends Orion stating âBirds are ignorant of the personal value of cars.â.
So yeah, Dean is competing with a bird and heâs losing.
