Keto Update: So I’ve been getting a bunch of DMs asking about my keto journey and how it’s been sooo here we go — I am on my 4th month of being keto (started February 1st). I have lost 17-20 pounds so far and I lost that in my first month. (I stopped looking at the scale often because I don’t wanna be obsessive over it and it can be discouraging sometimes) — Since then, I have been all about managing/maintaining & way less strict with it because all I wanted to lose was 15 & tone to begin with. I am OBSESSED with this lifestyle and really don’t know if I ever plan on going back to eating “regular”. Even more than the weight/fat loss, I love the way I feel. More alert, focused, sleeping better etc. My clothes fit better & I have wayyy more energy. My cycles & cramps have even lightened up compared to how they used to be. I took my first real break/cheat time my brothers graduation weekend and indulged with my family and worked to get right back into ketosis that next Monday. I do intermitted fasting with it too, usually 16/8 and sometimes 20/4 if I wanna turn it up a bit. Long story short, the diet/lifestyle is amazing and even if you just try it for a month, I for sure recommend giving it a try just to see how your body responds!! — I tried to cover everything I’ve been asked but if you guys have any additional questions about it, drop them in the comments below and me or someone else who’s keto or has been can try to answer!!! 🏃🏾‍♀️ P.S.
