“Maybe it’s to stop a trans person getting hate” - if HBO gave two shits about protecting trans people then they’d do something about the unhinged level of vile transphobia Bella Ramsey and Emma D’Arcy get subjected to. They wouldn’t cast a notorious transphobe (James Dreyfus) to be in scenes with Emma in HOTD.
