JAIME RIOS
Basics Age:Â 29 Birthday: January 2nd Occupation: Employee at Pins Born:Â San Francisco? Resides: Sunnyside Trailer Park, Lockwood Springs â Â realistic, brave, adaptable â Â blameless, devious, distracted
Coming from a big family has it's ups and downs. The ups sometimes being harder to notice, especially when you're all squashed into a trailer while growing up. Jaime was only 14 when he moved with his siblings and mother to Sunnyside Trailer park from San Francisco.
Jenny Price was a known addict and her second husband wasn't the nicest guy in the world either, or maybe it was her third? With five children all from different fathers it was hard to tell what would make Jenny ever settle down, but Jaime has never seen his brothers and sisters as anything but family.
A year after settling into Lockwood Springs, Jaime and his siblings were all separated into care. They were sent in and out on a bungee rope whenever their mother cleaned up her act but then fell right back into old habits.
Not knowing what a real home felt like, Jaime was angrier at the system for not allowing him to stay with his brothers or sisters and it made him over protective about remaining with them. This got even worse when their sister took her life five years ago. The note she left everyone explained the reasons why, further proving to Jaime that staying together was all the more important.
Jaime still lives in a trailer with his older brother, ironically neighbors with their mother who they ignore for the most part. He's never managed to keep a job for long but recently began working for Pins. Sometimes he resorts to petty crimes to help pay the bills.
Heâs been known to the local law enforcement well but he quickly learned that his temper was no match for jail. Being angry was different to actually being aggressive. He was locked up at the same time as Kas, who had to keep stepping in to help him.
Like his older brother, Jaime has a mean streak and can flip at seemingly nothing. It takes longer for him to get there these days because the last thing he wants to do is go back to jail. A lot of his energy goes into ensuring his younger sister is okay, or checking in on his siblings the best he can. Heâs overly paranoid that life is out to get all of them but he has no clue if thatâs just their destiny or if it can be changed.
