Dominant dragon on knight?
ended up being a dragon girl [and also incredibly rough] but
For all the artists out there
Youre telling me I threw away 10 dollar markers FOR NOTHING
REBLOG to save a life and a wallet!
Plus copics are actually refillable and you can buy more colored ink online for pretty cheap! So yeah dont throw out copics.
Omg that hurts me that people threw away such expensive markers. Omg. I have like $400 worth of those things
The fact that they’re refillable is something I really want to stress, here!
Copics are very pricey upfront, but a refill costs around the same price as the marker. That single refill can fill your marker up like, 10 times.
So lets say you pay $5 per marker. If you toss them and replace them, there goes $55 per color.
If you were to just refill them, you’re out of pocket like, $10 by comparison.
The nibs are also replaceable!
Reblog to save an artist
@silver-kitsuneneko
My favorite place to get ink refills is Imagination International. They have every color of Copic available and each size including a bunch of accessories. A bottle of ink has about five refills (at least) goes for $9. So you could spend $35 on five different markers or $14 for one and bottle of ink. BONUS: They also sell IC screentone! Their variety is huge, the sheets are large (10x14 at least), and the prices are fair! I’ve really been enjoying IC’s stuff. HERE’S A LINK TO THEIR WEBSITE QUICK LINK TO THEIR COPIC STORE QUICK LINK TO THEIR IC STORE (home of many traditional manga supplies) Shipping is fair and fast, and their website also serves as a remarkable resource for artists who need tips or just want to print out some coloring pages. Side note: They’re based in Eugene, OR, too, which is home to my alma mater and makes me love them even more! (Go Ducks!)
Imagine how you might feel if your wildest and most wonderful fantasies were brought to life. That’s probably how a child would feel if their drawings of strange and wondrous characters were turned into real-life plush toys, which is exactly what Budsies does.
Budsies takes children’s drawings and reinterprets them as 16-inch-tall hypoallergenic plush toys – but they’ll take playful adults’ drawings, too.
NO DON’T GIVE THIS TO TUMBLR USERS THIS IS A GRAVE MISTAKE
CAN PEOPLE OF ALL AGES DO THIS
BECAUSE IMAGINE IF AN ARTIST WANTED A PLUSH OF THEIR OC
THEY’D HAVE THEIR OWN PLUSH OF THEIR OC
THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME
YES!
via their facebook
welp i know what i want for my birthday oops
They do a super great job, I got a plush made of my girlfriend’s OC, I would always recommend this as a gift.
the notes are broken 😂
Reblogging partly for awesome computer shortcuts, and partly because I wish to once again take part in a Post That Broke The Notes.

More How To Draw Manga - Vol. 4: Mastering Bishoujo Characters
this might be useful for me later
Got the amazing @hernyart to draw some obscure characters! This one is Peridot from Puchi Carat. Puchi Carat is a 1997 Breakout-style puzzle game developed by Taito on the Taito F3 System. Like with many Taito games, quite a lot of care was put into the character art, design, and animation. The gameplay is simple, but fun - you direct the ball based on the location on the paddle the ball hits, and gain combos by disconnecting large portions of the gems from the top of the screen (which anchors the gems above the stage).
Fun Fact: Interestingly enough, many of the characters in Puchi Carat are named after the stone they hold. This is not dissimilar to Steven Universe - for example, the character on the right in the screen shot is named Garnet.
Peridot herself is a very suggestive character, much more so than all of the other characters - which I thought might make her a fun character to commission. I don’t tend to post on Tumblr much, but I don’t see the point in commissioning obscure character art unless I share it.
drawing fat bodies
i deleted the previous ask because my internet wasnt uploading the images correctly, here it is again.
i tend to draw fat bodies with most of the weight/fat being balanced in the stomach/upper thighs, thats kind of where it settles for me. dont be afraid of drawing stomachs that actually stick out!!
i think its good to remember theres a lot more flesh on fat bodies, and that flesh can accumulate in a lot of different ways. sometimes legs and arms can be very skinny and the stomach area is more fat. sometimes its evenly distributed and theres a lot of fat on the arms and legs.
thats it i guess? i think its also good to actually look at real life bodies and just.. look at how weight is distributed, because its always different.
Please do a tutorial for hair I'm so bad at it
i feel ya’
so this is what i learned from mistakes
ok so imma go for the most common “ya better not do that”’s that i notice sometimes
#1
Don’t make hair this plane
gIVE IT VOLUME!!!
don’t draw the hair sticked to the head shape, idk if i explain myself. Have u seen those drawings on Deviantart where some people uses bases???? >>> like this <<< yeah don’t do that, both hair and clothes…don’t
In my art style i tend to draw the hair in parts. It’s obviously not necessary, DON’T BE AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT.
#3
Don’t make the hair fuzzy like, I see this specially long hair. Remember is long hair, LONG HAIR.
#4
Hair has place where it starts and where it ends growing. I recommend to draw the limits before drawing hair if u feel u have problems with it
#5
GIVE YOUR DRAWINGS A FOREHEAD.
….there’s not much to say about this one tbh, but remember to give them a forehead!!! it really affects when you draw hair, or at least in my opinion
ONE LAST TIP:
U S E R E F E R E N C E S!!!!
i know i know, is a pain in the butt to hear this all time, bUT IMMA TELL YOU A GOOD SOURCE OF REFERENCES THAT HELPED ME ALOT TO IMPROVE DRAWING HAIR, LIKE, ALOT
ANIME
OK SO HEAR ME OUT
Even if you’re not a fan of anime u should check out some pictures or watch a mainstream or whatever anime, I understand there’s people who are totally not into it and even hate it, but if you really want to improve drawing hair you should give it try. Study the way the hair looks, There’s obviously animes where the hair is super detailed but just check the simple things
ex.
(Durarara,,,, 100000% would recommend tbh)
here’s a pic where you can see the basic form the hair has. Try imitating (not copying) the hair style, you can add more volume, make it a bit shorter, do whatever you want!!!! You can try drawing the hair style in your art style, it helps, believe me!!! it obviously won’t be perfect at the first try, it’s all about practice
If you really decide to not give it a try, check your favorite artists. If there’s someone you really admire, study the way they draw hair and try imitating it.
As you can see i’m not the best explaining….sorry bout that, but i hope i helped at least a bit
Here are some examples of hair!

please giv tips on how to propperly take care of your partners breasts
It’s gonna differ from person to person but I like, like, massage-esque stuff. Push in gently with palms from underneath, press in with fingers etc. Jade likes her curves + my fingertips more. So yeah just do stuff till you find something they like,

Really, the difference between angels and [monster people with wings on their backs] seems to hinge on one being a lot scruffier than the other.
