“Oh, you meant walking.” Scoffing, he commented, “Regardless of my career choices, quicker is always better, obviously.”

All he could manage to do in response to the manager’s reaction was smirk - possibly laugh, even, but he withheld it. Having Jaehyun be snappy and exposed, opposed from donning his usual happy facade, was far more entertaining and easier to deal with. “No need to get so defensive, head chef, I was just securing quality control around here.” – which he happened to beamazingly skilled at doing, himself.

Glancing at him before looking out the window, Lucian said, “Do what you need to do, but don’t call me a snake, you ass.” There wasn’t a particularly harsh undertone to his words; rather, it was more playful than anything, really. “However, you’re free to give me the key and leave, though.” Returning his gaze to the other, he concluded, “Your choice.”

Without knowing, Jaehyun pouts at how Lucian doesn’t seem to catch how oh-so-romantic the walk would be. Well, he should’ve seen it coming. “Whatever suits your fancy, mr. efficient.”

His left eye twitched, mind questioning whether or not had he spoke defensively earlier. Because to be honest, while he could’ve sworn his stuff is guaranteed poison free, he couldn’t prove his worth of the head chef title either. Especially not with the annoying smirk and confidence. “Your slytherin is showing. And what did I say about teasing? Geez,” a hint of embarrassment present when he mumbled a protest. It made him soft, his supposedly-tough-image hates it.

         “let’s get on it then, shall we?” malee grinned and nodded her head in the direction of the tray, before sneakily making her way through the tons of drunk people. “how about letting loose for one night? a few shots won’t hurt, will it?” 

“Certainly,” He responded casually. The truth is, Jaehyun knew he shouldn’t take any more of the alcoholic drinks. The remaining sober in him advised so, but of course the opposing side wins. “It’s not like I can say no if it’s you, anyway.”

           like with most things, hoon was a bit more reserved when it comes to drinking. just the mere thought of losing himself and causing an even more larger man made mess was enough to hinder him from drinking one too many glasses. however, he does love peach soju and so he found himself drinking a lot more than usual.  ❝ really? ❞ he asked, flipping over the samgyupsalthat he was grilling.  ❝ i’m afraid you won’t find me very entertaining, hyung. ❞ he confessed, feeling sorry. 

          "Yes.“ He replied simply, glancing around the room. "The music, the clothing, how people dance, it’s drastically different than it was even a decade ago.” He stated, glancing at the younger out of the corner of his eye at the compliment. “Are you brown-nosing?”

         “i can’t say i love parties, but i don’t hate them, but in all honesty i’d rather stick to the corner of the room and place bets on who’s gonna throw up first,” donghyun gazed around the room, watching the countless drunk people dance so awkwardly to some songs. “what do you think about that person there? how long till they’re out?” 

Jaehyun couldn’t help but giving Donghyun a suspecting look, thinking that maybe the boy had him as the bet subject in the previous events. It didn’t last long though, since he’d rather to say nasty things about others, of course. “Hmm, my alcohol radar says that he has a low alcohol tolerance,” He took a glance at his watch, comically shook his head, “Less than ten minutes. The poor soul better know his limits.”

         “so, if you’re up for doing shots, there’s a full tray over there waiting for us and calling our names and i’m so down,” malee motioned over to the tray full of shots, a slight grin on her face. “what do you say?” 

“You don’t need to ask me on this matter, the answer is obvious.” His eyes glanced towards the mentioned tray, resulting a playful smirk. He sounded too lenient just now, opposing to what he should've reacted given his job. But again, it’s Malee and she’s not one of his responsibility. “I’d be the typical strict manager but hey, first thing first!”

                   ( xx ) as the lights went black, seyong’s chest heaved ( proof of the effort he had just put out on the stage ) he was always a hard worker and put his all into eros’ stages, but this was his own song that he had put months of work into. from doing everything he could to convince the company to let him release something on his own, to skipping out on sleep to work on the choreography late at night. and now that he was finally able to perform it live was something that he put his all into. he quickly walked off stage, grabbing a towel and water bottle from a table before smiling at the other “well? what did you think?”

He had his head on the clouds, didn’t realize he was staring if not because of Seyong’s voice bringing him back to reality. It’s just that he was being a bit nostalgic, remembering how long has it been since he was being a fan of Eros. He was such an embarrassing fanboy back then, oh god. “What did you expect coming from my mouth except praises? Eros is like, my favorite group, but it’s not for nothing.” he gave the other man a genuine clap, a bit restrained as he didn’t want to sound like an obvious fans. “Your dance was always on point! I wish I could do that.” he laughed.
