Im editing this YA novel for my job and I keep seeing really weird spelling errors like "Greak" instead of "Greek" and "freek" instead of "freak" and i asked the author if this was a creative choice because its so consistent and he insisted that was how those words were spelled and I said what? No. Thats not true. And he said yes it is. In the world of the novel. And im like uh. Okay that qualifies as being a creative choice so you could have just said yes. And he said that its his last book anyways I could basically do whatever I wanted with it and he'd probably just push it out to publishing anyways. So im like okay let's see what we can put in here..

Yes, it really did look like this, but imagine it packed with people all shopping for clothes and gag gifts and posters and toys and hitting the food court and discovering magic eye posters and rain-noise sticks and finding a new candy store at the food court and throwing pennies into the fountain before grabbing an impulse Orange Julius and see moms checking toe room on Payless shoes.
