Started season two of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years. Right away it’s noticeable how this show was handled by a different studio. Not that the first season looked bad, mind you. But it wasn’t particularly amazing animation either. S2 looks a bit better by comparison.

It’s also pretty funny how the goddess that reincarnated the main character ended up being demoted because of her eclectic preferences.

I do have one legitimate issue with how Amazon Prime does their subtitling as I watched Ghost in the Shell and that is how stupid fast they flash text on screen that is meant to localize any Japanese text. The first episode alone, which contained world-building exposition at the start, presented title cards in Japanese on screen longer than the subtitles by comparison.

While Crunchyroll is getting up there in terms of being a shit company by way of their upper management nonsense, I still believe they would have done much better than Amazon.
