too sensitive for this life, too cowardly to end it

i read a lot of harrymort and steter instead of drarry and sterek when i was young and it comes out in my personality

god knew i’d be too powerful if i didn’t chronically push ppl away when i needed them the most

i’m convinced that love is when your monsters match and that’s why you always get along with people who hate the same people you do

guys i hate institutions. can we have academia without the vulture-like institutions that suck all the intellect out of research so they can bend down to greedy capitalists and power hungry bureaucrats? like … is that possible?

i have zero patience these days for ppl who say shit like “humans are inherently selfish” and “ppl don’t do things unless they get something out of it” cuz u think ppl showing up to fight ice with their bare hands down in la or the students getting expelled for protesting a genocidal racist colonialist regime are doing this cuz they’re selfish?? go out and have some basic human connection for once dude

so what’re u supposed to do when u have no idea what’s going on and u have absolutely zero will to figure it all out but u have to or you’ll end up left behind by society

there’s not enough poems that describe the heartbreak you feel when you break someone else’s heart
