apparently there's an asset in Tomodachi Life Living the Dream that looks like it was poorly upscaled from its 3DS counterpart

it annoys the hell out of me that a game going for sixty dollars in the us has assets that look like utter vomit i really hope that it gets changed in an update but considering that it was revealed that the game was in development hell for a decade... it feels unlikely

#this is speculation on my part but i think the reason why this happened is because the 3ds image is an edit of a smoking spaceman tin robot #potentially due to copyright on the design #and because they didn't have a high quality version of that edit #they upscaled it for ltd #btw notice how i didn't say anything about ai up until now #any kind of image scaling algorithm can't make a 3ds quality image look high quality #and my main point isn't about them (potentially) using ai #it's how shit it looks here #that doesn't mean ai is good #fuck ai #time for tags #tomodachi life #tomodachi life ltd #tomodachi life living the dream #nintendo #rant
