Solar (Mamamoo)
Wc - 16,200 Song (You are a really famous live streamer, like a pretty huge deal, who is hiding the fact that you're dating one of the biggest names in the music industry..)
"Live"
"Hmm, which one was it that they said you could make your own weapon..?" You mumbled to yourself as you scrolled through the online video game library.
"Hey! What are you doing..?" You turned around and were greeted with the face you adored the most.
"Nothing much, just looking through all the games my viewers have recommended me." You answered her as you stretched your arms out towards her.
"Ah, I see" she answered as she moved to sit in your lap.
"What time are you leaving..?" You asked her as you held her tightly in your arms.
"Hmm in a little bit, I have a couple more background vocals to record then I have to sit through meetings to discuss all the promotions. Then I have to go meet with a representative from some giant food company." Yong-sun answered you as she closed her eyes and let out a small sigh.
"Busy day for you." You looked at her face and moved some of her hair behind her ear. "But that means I'll see your face even more whenever I leave the house."
She pouted and look at you with tired eyes, "I know, but I'm so sleepy. I just want to call in sick."
"Hey no, this isnt the Yong-sun I know." You joked with her, "But foreal, I'm proud of you. Look at how far you've come... Wow my girlfriend is a famous singer, who would've thought that a couple years ago..?" You lightly squeezed her cheek.
"Oh yeah cause you're one to talk miss 'streamer'." She said with over exaggerated air quotes.
"Hey now, I enjoy what I do. I'm just grateful I get paid for it." You told her then gave her sad eyes as she began to get up.
"When do you have to do that photo-shoot for that new game you're endorsing..?" She asked as she grabbed your hand to pull you up.
"Hmm... I honestly don't know" You looked to the side as you tried racking your memory, "I think this Thursday, but I could be wrong. Why..?" You asked as you followed her out of your Office.
"Because the girls all want to take you out for dinner to congratulate you." She answered you as she walked into your shared bedroom.
"Oh really? Hmm well tell Hyejin not to spoil anything, I can't deal with another one of my favorite dishes being sold out again... all over the country too.." You said as you sat on the bed still sulking over the fact that you had to wait an entire week to eat one of your favorite meals with friends because the sudden popularity in the dish spiked due to Hyejin.
Yong-sun laughed as she threw on one of your hoodies, "I'll make sure she doesn't mention any food to our fans, also don't tell me you're still upset over that?? She bought you a week's worth of Gopchang because she felt so bad." she walked over to you and laid down next to you.
"How is that even possible..?" you mumbled as you turned to lay on your side, "She only ate it for one segment on the show then she caused it to sell out Nationwide." You pouted, "I should've never shown her my favorite restaurant. I had to wait two weeks just to get a table. And I know the owner" You let out a small Huff which made Yong-sun laugh again.
"Oh gosh you're so adorable" She pinched your cheeks, "But didn't the owner thank you for bringing Hyejin over which caused her to really like the restaurant..?"
You thought back to the whole craze and smiled, "Yeah she did, she said 'Ah thank you for bringing your friend here. She was on that show and the next day we were packed.'" You looked Yong-sun in the eyes, "Then she said she was finally able to pay off her daughter's tuition for the rest of the school year. So at least it had a positive outcome for her."
Yong-sun looked you in the eyes, "Don't think I don't know what you did next.."
"Huh..? What did I do??" You asked her as you honestly couldn't remember.
"You seriously don't remember..?" She asked you, at the shake of your head she continued, "You seriously don't remember donating school uniforms to her daughter then paying for the rest of her upcoming school years tuition. And you even set up a scholarship for her future. Wow you help so many people it's hard for you to remember everything you do."
You blushed at the sincere compliment, "Oh yeah that was her. Wow that wasn't even that long ago either. How could I forget..?" You questioned as you sat up.
"Because you help so many people, I mean you're literally about to do another charity stream." Yong-sun sat with her legs criss cross as she looked at you with a proud smile. "You've helped so many people through hard times, you have a heart of gold. It's one of the many reasons I'm in love with you." She leaned over to give you a hug.
"Yeah but it just sucks that we can't tell anyone about us." You said quietly.
"Hey no it's okay, right now you're helping a lot of people, including me, you don't need to share every detail of your life to the public." She spoke like the leader you knew her to be.
"Yeah but you are what causes my happiness and it sucks that we have to hide this." You pulled away to gesture to everything around you. "I mean we've been living together for the past three years and people still believe you live in the same building Byulyi does."
Yong-sun pulled away to study your eyes, "Hey we'll talk about this more later. I have to leave now. Okay..?"
"Okay" you nodded your head.
She got up and you followed her out to the living room. "I'll see you when I get home." She smiled at you.
"Oh wait" You stopped her from putting her shoes on. You ran to the kitchen and pulled out the meals you had prepared for her. "I made you something." You placed the lunch bag in her hands.
"Oh thank you" Yong-sun looked at you with all the love in her eyes. "I'll make sure to make you something tasty for dinner."
You smiled and shook your head, "There's no need. I made a reservation at the new restaurant that opened up down the street."
"Wow I seriously am the luckiest woman alive." She smiled at you.
The two of you exchanged goodbyes and you made sure to watch her walk down the hallway until she got on the elevator.
A small meow and a tail hitting your leg caused you too look down. "Oh hey fatty, finally waking up..? Your other mom already left." You bent down to pick your cat up. "Ah aura what are we going to do with you." You giggled as you closed the door.
Aura was the cat you and Yong-sun bought from the same breeder Wheein got ggomo. But instead of being orange and white, Aura was gray and very fluffy.
"You hungry, fatty..?" You asked her. She meowed at you and you took that as a yes. "Okay let's feed you." After making sure Aura had enough food and water you returned to your office.
Your phone buzzed in your pocket, it was a text and picture from Yong-sun.
"I made it into the car... only 10 more hours until I can see you again.."
You smiled to yourself and answered her back, "I'll be counting down the seconds ♡"
You sat down in your chair and checked any emails you had from sponsors and your manager.
"Okay that's all taken care of" you said to yourself after an hour had passed of you communicating back and forth with different representatives from different video game companies. You got up and cracked your knuckles.
You walked into your room and got some clothes so you could take a brisk shower before getting ready to film.
As you brushed your teeth you looked through your phone. "Hmm.." You took a quick picture in the mirror of you making a goofy face with your tooth brush in your mouth.
"Going live in 20"
You uploaded the picture to all of your social profiles, and not even two seconds later you were already getting flooded with notifications.
You finished brushing your teeth then washed your face before finally getting presentable. You walked to your closet and picked out the shirt your manager told you not to forget. It had the logo of one of your most recent sponsors, the same ones who had sent you your new chair.
"Okay, mic is on, camera 1.." You reached behind the camera that was sitting on your desktop and turned it on, "On... camera 2.." You turned to the side and turned the camera that sits on your desk on. "On.. okay everything should be ready." You turned around to make sure all of your decorative lights were on.
Your phone buzzed again and it was a message from Yong-sun. "Have fun on your Live stream, we have a twenty minute break so the girls and I will be watching you!!"
Your heart swelled with joy at the support Yong-sun had always made sure to give you.
"Thank you, that means a lot"
You filled a glass of water up and placed it on your desk. "Okay let's go" You cleared your throat and opened up all the programs you needed. You watched the loading screen for the game you would be playing.
You faced the camera above your desktop then started the live stream.
You started with your usual smile and wave then began to talk. "Hello you wonderful human, I am back with another early live stream, the second one this week" You held up two fingers, "and we have three more days to go." You made a fist gesture and smiled even brighter as comments started to flood in, "Remember this week all donations will be going to a charity. Now" You got up and walked over to the side to pick up a poster board that had the images of five different charity organizations from around the country. "We have already done the charity for school students in need and now today" You made a drum roll noise with your mouth as you tapped on the board. "We will be streaming for 'Save the Children'." You peeled off the piece of paper that was covering the image. "But!!" You held up a finger towards the camera, "I will also be matching the amount donated to help donate to our firefighters. So whatever amount we raise today for the children, I will be matching each cent and donate it to our firefighters." You set the poster board down and watched as donations started to come in. Then the username that you knew was Yong-sun made a huge donation.
"Alright then" you clapped your hands, "Let me just remind you all that if you cannot donate that is fine, just make sure to help someone today after this stream is over." You smiled at the camera, "Let's get started!!"
Your more typical live streams lasted anywhere from an hour to sometimes two, but for this event you were doing you were set on doing five hour live streams purely for the charity donations.
You spent the five hours playing the game, inviting some of your viewers to play with you, and then answering questions people had about the game.
"Alright wow!" You exclaimed as you saw you had already reached the five hours. "This was fun, I hope you all had fun too. Now I will be closing the donations and we will see how much we managed to raise." You smiled as wide as possible and tears filled your eyes as you saw the amount, "Wow I can't believe you guys, I'm so proud." The final number flashed on the screen for everyone to view, "Ten Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty Seven dollars was raised for 'Save the Children'. Wow I am so happy right now, we almost beat the record for our highest donation yet. So.." You smiled at the camera as you typed, "I will be donating an extra four and seventy three dollars." You watched as the comments flooded your screen and smiled. "Also I will be matching this very amount to donate to our firefighters. I just want to thank everyone who donated today, you are helping make a difference in our world." You clapped with a smile. "Alright well it's time for me to go and don't forget, the highlights from this stream will be uploaded to my Channel later tonight and it will be subbed in all of the usual languages. So to those of you all around the world," You named a couple different countries from around the world, "Even if we're aren't near each other you are all in my heart. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you do good things today!! Remember, I love you and you're important, bye bye!!" You waved at the camera until you stopped the live stream.
Immediately after the screen turned black your phone rang, it was Yong-sun.
"You raised eleven thousand dollars!!! I'm so proud of you, you basically have all of us in tears over here."
You laughed into the phone, "Hey I only wish we could've raised more. I just hope the charity is happy. But let me call you back in a little bit my manager is calling, we need to sign all the paper work."
"Oh of course, I just couldn't wait to congratulate you, the girls all send their cheers.. Bye!!" She hung up and you couldn't help smiling even brighter.
You quickly got your shoes on and answered your manager as you left the house. "Yes I'm on my way, Okay so give me like fifteen minutes. Alright bye" You hung up and made your way downstairs where there was a driver already waiting for you. "Hello" you greeted the driver with a smile and he politely bowed and opened the door for you.
You got into the car and checked twitter. Your name was currently trending as people still couldn't believe what just happened. As usual there were the people who were excited and then those who were skeptical about if the money was really going to the charity, which made you laugh because you would never lie about anything like that.
"These internet people get paid so much money, that amount of money is like nothing to them"
"This has to be a scam, no one cares this much about other people"
"Watch the charities not even get the money"
"I bet she's keeping half of the money"
"This is all for views"
"How does this scammer even have any fans?"
"This girl was raised will a silver spoon in her mouth, this amount of money is nothing for her kind"
"You can't please everyone.." You reminded yourself quietly as you scrolled through all the messages.
~
"I'm not getting paid until next week so we have to make the most out of what is in the pantry. I'm sorry baby, I know you're a growing kid but times are hard, we have to make due where possible. Your father doesn't come home until next month." Your mom said as she struggled to hide the tears welling up in her eyes.
"It's okay Mom, you need to eat more than I do. I'll find a way to help you, don't worry about it." You gave your mom a tight hug, heart breaking in the process as you heard your mother cry. _
"Are you sure you can handle it? You're pretty young.."
"I'm sure I can do it." You answered firmly.
"Alright then, all the cleaning supplies are in this closet, make sure the practice rooms are super clean and the mirrors are all wiped down. And if you need anything you know where to find me."
You had found an ad listing for a night cleaning job at an entertainment company called Rainbow Bridge World, and as a teenager you would take any job you could to help your mom and dad.
You knocked on the first door in the hallway and no one seemed to be inside so you walked in and proceeded to clean. "Wow I've only seems these kinds of rooms in videos. They're a lot more compact than I expected."
After you cleaned the first practice room you moved to the second one. You knocked softly again and when no one answered you walked in.
"Okay so it took me twenty minutes to clean the first room and there's this one and two other ones left. So I should be done in a little over an hour.. that plus the twenty minutes it takes to get home... yeah I should get about four hours of sleep for school.." You spoke to yourself as you rolled the cleaning cart into the room.
The sound of sniffling made you pause and look around the room. There was a girl, she seemed a few years older than you, in the corner with her knees against her chest and her head buried in her hands.
"Ah" you stared in shock, "I'm sorry I didn't think anyone was in here, I'll leave now." You spoke softly as to not scare the girl.
The girl sniffled one more time then looked up at you to shake her head.
"wow she's so pretty.." You whispered to yourself as the two of you made eye contact.
The girl heard you and smiled softly, "No it's okay, I was about to leave anyways."
"Ah okay" you sent her a small smile. "I hope your night gets better." Your voice was gentle with genuine care for the stranger.
She laughed a little and got up to gather her belongings, "Thank you, that means a lot."
You noticed how heavy she was breathing and the beads of sweat sliding down the sides of her face and down her neck. You shook your head to stop staring and got started on wiping the mirrors down.
You saw the girl staring at you through the mirror, a curious glint in her eyes. "How old are you..?" She asked, breaking the silence in the room.
You turned around to face her, "Oh I'm um.." you stared to the side as you tried remembering. "Sixteen, but my birthday is next week."
"Hmm, I'm only three years older than you.." She said quietly. "Is it okay if I sit in here while you clean, I don't feel like going home. Plus it would be nice to have some company" She said as she stood next to the door. "You have a calming presence around you."
"Oh yeah, I don't mind. You probably know this place better than I do." The girl raised an eyebrow, "It's my first day here."
"Ah okay, well hi, I'm Kim Yong-Sun." She walked over to you and stuck her hand out in a friendly manner.
"Oh hi Yong-sun.." You told her your name then shook her hand.
The two of you exchanged smiles then she went back to sit near the door as you started cleaning again.
"So what are you doing working a late night job when you're still super young. Don't you have school..?" She asked you.
"Hmm.." You ponder if you should tell her, she seemed harmless so you went ahead and just talked to her comfortably. "My parents need help with money, my mom doesn't know I'm here. I'm going to save up for a month and give her the money. She thinks I'm studying at a friends house."
"Oh wow.." She watched you curiously as you made sure to leave the mirror spotless, "How far do you live from here..?"
"Um about twenty minutes, ten if I ride the bus, but they're not out this late."
So for the rest of the night the young girl you met followed you to every room and talked to you, and to be honest, you enjoyed her presence just as much as she enjoyed yours.
You were almost finished with the last room when you decided to ask her a question. "If you don't mind me asking, why were you crying earlier..? It's alright if you don't want to answer me and I'm sorry if I crossed a line, I just want to make sure you're okay." You looked down at the floor then back up to meet her eyes, "I don't like when people are sad, if there's anything I can do to make you feel better please let me know."
Yong-sun smiled to herself and looked at you, "It's stupid. Just trainee stuff.."
"Oh.." you hummed then walked over to the speakers in the room and wiped them down.
Yong-sun played with her fingers before letting out a small sigh. Eyes shut tightly she began to speak again, "It's because I gained weight these past few weeks and our monthly evaluation was today. I was told if I don't lose what I gained I might get kicked from the company/" She opened her eyes too look at the mirrors on the other side of the room, "So I stayed here after everyone left and just kept practicing. I didn't even realize how late it got until you walked in the room.." She spoke softly as she spilled her truth to you.
You looked at her with an eyebrow raised trying to figure out where there was any weight to lose. "This is why I don't like companies like this... very judgmental.." You shook your head, "One of My favorite artist currently is the group 2ne1 and the amount of times I've heard people harshly judge them and call the group ugly makes me mad. They're just four talented girls doing what makes them happy. Why does the world have to be so judgmental..?"
Yong-sun stared at you as you continued on with your mini rant.
"I just really love the group and the four members with how talented they are, especially Park Bom, her voice is so beautiful. She hits those high notes like it's nothing. She makes it seem effortless.." You continued on talking about 2ne1 as Yong-sun listened with all her attention. You didn't know but she also liked 2ne1.
You finished cleaning the room then rolled the cart back down to the closet. Yong-sun followed behind you as you were both in the middle of a conversation.
"I have to find the person who let me in and tell them I'm done." You told her as you closed the door.
"Okay I'll wait for you at the entrance." She walked away before you could tell her she didn't have to wait for you.
"Hmm... she's wow..." You watched her then shook your head as you walked to the office of the person you first spoke to.
"She's actually waiting for me.." You spoke quietly as you walked out of the hallway.
It was at least fifteen minutes later because the person wanted to check all the rooms. You got complimented and were officially hired.
"Hey you're back.." Yong-sun said with a smile when you appeared.
"You should've just gone ahead and went home.." You told her shyly as you picked up your bag you left with the front desk worker.
She shook her head, "I'm not letting a sixteen year old walk home alone at night." She walked out the door and you followed her.
"What?? No you have to get home. It's going to take a while to get to my house, and plus I'll be seventeen next week." You over exaggerated the eye roll that came after you spoke.
"Where do you live..?" She asked you as she walked down the steps.
When you told her where you lived she smiled, "Perfect, I live like five minutes from there. C'mon" She gestured for you to follow her.
"Um, fine.." You said quietly when you realized you weren't going to win this battle.
"It's pretty late, is your mom really going to believe you were out studying with a friend..?" Yong-sun asked you as you made your way down the deserted streets.
You turned to look at her and shrugged, "I'm not sure... She's usually asleep by now since she has to wake up at four in the morning to go to work.." You spoke quietly as you watched the shadows from the buildings up ahead.
"Oh wow, that's early.." Yong-sun said.
You hummed quietly as the two of you walked in a comfortable silence.
You had made it to your house and Yong-sun spoke up first, "Do you have a phone number..?"
"Huh..?" You tilted your head.
Yong-sun quickly shook her head, "Not in like a flirtatious way or anything." She scrunched her nose which made you laugh, "You're a little bit older than these two girls in the company who train alongside me and I think you three could be good friends."
"Oh" You nodded with your mouth slightly opened, "And no I don't have one." You shook your head.
"Oh well I'll figure out a way to introduce you three." She smiled at you, "I feel like you three would get along really well."
You smiled back at her, "Well I cannot wait to meet these new friends, but sadly I probably won't be able to hangout with them as much as you would wish we could."
She shook her head, "No trust me, they stay really busy too but we could all use at least some distractions during our hectic lives."
You hummed as you watched the way her lips curved up into a smile that showed her teeth, "Yeah that is true. Well I'll just have to see how this whole situation pans out."
Yong-sun walked you up the steps to the front door of the apartment building, "Okay we'll figure it out, but you should really go in now it's getting really late. What time do you have to be up for school..?"
You stopped in front of the door as you dug your key out of your bag, "I wake up whenever my mom does just to make sure she takes food with her then I get about another hour of sleep. So I'm usually out of the house by five-thirty."
Yong-sun eyes grew wide in surprise, "Five thirty in the morning..?"
You smiled as sleepiness started to take over and you couldn't hold back a yawn, "Yeah there's this older lady who lives a couple streets over who I help get groceries for every morning." Another yawn escaped as you blinked and shook your head, "She owns a food cart that is pretty popular around here and she pays me well. Plus I like to keep her company during the early hours before customers show up."
"Wow so then what time do you head to your school..?" She asked you with nothing but genuine curiosity in her voice.
You tilted your head to the side, "Usually around eight. From her food cart to my school it's like a twenty minute walk."
"Wow" Yong-sun stared at you, "You work hard for someone this young.."
You smiled and shook your head, "You speak like you're way older than me, you're the same age as my late sister.." Before you realized what you said it was too late. "Oh.. um I'm sorry. Not that it's a bad thing I just.. hmm"
Yong-sun looked shocked as she took in what you said, but seeing as you were trying to change the subject she didn't bring it up, "Well according to some people I'm quite childlike" She gave you a small smile as she tried to read the look on your face.
Thankful that she changed the subject you sighed in relief. "Well thank you for walking me home, I should really get going now."
"Okay, I'll see you soon." She smiled as you opened the door.
"You have a great night Yong-sun," You smiled back at her through the door.
She waved at you and made sure to stay there until you closed the door.
You made it to your room in silence and sat on your bed as you thought back to all your conversations of the night with your new friend, similarly your new friend was also sitting on her bed wondering why she couldn't sleep as all she could do was picture your smile.
You woke up to the sound of shuffling on the other side of your door, you opened your eyes to look at the clock on your wall. It was four fifteen, you quickly go out of bed and opened the door to your room. Your mom was in the kitchen as she just stared at the empty pantry. You went back into your room and opened one of your drawers, you had some food that the older lady you work for gave you. You grabbed some of the packaged snacks and walked out to your mom.
"Here mom, make sure you eat this." You told her as you handed her the snacks.
You mom looked up at you in shock through tired eyes, "No this is yours, you need to eat so you can grow strong."
You shook your head and firmly put the food in her hands, "You need to eat more than I do." 'I'm trying mom, I'm really trying,' you tried holding back tears as your thoughts filled your mind.
Your mom sighed then took the food without putting up another fight, "Okay, only because my beautiful daughter is the one giving me this." You noticed the pain in your mom's eyes and just knew she was thinking about your sister.
"I'll see you tomorrow morning, I won't get home until late tonight again. I have to study more tonight." You told your mom as you followed her to the front door.
"Okay just make sure you eat and don't overwork yourself. Stay safe, okay..?" Your mom gave you a hug before putting her shoes on.
"Okay mom, make sure you don't overwork yourself either." You and your mom exchanged goodbyes and you watched as she left for work.
You went back into your room to crawl in bed, trying to get a few more minutes of sleep. After a short while you woke back up and checked the time. It was already five. You got up and grabbed some clothes to head into the shower. You took your time in the shower as you let the warm water massage your sore arms. Each drop of water lulling you into another sleep. You shook your head and turned the knob to finish off the shower with cold water to make sure you would stay awake. You finished up in the shower and got ready for your day.
Hair still a little damp, you walked out of your building with your bag on your back. While you walked to meet the older lady, like you did every other morning, you watched as the sky slowly began to get brighter between parting clouds. While living the way you had been wasn't easy, moments like this where you felt at peace with the earth, even if it was just for a few seconds, made life worth living.
"Oh gosh, again you come outside with your hair not dry. Oh you're going to get sick.." The voice of the older woman, Hwang Seo-yun, snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Hello Mrs. Hwang.." You waved at the older lady who was waiting for you with a bowl of warm food.
"Hurry come inside so you can eat before you go to the market." With her free hand she led you inside her warm home.
"Yes ma'am" You smiled as you followed her inside.
She set the food down at the table and you sat down. "I made sure to add a lot of vegetables, your face has been getting really pale again. We need to make sure you're getting all your vitamins." Mrs. Hwang gently squeezed your cheek like a grandmother does to her grandchild. Mrs. Hwang didn't have any grandchildren, or children for that matter, so you were the closest thing she had to a family member. "Enjoy the food, I made a lot so don't be afraid to get more."
"Yes ma'am, thank you." You watched the way Mrs. Hwang stared at you like you were her own grandchild and it made your heart happy. You looked around, "Where Mr. Hwang..?"
"He had to run out early, his niece is having the baby. She left early this morning to the hospital so he's going to meet his brother there. I'll be going soon after the breakfast rush is over today." Mrs. Hwang answered you as she sat down in the chair next to you.
"Oh wow, I thought she wasn't due until next week..?" You asked her between bites.
"She was, I guess the baby is just ready to join us in the world now."
"Wow then that's great, send her my congrats."
Mrs. Hwang smiled, "Of course I will." She got up to lightly pat your shoulder, "Eat well, I'm going to go ahead and get the list ready for you."
"Okay.." You smiled at her and then went back to eating.
After a while you finished your bowl and walked to the kitchen to wash up after yourself.
You walked back out to see Mrs. Hwang writing on her notepad.
"I've finished ma'am.." You smiled at her as you walked up to her.
"Okay perfect, Was it good..?" She asked you as she ripped the page out of her notepad.
"Oh yes of course, it was delicious." You jokingly rubbed your stomach which made her laugh.
"Haha you sure do know how to humor me. Here is the list and here is the money. There should be enough for you to pick something up for yourself to eat at school." She handed you the list that was folded over some money.
"Okay Mrs. Hwang," You took the list and money from her, "I'll see you in a little bit!" You waved at her as you began walking towards the market. You looked over the list and repeated all the items in your head.
You had made it to the market in around fifteen minutes and being as you were one of the first people there, you had first pick on all the fresh vegetables. Almost all of the vendors knew you already since you had been working with Mrs. Hwang for a little over a year, so they already knew to have some of the items already waiting for you. It took around half an hour to get everything Mrs. Hwang had written down and pay for it. You walked to where Mrs. Hwang was setting up her food cart, hands filled with heavy bags.
"Oh you're back already..?" Mrs. Hwang walked up to you to help with some of the bags.
"Yeah there was barely any other people there. Also there was a sale on the lettuce so you have extra change." You answered her as you followed her to put everything where it needed to be.
For the next twenty or so minutes you helped Mrs. Hwang prep all the ingredients and watched as she began cooking. You barely ever got to watch your mom cook so most of the stuff you've learned when it comes to food has been from watching Mrs. Hwang.
Soon after everything was finished being prepped people began to show up. Since you still had over thirty minutes to kill you helped take orders for Mrs. Hwang. After taking the orders of everyone in the front of the line, you were met with a familiar face in the back of the line.
"Wow what are you doing here..?"
"Getting something to eat, obviously.." That same toothy smile from last night was now here in front of you in the early morning.
"Oh yeah.." You smiled as you remembered what you were doing. "So what would you like..?"
Yong-sun looked on the menu before ordering two servings of what she wanted.
"Okay well you're food should be ready in.." You turned around to look at how many plates Mrs. Hwang had already finished making, "About five minutes." You looked back over at Yong-sun with a smile.
"Okay great, thanks." She walked over to where the plastic tables and chairs were set up.
"These are all done" Mrs. Hwang told you as she handed you a couple plates.
"Okay" You grabbed the plates and handed them to the people that had ordered them.
"This is the order of two servings. Also its getting close to eight, you can go ahead and leave if you're ready, I can manage from here." Mrs. Hwang set the last two plates in your hands.
"Okay Mrs. Hwang, I'll get going then." You walked over to hand Yong-sun what she ordered, "Here you go." You set the plates on the table in front of her.
"Why thank you so much.." She smiled as pulled the plates closer to her. "Are you getting ready to go to school..?"
You nodded your head, "Yeah I'm just going to get my bag then I'm leaving."
"Ah okay, well then go get it." Yong-sun said as she stood up with both plates in her hands.
"Huh..?" You raised an eyebrow at her.
"Go get your bag, I'm gonna walk you to your school."
"Oh.. um are you sure..?" Your head tilted to the side as you spoke.
"Yeah, hurry you don't want to be late."
"Oh right.." You went to grab your bag and met back up with Yong-sun.
"Ready..?" She asked you once you were in front of her.
"Yeah, it's this way.." You pointed down the street to the right.
"Okay, and" She paused as she handed you one of the plates she was holding. "Eat this."
"Wait Yo-"
"Also," She pulled her own bag off her shoulders and handed you a container filled with food, "That older lady over there told me to give this to you."
You grabbed both things from Yong-sun's hands and stared at her. "When did she give you this..?" You asked her as you lifted the container.
"When I was waiting for you to come back with your bag. She said it was the leftovers from this morning and to make sure you gave some to your mom." Yong-sun began walking with you.
"And this..?" You lifted your other hand with the plate of food.
"I bought it for you to eat." She answered you as she unwrapped her plate carefully so she could begin eating as the two of you walked.
"Why..?" You asked as you struggled to put the container in your bag.
"Because you're still a growing teenager and you need to eat proper meals." She answered you as she helped you put the containers in your bag
"Thanks, but you don't have to do all this. We literally just met a couple hours ago." You told her as you adjusted your bag to sit comfortably on your shoulders.
"I know, but I just feel like I have to." She smiled at you as the two of you continued walking.
"Why..?" You asked in genuine curiosity.
Yong-sun shrugged, "I'm not sure. I just do."
"Hmm, well thank you for caring about me, Yong-sun."
"Don't mention it, I'll be here to care about you even when you feel like no one does."
~
"Ma'am we're here." The voice of the driver made you snap out of your thoughts.
"Huh..?" You looked around and realized where you were, "Oh thank you so much." You smiled at the driver before thanking him a couple more times.
"Wait let me get your door for you." He told you as he noticed you reaching for the handle.
"Oh no it's fine, I've got it. Have a great day!" You gave the driver one last smile before getting out of the car.
After a couple meetings with different company representatives, you were now sitting in one of the waiting rooms at RBW as you waited for Yong-sun. You managed to leave your own company early so you could surprise Yong-sun before she was off to some other place to meet with some important people.
You heard a loud laugh coming through the hallway, and instantly knew who it was. "She's going to love this! Haha now I have proof she is truly a fan girl."
A couple seconds later your phone vibrated and you checked it. Your newest notification was from Yong-sun. It was a link to a video titled, "______ Talking About 2NE1 For Fifteen Minutes And Thirty-Six Seconds."
You shook your head as you smiled at your phone.
"Oh yeah she is totally a big fan girl. Do you remember how she almost passed out when we invited her out to eat with Park Bom because of Wheein..?"
"She couldn't even look at her for the first ten minutes of the meal!"
"Yeah you should've seen how watery her eyes got when she gave her a signed copy of her album. Wow she always acts so tough but when it comes to 2NE1 she turns right back into her seventeen year old self."
The voices of all four members grew louder as they began nearing the room you were waiting in. But before any of them could continue to talk about you Yong-sun spotted you and basically took off in a big sprint to hug you.
"Wow careful old lady, you were just complaining because of your neck." Moonbyul said as the other two laughed.
"Oh no, is your neck still causing you issues..?" You asked her as you pulled away too look at her neck.
Yong-sun pouted and rubbed the side of her neck, "Yeah, it hurt really bad."
"See I told you to go see that Chiropractor last week, You should've gone." You told her as you gently rubbed the spot she pointed to.
"I know, I've just been really busy with this whole project I'm working on. I'm so worried no one is going to li-"
You didn't let Yong-sun continue as you cut her off, "Hey I already told you, your fans are going to love this project. You've worked so hard on this, they're going to love it."
"Yeah we told you they're going to love it." Wheein said as she joined the two of you.
"Exactly, you're too hard on yourself. Just because you're our leader doesn't mean you have to be ten times harder on yourself." Hyejin said as she also joined the conversation.
Yong-sun sighed and nodded her head, "Yeah I get that." She turned to face her three group-mates, "Thank you for caring about me."
"Oh no she's about to get emotional.." Hyejin said with an exaggerated eye roll.
"Byul hope you're ready to run." Wheein told the oldest of the three.
"Let's Zoom..!" Moonbyul yelled before grabbing the arms of the other two girls and running out of the room.
You couldn't help but laugh at the girl's antics. "Wow they haven't changed one bit in the past decade.." You smiled as you thought back to when you first met the other three girls. "So how much longer do you have before your new project is getting released..?" You asked Yong-sun as you watched the way she stared in the direction the other three took off, motherly smile on her face.
"Oh I still have six weeks before anything is released to the public." She answered you as she grabbed your hand to follow the direction the other girls ran in.
"Hmm.. well make sure you go see that chiropractor soon because you're going to need all the rest you can. Oh also, did you eat the food I made you..?"
Yong-sun couldn't hide the admiration in her eyes as she stared at the side of your face. "I will, I'll make sure to schedule a meeting with him at the end of the day. And yes I did, it tasted amazing. I would've saved you some so we could've ate together if you told me you were coming."
You shook your head, "I didn't plan on coming here today but I managed to escape for a bit, plus you don't have to tell me but I'm sure Wheein and Hyejin enjoyed stealing some of the food."
Yong-sun laughed, "Wow you know them so well. And 'Enjoyed' is an understatement. I'm surprised I was even able to escape with my fingers intact. I was certain I was going to lose one to the hungry beast that hides itself in them."
It was your turn to laugh, "I'll make sure to pack even more extras next time." Before you could continue your conversation, your phone began to ring. "Oh, I have to take this." You gave Yong-sun an apologetic look as you raised the phone to the side of your face.
"It's okay, I have to go now anyways. I'll see you at home." Yong-sun gave you a quick hug and kiss on the cheek before waving goodbye.
"Bye" You told her before making your way out the front doors of RBW.
"Awe is she leaving already..?" Wheein asked when her and the other two girls finally saw that you and Yong-sun finally made it out to the front.
"Yeah she had a phone call. She only snuck away for a little bit." Yong-sun said as she watched you talk on the phone through the big windows.
"Wow the two of you are basically married already and she's still sneaking away to see you..? Ha the two of you act like you don't sleep in the same bed every night." Hyejin said with a laugh.
"That is very true, plus we didn't even get to congratulate her for what she did earlier." Moonbyul said.
"She's been getting even busier these past few months." Yong-sun said as she finally looked at the girls in front of her once she saw you got in the car that was waiting for you.
"Her popularity overseas has basically exploded, I'm surprised her company hasn't sent her over there for interviews and events to meet fans." Wheein said as she pulled her phone out. "See if you look up her name articles in a bunch of different languages pop up." She handed her phone to Yong-sun.
Yong-sun scrolled down the first few pages of results, and Wheein was right. So many articles were written in a bunch of different languages. "Wow, this is crazy compared to a decade ago."
~
"What you're going to live overseas and you're leaving me here with who..?" You asked your parents in disbelief as tears filled your eyes.
"I know this is hard to understand, but your father found us a good job opportunity there. Sadly you can't come. Your dads aunt agreed to take care of you for us. And you don't have to worry about anything. She's well off and lives in a better neighborhood, far away from here." Your mom spoke in a calm tone.
"Now you can live like a normal teenager and enjoy your last year of high school somewhere better. You can quit working at night too." Your dad said as he joined in on the conversation.
It had been over a year since you began working at night for RBW, over a year since you met Yong-sun and made an unbreakable friendship with her, but now it would all go away. You knew sooner or later that your friendship wouldn't last. Her company had been talking about how soon they were getting to releasing their "Next Big Thing", Mamamoo. You were proud but sad at the same time since you had gotten close to the other three girls that were supposed to debut.
"When do I have to go with her..?" You asked your dad as you could barely process all the information they'd given you.
"Next friday, so you have ten days to let to get everything together. Your great aunt will be meeting us at the airport so we can see you before we leave." Your dad spoke like nothing was wrong with the situation.
"You're what..?" Yong-sun asked in shock as she followed you down the empty side-walk. Her walking you home after work had basically become routine.
"I'm moving." You waited until you were close to home before you broke the news to her.
"When?" Yong-sun's eyes began to get watery as she watched the way you avoided looking her in the eyes.
"Next Friday.." Your voice was shaky and quiet.
After being quiet for the next few moments, Yong-sun broke the silence, "Let's go away for a weekend."
"What..?" You looked up at her in shock.
"I said we should go away for a weekend, the two of us somewhere away from here." Her eyes were focused on every subtle movement you did.
"But you can't disappear for two days without getting in trouble at-"
Yong-sun cut you off and shook her head, "I don't care about that. We're going somewhere this weekend to spend time together."
"Why..? And where would we go..?"
"Because who knows how long it's going to be until we can hang out again. You're one of my favorite people and its honestly going to suck to not be able to see you nearly everyday. And don't worry it won't be far. Just get your stuff packed and I'll come by early Saturday morning to pick you up." With the way she spoke you couldn't help but agree to go.
"Okay, but only because I trust you."
~
"Hello..? Oh yeah I'm on my way. Huh..? Oh no I just went out to get some coffee before our next meeting. Yeah sure I'll bring you something." You walked out of the front doors completely immersed in your conversation with your manager you didn't notice the small group of people staring at your every move.
"Hey isn't she one of those famous internet people..?"
"Hey yeah, she is. She's one of those people that plays video games and gets paid for it."
"Who her..? Oh yeah she's a big deal. You don't know her..? She has millions upon millions of fans from all around the world. Its crazy."
"But what is she doing coming from that company..? Isn't that an idol agency..?"
"Oh yeah that's the company Mamamoo is under. Huh strange..."
"What could she be doing in there..?"
"Hmm there's probably going to be like a weird collab between the gaming world and the music world."
"haha now wouldn't that be strange. Those singers could probably care less about video games."
"Ooh she looks busy, I wish I could ask for a picture."
"You just said you didn't know her."
"Yeah but she's famous. Ugh oh well Ill just take a picture of her, that will get me some likes."
"You're so strange."
"Okay so you want me to hop on for a five minute stream to let everyone know that I will be attending, what was it..?"
"Last time, ISAC, that program they do every year for singers and such, is hosting a gaming competition."
"Right I know what ISAC is but why now..? That whole thing happened back in January..?"
"Yes we know, this is just a special program they're doing. Anyways they want you to host the competition and be like a coach or mentor figure leading up to it. They're going to be releasing this show of the artist practicing playing with you coaching them leading up to the event."
"Oh okay, have they already made announcements for the show and competition or am I the first one that is announcing anything..?"
"They're going to be releasing an announcement in a few hours, but your announcement will be the biggest as of now."
"And I couldn't just make a post about this on social media..?"
"They have plans for all of that too. But this short live-stream is the most important thing. Okay..?" Your manager handed you a small stack of papers. "Here is a basic over-view of the event and the artist's participating. They don't want you to mention who is competing. So here is like a base script and you can modify it to your liking."
"Hmm.. okay well it sounds fun. I'll get started on this."
"Okay, and don't forget to tweet out an announcement for the live stream." Your manager told you as he stood up.
"Alright, I got it." You looked through the papers and read through the names on the papers.
"Okay great!" Your manager gave you a pat on the shoulder, "This is going to be a huge event."
Almost on cue with the door closing, your phone buzzed in your pocket. It was a text from Yong-sun. "I'm not going to get home until later today. This meeting is going to run for a while longer and I just found out there's another one I have to attend. Also you might want to cancel that reservation, I'm sorry but I'll pick up something on my way home."
"Okay that's fine I can always reschedule it, also I have to do a quick Live stream tonight"
You set your phone down and went back to looking over everything in front of you.
You were sitting in front of your computer as you got everything ready. You made it home around twenty minutes ago, Yong-sun was still picking up food for the two of you.
"Okay so all that is set, now all I have to do is wait." You sat in your chair as you pulled your phone out to see the announcement you posted earlier. All the replies were filled with questions and you couldn't help but smile as you read as many as you could.
You checked the time and saw that it was three minutes before you needed to get started. You got up to get a glass of water. Taking a sip before sitting down you stared at the digital clock you had on your desk.
"Hmm.. okay and start" You mumbled quietly before starting the stream. You sat there with a smile as you waited for more people to join. To help pass the time you answered some of the comments. "Say Hi to brazil" you read the comment to yourself out loud before smiling and waving at the camera, "Hi brazil, what's up..? Also what time is it there haha.." You looked for another comment to read, "If you read this you have to shave your hair... um haha nope sorry. Hmm whats this, If you could be any vegetable what would you be. oof that's a tough one but I'd like to be a bell pepper. Doesn't matter which color, just any bell pepper is fine. I'm not sure why but that is the first vegetable that popped in my head haha." You cleared your throat as you read another comment, "What is a song you've been listening to a lot recently? Hmm see I would say It Hurts by 2NE1 but I got sent a video earlier that shows that I talk about them a lot so I'll pick a song from one of my other favorite groups.. any guesses..?" You smiled as you read all the comments that popped up. "Wow yes you got it" You read the users name, "it is Mamamoo. The song is Universe. I've been listening to it a lot lately. Its a beautiful song that I really enjoy." Then one comment caught your eye, "I saw you earlier today but you looked busy so I couldn't say hi. Ahh you're so much more beautiful in person. Awe no I'm never too busy to not say hi. If you ever see me around don't be shy to say anything. I love meeting you guys in person." You checked how many people were watching and decided it was a decent amount. You cleared your throat before starting what you practiced.
It only took a couple of minutes for everything you needed to say, and your announcement was met with a lot of positive feedback. Before you knew it, you were already waving bye to everyone.
You ended the live stream but before you could close or turn anything off you heard your door open. "Aura what are you doing fatty." You smiled as your cat hopped up into your lap. "You made me get excited, I thought you were your mom." You laughed as you continued to pet her, "Wait how did you open the door..?"
"Surprise haha." A tired Yong-sun appeared at the door.
"Hey when did you get home." You got up and set Aura on your chair.
"Like five minutes ago, I saw you were recording so I tried being quiet." She told you as she walked towards you.
Aura jumped on your desk and began to walk over your keyboard and mouse. Then not even a few minutes after you ended your stream, you were back on. You didn't notice anything since Aura rubbed on the side of your monitor, turning it off in the process.
Focusing on Yong-sun's red eyes you grabbed her hand and sat on your chair again. "You look tired." You let her get comfortable in your lap before reaching for the glass of water you had on your desk.
Yong-sun grabbed the glass of water and took a drink. "I am, very. But it's nice to be able to see your face after such a long day."
Your phone began to ring so you pulled it out to see who was calling.
"Who is it..?" Yong-sun asked as she fixed a piece of your hair that was out of place.
"It's my manager." You answered her as you put your phone on silent and set it on your desk.
"You're not going to answer it..?" she gave you a look to let you know that it was okay for you to answer.
You shook your head as you wrapped your arms around her, "No I'll call him back in a little bit. You're here and you look stressed. You're my main priority now." You gave her a small smile as you gently rubbed her back.
"Are you sure..? I don't want you to get in trouble because of me." Her voice conveyed the exact feelings of concern she felt.
"Hey I've known you for over ten years now, you're so worth getting in trouble for." You smiled at the look she gave you. "Okay so are you going to tell me whats wrong..?" The tone in your voice softened.
Yong-sun sighed, "I'm just so tired." She closed her eyes, "You know that SD card you bought me last week..?"
"Yeah, what's wrong with it..? I have some extras in my drawer."
Yong-sun opened her eyes to look at you, "It's not that there's something wrong with it, it's just that I can't find it. I've recorded hours and hours of content on it but now I can't find it." Yong-sun continued telling you about everything that had been making her stressed out as of late. You listened to everything she said and offered her the best advice you could.
"Let's go somewhere this weekend." You told her, breaking the small moment of silent between the two of you.
"Huh..? What do you mean..?" She lifted her head to look at you.
"Let's get out of the country just for this weekend. You need a break and so do I. I want you to clear your head of any work that you have to do. And I'm not taking no as an answer."
"But I have things I need to do and also don't you have to prepare for that special stream your working on..?"
You sighed and shook your head, "I don't care about any of that. You need a break, I already told you that if I get in trouble for you it is all worth it. We can have some time for ourselves. The only thing I want you to think about is where you want to go. I'll prepare everything. I promise this is going to make you feel amazing."
"Hmm.. fine" Yong-sun smiled, "This reminds me of eighteen year old you when we snuck away for a weekend before you moved.."
You laughed as you remembered exactly what she was talking about, "Wow that was so long ago but I still remember everything we did." You looked Yong-sun in the eyes, "See and that was your idea, now this is my idea."
"Wow you seriously don't know how loved your making me feel." Yong-sun's voice was quiet as she stared at you with the most adoring look in her eyes.
"Good, I promise you will feel like a princess this weekend," You gave her a kiss on the cheek before getting up and letting her sit in your chair, "I'll go bring the food you got. We can eat in here as we look up places to go. So start thinking" You smiled at her before walking out to bring in the food she brought home.
"Wow she seriously doesn't know how great a person she is." Yong-sun smiled as she spoke to herself, "She hasn't changed one bit. Always the same humble and caring girl I fell in love with." She was about to pull her phone out to see what time it was but then you walked in carrying everything.
"I'm back!" You smiled at her as you held the bags up.
"Finally, ugh I didn't think I would survive with being away from you for this long." She gave you a cheesy smile then laughed at the way you scrunched your nose.
"You've been hanging around Byul too long, you're starting to get her greasiness." You shook your head as you placed the bags down on the desk.
"Hey admit it, your heart began to pound even faster." She spun in your chair as you moved.
You looked over at her and laughed, "Nope, you should leave the greasiness to Byul, plus my heart always pounds super fast when I see you." You stood in front of you chair as you looked at her.
This time she scrunched her nose, "Ah you're too much." She covered her cheeks with her hands.
"Haha oh my, are you blushing??" You pulled her hands off her cheeks and smiled, "So cute."
Yong-sun pulled her hands away from yours and lightly slapped your arm. "Stop" She pouted at you, "Let's eat."
You laughed as you decided to have mercy on her, "Okay okay, fine." You bent down to give her a kiss before getting an extra chair and putting it next to her.
The two of you ate while talking about everything and nothing.
"When is your sister coming back from Indonesia..?" You asked her as you pushed your food away from you because you were finished eating.
"Hmm.. I think this Thursday.." Yong-sun said as she got up to begin cleaning up. "She's sent me some pictures, its really pretty there."
"Oh really..?" You got up to help her clean.
She continued to tell you everything that her sister told her about the country she was visiting. The two of you finished cleaning then you sat back down in the other chair you brought in and Yong-sun sat in your chair.
"Wow it does sound amazing. So have you decided where you want to go then..?" You watched as her eyes began to shine when she nodded.
"Yeah let's go to Indonesia, I want to experience it for myself too. Ill tell her that we're going to go so she should just cancel her flight and come back with us." The tiredness that had taken over her earlier was nowhere to be seen now, as she smiled at you with all the care in the world.
"Okay that's perfect, here I'll look up flight times then." You turned to face your computer but instead you were greeted by your fat cat sleeping on your keyboard. "Aura what are you doing sleeping on there fatty?" You picked her up and both you and Yong-sun shared a laugh.
"Awe she just wanted to spend time with you." Yong-sun said as Aura rubbed herself on her legs.
"No she's just nosy." You smiled at Yong-sun before turning your monitor back on. "What??" the blood from your face completely drained as you stared at your monitor in shock.
"What happ-" Yong-sun was looking down at Aura before she looked up, equally in shock as to what was the screen in front of the two of you.
"I swear I turned it off before you came in the room." You turned to Yong-sun as your face turned red. "I-I don't know how this happened or how long its been on, I'm so sorry Yong" You reached for the mouse to turn the live stream off but Yong-sun grabbed your hand to stop you. "What?" You looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
Yong-sun simply shook her head, "There's no point in hiding now, might as well come clean."
You shook your head as your eyes began to water, "No, I'm scared." Once again you tried to reach for your mouse but she stopped you. "Yong, please... I don't want to see you get hurt because of me. I'm so sorry I really didn't know it was on."
Yong-sun grabbed your hand, "It's not your fault." She got up from the chair so she could give you a hug. "I'm not going to let you blame yourself for this, but I do think we are going to have to clear everything up to your viewers, I'm sure they have a lot of questions, and It's only right that we answer them." She pulled away to look at you, "It's going to be okay."
You looked her in the eyes, "Okay, just because I trust you."
"Good. Also our managers are going to kill us.." She said with a smile which made you laugh.
The two of you sat in silence as you stared at the screen trying to figure out what to say. All the comments kept flying by and the two of you read them in silence.
"They finally noticed" "Came here from twitter, didn't believe it was real but wow." "This has to be a prank" "I knew she wasnt straight haha take that hets" "They make a cute couple" "How long have they been together?" "EW I cant believe shes dating someone from mamamoo, shes lost my support" "AHH SHES DATING SOMEONE FROM MAMAMOO, MOOMOOS THIS IS A WIN!!" "As long as she makes our leader happy Im here to support them!" "MooMoo from vietnam here, I fully support the two of you!!!" "I SAY MAMA-MAMA-MOO!!" "There's no way this is real, it has to be a publicity stunt" "ARE THEY LIVING TOGETHER??" "Can I come to the wedding please?"
You cleared your throat and looked over at Yong-sun, who gave you the most gentle smile ever. "Okay, I can do it." You told her quietly before looking at your camera. Taking a deep breathe you mustered a small smile, "Okay wow, never thought I'd be the one to expose my own personal life but here we are. I'm certain most people know who this beautiful woman is who is sitting next to me, but for those of you who don't I would like to introduce my best friend of over ten years and my Girlfriend of over five, Kim Yong-sun, also known by many as Solar of Mamamoo."
Once again you stared as the comments filled the screen.
"Five years??? WHAT??" "Wow Im so glad Solar has had someone to care of her during these stressful times." "If only I had someone like that to come home to everyday." "They've known each other for over ten years?? Wow that is crazy." "At least we know she's not dating her for her money."
This time Solar spoke up, "Um im not as good at these things as she is and I know this is surprising to a lot of people but I just want everyone to know that I have had the pleasure to watch her grow into the amazing woman she is today while also falling in love with her. She's been with me for every step in my career and I've been there for her's too. We've known each other since we were both young and just trying to figure out what we were going to do with our lives. Also I just want to let everyone know that just because she is in a relationship with me does not mean you should stop supporting her, but that also means I won't let her go no matter how horrible the backlash may be. I will do anything I can to make sure nothing happens to us."
You stared at Yong-sun, amazed by her words you couldn't help but smile.
"AHH THEYRE SO CUTE!" "I want someone to look at me like that.." "LOOK AT HOW SHE SMILES AT HER" "Wow the way she talk about her is going to make me fall in love with her too" "Are we dreaming right now, I can't believe this" "I'm burning all my albums. I cant believe you would betray us like this.." "Theyre so cute, we need couple pics!!"
"So what do we do now..?" Yong-sun asked you.
You shrugged, "I don't know, this is the first time I've ever been caught dating someone."
The both of you laughed then Yong-sun pointed to all the comments flying by, "Shouldn't we answer their questions..? I know they have to be super curious about everything."
"I mean, if you want to we can. I just don't want to pressure you into thinking you have to tell everyone everything about us."
"It's fine. I know if I found out one of my favorite singers was in a relationship of five years I would have a lot of questions too."
"Hmm.. okay then I guess we can answer some questions." You grabbed Yong-suns hand and held it in your lap as you read the comments. "Do you see any you want to answer..?" You tilted your head to the side to ask her.
"Um this one." She pointed at the screen then read it out loud, "How long have you lived together?" Yong-sun smiled, "Um a little over three years now but before then we would always be at the others house so we figured we might as well just move in together."
You watched as Yong-sun answered the questions, her demeanor completely different from yours. She seemed calm and relaxed, meanwhile you kept bouncing your knee while avoiding staring at the camera.
"Pick one" Yong-sun whispered to you.
"Huh? Oh um" You scanned the comments then saw one you wanted to answer. "What is one of the biggest challenges you face in this relationship? Um I would have to say schedules. Recently it has gotten pretty hard to see each other, especially when shes promoting a new song but even then we still keep in contact a lot. So it's not such a big challenge since I know I will still see her soon but it sucks to be away from her for so long."
You and Yong-sun spent the next half an hour reading questions and answering them. Then finally the two of you decided it was a good time to end it.
"Um okay, so I guess that is it for today and thank you to those of you who are supportive of our relationship. I thank you very much and I'm extremely sorry that this was how you had to find out. Please don't spread any malicious rumors about us since we are in a loving relationship and we care about each other very much. Anyways um yeah I'll see you soon!" You ended the live stream and made sure everything was off.
"Oh wow.." Yong-sun mumbled as she checked her phone.
"What's wrong..?" You asked her once you made sure to turn your computer off.
"Both of our names are currently trending... I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not.." She said as she turned her phone for you to look at the screen.
"Oh wow.." You grabbed your phone and your Jaw nearly dropped. "32 missed calls from my manager.. oh wow.. I'm gonna be in so much trouble."
"Let's leave tomorrow" Yong-sun said as she grabbed your phone from your hands.
"What..? I can't I still have to do the rest of my scheduled charity streams.." You sighed and shook your head.
Yong-sun was quiet as she did something on her phone with a small smile, "Too bad, I already booked the flight." She turned her phone to show you the receipt for the tickets. "We're leaving at eight thirty."
"But what about the charities..?" You asked as you gestured to the board you had in your room with all the charities.
"I'll match the amount you raised today to donate the other three charities."
"No, that's too much." You shook your head, "I can't let you do that."
"I want to. Plus you said it yourself that I needed to take some time away to relax, so it's set." She smiled before giving you a kiss on the cheek. "Go call your manager and I'll start packing our things." She gave you your phone back and walked out of your office.
"Wow she's hot when she's bossy.." You mumbled with a small smile as you watched her walk out, but that smile soon went away when you looked back at all the missed calls you had. "I'm in so much trouble.."
You got up from your chair and walked out to your front door. You slipped your shoes on, "I'm going outside to call him."
"Okay! Be safe! And let me know if I have to beat him up!" You heard Yong-sun yell from your room.
"Haha okay will do!"
Even though the sun was already setting you grabbed a ball cap and walked out. You placed the cap on and stepped into the elevator. In the elevator you checked your phone and saw a lot of people tagging you in a certain post. You opened the post and it was a picture of you walking outside of RBW on your phone. It was captioned, "I took this picture earlier thinking it was going to get me a few likes but after seeing the current news I'm sure others are going to want to see this!"
You sighed as you adjusted the cap on your head and then you went to read some of the comments below the post.
"Wow visiting her while she's at work, that's how you know she's a keeper!" "Huh ew, first she steals our leader from us then she goes and distracts her at work, this is disgusting. @rbbridge you guys need to do something about this disgusting behavior" "Awe I'm so glad our leader has someone to lean on when times are hard" "Mamamoo doesn't even have a dating ban, I don't see why people are so upset. They're both grown ass adults, let them date!" "This is so cute but I'm scared people are going to hate on them since they're both girls.." "She's so hot! Solar is lucky" "Can't believe someone from mamamoo gets to date my dream girl" "Visiting her while at work.. seems unprofessional to me.." "Guys she literally did a good thing this morning with raising over ten thousand dollars for a charity, I think we should focus on that rather than her personal life." "@yunstoe when are you going to come visit me at work like this??"
You looked up from your phone when the elevator dinged. With another small sigh you walked out into the front lobby, you didn't expect anyone but the front desk worker and the usual security guard to be there but there was a small crowd of people gathered around the desk. You didn't know who those people were or what they were here for but just in case, you lowered the lip of you cap and looked down. You were able to hear all the conversations going on as the group of people bombarded the poor worker with questions.
"Is it true the both of them live here??"
"Why can't you just tell us??"
"How would you even know they live here? There's hundreds of different apartment buildings all over the city?"
"Because someone found a picture of her license from one of her weekly vlog videos and they saw her address."
"If you don't live here please leave or I will call the cops!"
You looked up when you heard one of the security guards yell that and quickened your pace. Once you were outside the building you looked around and saw that there were even more people gathering outside.
"How the fuck do they know I live here??" You mumbled under your breath as you hid your face.
You walked in a quick pace as you passed by people with big cameras.
"How could they not know they were on a live stream for almost two hours?"
"They say beauty can't buy you brains, so I guess that's true."
You had to bite your tongue as you slipped away from the people, managing to find a small alleyway to walk down. You pulled your phone out and called Yong-sun first.
"Hello?" her voice rang through the line as you continued to walk aimlessly through the connected alleyways.
"Hey, there's like a gathering of people all around the building and inside near the front desk so just make sure the door is locked. Call security and ask them if they can have someone on our floor just in case." You sighed heavily into your phone, "This is insane.."
"Wow you sound really worried, is it really that bad..?" there was some shuffling in the background.
"Yeah it is, maybe it is a good idea to leave tomorrow while this blows over.." You turned down another alley.
"Of course it is, my ideas are always amazing.."
"Haha okay, if you say so. But let me let you go now. I have to call my manager. Make sure the door stays locked and you call security."
"Okay I will. And if it's as bad as you say it is, be careful."
The two of you said your goodbyes then your finger hovered over your managers number. After staring at it for a while you finally clicked it. The phone only rang twice before he picked it up.
"Have you seen your numbers??" Was the first thing he said.
"What..? What numbers??" You found a wall to lean against.
"Your followers are growing big time, your views have jumped nearly half a million in the past hour. Not only are your numbers growing, Mamamoo's are too! This is insane."
"Wait so you're not mad at me..?"
"Mad? No not at all, I was at first since you ignored my call, but this outcome.. wow it's incredible. Thanks to you we're getting bonuses this weekend!"
You and your manager talked for the next half hour and you told him how you and Yong-sun were leaving to go to Indonesia tomorrow and that you were just going to make an announcement that you were donating eleven thousand dollars to each of the other three charities. Surprisingly he agreed to everything and so you were set. It felt like a huge weight was lifted off your shoulders.
"You just have to come in tomorrow to fill out some paperwork and you should be set, also see if you can bring Yong-sun in too. It would help if the two of you would record a short video for it rather than just an announcement."
"Yeah that sounds great, I'll make sure and talk to her about it."
"Alright great, I'll see you tomorrow. I'll make sure to have a car out there waiting for you at ten."
"Okay, bye.." You hung up then looked around. You walked down one long alleyway until you were on a pretty busy side walk. You looked at all the shops around before finding a small deserted cafe.
You walked in and saw some workers wiping down the tables. You lifted your cap off your head and fixed your hair as you walked to the front counter. You looked at the Menu while you waited for an employee to come up to the counter.
"Hello, may I take your or- oh my gosh its you!!"
You looked down and locked eyes with the employee behind the register. "I'm sorry, do I know you..?" You asked her with a small smile.
The girl shook her head and pointed at you, "No, but I know you. Can I get a picture??" She asked as she wiped her hands on the brown apron she was wearing.
"Haha of course, but after I get my brownies." You winked at her as you pointed at the pastries in the glass display.
"S-sure, um what would you like." The girl asked as she stared at you with huge eyes.
"Um I would like two slices of that tiramisu, hmm um two of those fudge brownies, and lastly two of your snicker doodles." You told her with a bright smile.
"Okay" The girl went and bagged everything up before entering it all in the register. She told you the total and you paid for it.
You watched as the girl ran to the back to get her phone.
You waited next to one of the tables as you checked your phone.
"Okay I got it!" The girl ran up to you while dragging her coworker behind her. "Here" She gave her phone to her coworker, who couldn't seem the least bit interested in what was going on.
The girl stood next to you, "How do you want to pose..?" You asked her with a small smile.
"Like this!" She showed you and you copied her. "Take it!" She told her coworker, who only sighed before taking the picture. After the picture was taken she ran to her coworker to see the picture before showing it to you. "Like it?"
You nodded with a smile, "Mhm, you look great. Can I see your phone..?" You asked her as you held your hand out.
"Oh of course!" She handed you her phone.
You opened her camera app and stood next to her. "Smile!" You told her as you snapped a couple of photos. Then you slid to her video camera, subtly reading her name tag, you clicked record. "Hi Jang Ji-yoo from the future! It was a pleasure meeting you! You have a great smile and I can't wait to get home to try these deserts! I hope the rest of your day is amazing and you have a wonderful rest of the week! I hope you stay positive and do good things for others!" You moved next to her and recorded both of your faces, "Next time I see you, I hope you look even happier than you do now! You're an amazing person with a beautiful smile the world should be grateful to see. Bye!" You waved to the camera then ended the video. "Here you go!" You handed her her phone with a smile.
"Ah thank you, I'm a really big fan of yours!!" She hopped up and down as she grabbed her phone from your hands.
"Oh really..? That means a lot, thank you for supporting me. It means a lot to have someone like yourself supporting me." You bowed deeply to her.
"ah no no no" She shook her head as she grabbed your arm to lift your upper half back up. "Thank you for creating amazing videos that make me laugh."
You smiled, "I'm just glad you enjoy them! If you don't mind me asking, what do you like about my videos..?"
"Well I don't have a computer to play games so I like to watch other people play them. I usually get bored of watching the same person play different games, but with you I can watch you play any game and I never get bored." Her eyes twinkled as she talked to you.
"Oh really, you don't have a computer to play games on..? Hmm" You pulled your phone out. "Do you have a twitter or an Instagram account I can reach you on..?"
"Huh..? Oh I do, but why..?" She tilted her head to the side as she watched you.
"I'm gonna get a close friend of mine to build you your own custom computer." You turned your phone around to show her the Instagram page of a close friend you knew, who just so happened to be a really famous PC builder in the country.
"Oh, no way, that's way too much!" She shook her head.
You laughed, "You're a nice person, plus you look like you're in college so a new computer couldn't hurt." You handed her your phone. "Look up your account, also what game that I've played so far has been your favorite series to watch so far..?"
She hesitated before grabbing your phone, "Um well it's an older series you did," She typed her username in and gave you your phone back, "But I really liked your Until Dawn play through you did a couple years ago. Oh and also the special play through you did of The Last of Us. I rewatch those videos every now and then."
"Hmm perfect, well I have to go now but I'll make sure to get in touch with you soon." You put your phone back in your pocket and picked the bag of desserts up of the table.
"Oh wow, thank you so much! You're really just as kind in person as you are on camera! I can't believe I got to meet you! This is the best day ever!!" She smiled brightly as she stared at you.
"The pleasure is all mine. Bye Ji-yoo!" You waved at her before walking out of the cafe, making sure to put your cap back on.
Back in the cafe there was a conversation going on between Ji-yoo and her coworker right after you walked out.
"You seriously don't know who she is??"
"Nope never heard of he- oh wait is this her..?" Her co-worker was scrolling on his phone but paused to turn it around and show Ji-yoo something.
"Huh yeah"
"Oh wow she's dating Solar"
"She's what??"
You had managed to find you way back to your apartment building, still surprised at the fact that there were still groups of people waiting outside.
"Hey that's her!!" You heard someone yell then footsteps began rushing over towards you.
You looked down and sped up your walking pace, and before anyone could make it towards you, you were inside where there was no one but a bunch of the security officers and the front desk worker. Once you were inside you took off your cap and smiled at the front desk worker. "Hey Min-ju"
"Hey you, I'm guessing everyone found out about you and Ms. Yong-sun huh..?" She asked you with a sympathetic smile.
You turned around to look at the front door, where the security officers were blocking people with cameras entrance to the building. "Yeah" You sighed and shook your head as you looked back at her. "I didn't think it would be this big of a deal."
Min-ju laughed, "Well Ms. Yong-sun is the leader of one of the most popular girl groups at the moment and you, ha well in which country aren't you popular in..? Of course it's a huge deal."
"Well how come you've never freaked out like them.." You asked her as you pointed at all the people crowded outside.
Min-ju simply shrugged with a carefree smile, "Yours and Ms. Yong-sun's personal lives don't affect me in any way. As long as the two of you pay your rent then everything is fine with me. Plus I'm over the crazy fan girl stage in my life."
You walked over to the front desk and leaned on the counter, "Oh really..? Which group were you a fan girl of..?"
Min-ju laughed as she shook her head, "I was the biggest fan girl of Girl's Generation and Sistar. Haha don't even get me started on that phase of my life."
You joined her in laughing, "Oh don't worry, I was a huge fan girl of 2NE1. Yong-sun still picks on me about how head over heels I was over them. She just won't let me live that down."
"Yeah I've heard you're a big fan of 2ne1. Oh which reminds me.." She paused as she picked up a box that was behind the desk. "A couple of your fans left these here for you." She slid the box across the counter and you saw what was inside.
"Wow what the hell.." Inside the box was a bunch of different 2ne1 and Mamamoo albums with sticky notes attached that had positive messages.
"Yeah you missed it, there was an even bigger crowd of people out there. They were all writing stuff down and putting them all in this box. Then one of the more calm people out there gave it to one of the security guards to give to me so I could give it to you."
"Holy crap it hasn't even been that long since the news got out, how did they plan this all??" You picked up different albums to read all the stick notes.
"Haha fan's work in mysterious ways."
"Wow this is incredible" You shook your head as you looked back up at Min-ju. "And as much as I would love to stay and chat, I have to get ready for tomorrow. Bye Min-Ju." You smiled as you placed your bag of desserts in the box then picked it up.
"Bye, stay safe!" She hollered as you walked away with the box in your hands.
You got in the elevator and selected your floor level. You looked down at the box in your hands with a smile on your face. You never expected today to go the way it would but all you could do now was be there for Yong-sun, more than you'd ever been. You weren't one to pay attention to mainstream media news but now that all of this was out, you knew everything was just getting started.
Stepping out of the elevator you were greeted by a security guard who smiled at you. Smiling back you walked past him and entered the password to your door before stepping inside.
"I'm back, and I've brought you something." You yelled into your apartment as you took your shoes off.
You heard footsteps and then Yong-sun appeared in front of you, "He- whoa what's in the box..?"
You walked towards your kitchen as Yong-sun followed behind. "A bunch of people got a couple of 2NE1 and" You smiled at her, "Mamamoo album's, and they wrote on sticky-notes attached to them. I read a couple of them already but I wanted to see your reaction to it."
"Oh wow.." She looked through the box once you set it down on the counter. "That is very sweet of them, oh what's this..?" She lifted up the bag you put in the box.
"Oh that" You smiled as you grabbed the bag from her hand, "I got some treats." You took everything out of the bag and laughed as Yong-sun's eyes lit up in joy.
"For me..?" She asked as she looked over everything you brought home.
"No it's for Aura" you sighed as you gave her an over exaggerated eye roll, "Yes it's for you, dummy.." You mumbled the last word quietly as you held up the brownie for her to take a bite.
She gave you a funny stare as she bit down on the brownie.
The two of you talked for a while as you ate the desserts you brought home.
"So.. shouldn't we thank them for all of this..?" Yong-Sun asked as she pointed at the box on the counter.
"Oh yeah, haha sorry I forgot that was even there."
"I could tell." She hummed as she grabbed your hand, "Mind telling me what's making those wheels in your brain turn..?"
You sighed as you looked her in the eyes, "I don't know, a lot of stuff. Like what's going to happen to the both of us after all this mess is over, I doubt any of my sponsors are still going to want to work with me.. Plus I don't want you to get disrespected in your industry, you and the girls were finally getting the recognition you deserve world wide, and here I came along and ruined it.. I'm sorry Yong-Sun.."
Yong-Sun shook her head as she gave your hand a small squeeze, "No don't say any of that. You didn't ruin anything, what happened earlier was not your fault. Plus I'm kind of glad the secrets out, now I don't feel such a heavy weight on my chest. Now we can go out in public as a real couple and not have to worry about being blackmailed by some stupid company that runs on scandals. You have nothing to apologize for, You make up one half of this relationship and I'm the other half, we're both in this as one." Yong-Sun got up to hug you. "Now put on that lovely smile of yours and take a picture with me with this lovely gift your fans prepared so we can thank them for the support." She pulled away and let her hands rest on your shoulders as she smiled gently at you.
"Okay" You couldn't help but smile at the way she looked at you, "Thank you, that really eased everything I was feeling in here" You pointed at your head.
"Good, that's what im here for" She leaned in to give you a kiss on your forehead.
The two of you walked over to the living room, with you carrying the box, and looked through the album's with the notes to see which ones you wanted to hold in the picture.
"Okay so I got these two, and" You looked over at Yong-Sun who was staring deeply at three album's laid out on the floor. "Can't choose..?" You asked with a smile as you could practically see the steam coming out of her ears.
Yong-Sun shook her head, "I'm torn between the notes on these three.."
You looked over her shoulder and read the notes on the album's that laid on the floor in front of her.
"I wish nothing but love and care for your relationship, the news was totally unexpected but real fans take this news in delight as we see our leader has someone to take care of her too"
"Wow she's hot, good job Solar!"
"I now have two new people to add to my list of role models. Now I see that the feelings I feel are completely normal and there's nothing wrong with me. I wish the two of you the best for what the future has to offer"
You laughed and shook your head as you pointed at the one in the middle, "Haha okay I can understand the other two, but this one..? Really..?"
"What..?" She looked over at you with a pout. "It's the truth, I'll just try and hold two in one hand.." She smiled as she demonstrated to you.
"Haha okay, if that's what you want. Ready..?" You asked her as you opened the camera app on your phone before getting up to set it up to point at the two of you.
"Mhm" She nodded as she crossed her legs and held the album's.
"Okay timer is set" You quickly made it back to your spot and picked up the album's you chose. The box sat in front of the two of you and you made sure to angle your phone in a manner that would show what was in the box. Your flash went off as you and Yong-sun were sat next to each other, with big smiles, as you held up the albums with the beautiful notes from the best people.
You got up and checked the picture before letting Yong-sun see it. "It looks good, post it.." She mumbled as she looked at it.
"Okay." You opened up your Instagram account, which immediately overwhelmed you as notifications just kept flooding through, you managed to come up with a caption thanking everyone for the support and apologizing for the sudden news of your private life. You copied your caption and used it on twitter as you uploaded the picture on your account there too. You felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist.
"It's all going to be okay, we've made it this far. I'm sure at this point nothing can make me want to ever leave your side.." Yong-sun mumbled quietly.
You turned around in her arms with a small smile, "Oh really..? You're 'sure'..? That's it..?"
"Look if it was legal I'm sure we would be married already.." She tilted her head to the side as she stared into your eyes.

Heize In Houston
First of all wow!!! I GOT TO HUG HEIZE AND SHE HELD MY HAND!!!! She smelled amazing like whatever perfume or whatever she was wearing made her smell like a literal princess.
Okay but sadly as much as I love her the entire thing was kind of messed up. Like it has nothing to do with her at all, she's a literal angel. But the people working the venue or just whatever staff was in charge. When we met her they were literally rushing us just to take a picture. Like they advertised it as a meet and greet, and I'm sure most of y'all know what a typical K-pop meet and greet is like, well this one was just you walk inside you get rushed on to this little stage with 3 other random people to take a picture. But Heize being the sweetheart that she is, she gave us all hugs and told us hi. So then after that we get rushed off the little stage (well platform is most likely the better term for it) and they give us the poster and then we get to stand where we want.
So we all wait for an hour as everyone fills in and all of that jazz. Then the lights get dark and the DJ comes out. Now for what I'ma say next just realized most of us had been standing outside in the Texas heat and humidity for 4+ hours. So the DJ starts to do his thing, he was a really good dj not gonna lie at all, but I just felt like his performance went on for too long. Most people were getting kinda irritated and I'm not gonna lie I couldn't feel my legs at all and we waited for almost an hour for Heize to come out. But when she did she looked stunning.
But as I mentioned before the staff/ people working there were pretty rude. (except for the body guard lady next to me, she was pretty cool). Like I went up to the Bar before the show started and asked for some water, you know just a small water cup since they wouldn't let us bring outside drinks, so the guy throws this attitude and rolls his eyes as he tells me they're not open yet. So I just smiled and said okay as nicely as possible. Then like almost an hour later when they start to let GA in I see that people are getting stuff from the bar. So once again I walk over. But luckily it was a girl and not that guy. So I asked her if there was water that they were selling. So she sighs and rolls her eyes as she tells me the water cooler thing has been on the end of the counter all night. So okay I walk over and get some water. I don't know why that was so difficult for that dude to tell me that like c'mon dude. Also a couple people in the crowd were being kind of rude. Like she would try talking but everyone was just fucking vulcher screaching.
But overall Heize did amazing as expected and she's so sweet. I recorded all of her singing and just didn't record when she interacted with us so I could watch her. I was literally so focused on her just taking in every detail of how amazingly beautiful she was that I was almost frozen in place.
HEIZE IS COMING TO HOUSTON
oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. I cannot believe it
i’m so picky ❣️

Still can't believe I was there
I've had Missing You by 2NE1 stuck in my head all day and.... I miss them so much.
I've been in my 2ne1 feels all week. I've literally watched so many of their live performances to the point that I want to cry cause I miss them so much. I know Kpop isnt that deep but 2ne1 just has such a special place in my heart that it's hard filling up that empty void. Idk if it's cause Bom came back or cause CL finally posted something on Instagram or because their 10th year anniversary is coming up, but I've been watching so many of their performances to the point where I continue to be awestruck by their stage presence. I miss my four queens so much... :(
Like here is just a small example of the videos I've watched recently (PS don't judge me I watch a lot of random stuff in the middle of the night)
but I seriously miss them so much like it's impossible to put it into words...
