I just learned an intro post is a thing? I guess? I have no idea how to use this app I downloaded it a few days ago for vsmp stuff gonna be so real.
Anyways heeyyy~ welcome~
My name is Izzi. Um. Idk what to put in this gonna be so real. I like a lot of stuff, and my current very big (might honestly be me biggest hyper fixation ever) hyper fixation is VSMP even though I'm like 8 MONTHS LATE TO IT 😭... I like other stuff too, but I think it'll be mostly vsmp that'll be relavent here. Unless I figure out how to use this app of course but then I can just edit this! Wait.. Can you edit stuff on Tumblr... Eh, if not I'll just make a new one lmao.

Trying to slow down a bit as I’m worried I’m being too annoying with these, but here’s some more bloodloathing royalty AU :)
(Somewhat based on historical stuff, but with creative liberties taken as this is a fantasy universe)
Legundo has a lot of scars. As a man trained to be a knight, he’s been in a lot of fights, and as a result has received a fair few injuries across his time learning and serving.
Some are from weapon training - various scratches received while practising with a blunt sword. While incredibly unlikely to cause fatal injuries, it is impossible to completely avoid being hurt. Not everything will scar, but there are some various injuries from this. His superiors from where he was trained had a preference for learning with a blunt sword made of metal over a wooden one, as it is much closer to what a knight would use in real combat. As a result, light injuries are more likely.
He is also trained in hand-to-hand combat, which is initially taught in simple clothing before progressing to armour for ease of learning the basics. This mostly resulted in bruising that heals, but sometimes an injury could be sustained that would form a scar. I could also see him having a couple of scars from being trained to ride a horse - though I’m not yet sure of the details.
A couple of his scars have also been gained during actual service as a knight, however due to the full armour he wears in these scenarios, they are very limited. I see him having a scratch on his cheek and some small marks in the gaps for joints, but even so these are limited. By that point, he is much more proficient at his job and much better protected by his armour. I imagine the scar he has across his face in canon is gained while he’s the personal guard for Scott, and is gotten much later than the rest.
Scott doesn’t know about most of these injuries until the first time he sees Legs without his armour. The only one he’s truly aware of is the one on his cheek, which he’s noticed but has never really commented on.
The first time he learns of the other scars, Legundo is uncharacteristically uncomfortable. I doubt he would like the scars, seeing them as symbols of his mistakes in his training and his ‘ineptitude’. Scott on the other hand, finds them intriguing. His own upbringing meant he rarely got injured, the most he would get being something from an accident when he was a kid. He’s very careful with himself and cares a lot about his appearance, so despite how he acts he goes out of his way to avoid injury.
This detail about him would only make Legs less open to Scott learning about his scars. He’s convinced that he’ll find them ugly, like he does with the ones on himself, but he couldn’t be more wrong. When he eventually does see and learn about them (when their romantic relationship is already established), Scott actually likes his scars. To him, they’re not symbols of his failures, but rather his successes, his determination, and his strength. And yes, he doesn’t like scars on himself, but that’s only because they don’t align with the way he wants to present. As a result of how he was raised, he doesn’t think scars fit a prince.
But Legs isn’t a prince, he’s a knight. A protector, and scars only represent how he does exactly what his role demands of him.
(Also, completely unrelated to Legundo being a knight, he just thinks they make him more attractive. To Scott, the scars suit Legs much more than they do himself, and they make him unique.)

Sometimes I'm like. "Nah Bloodletting isn't really that canon or anything." And then I remember Owen literally compares Legundo to Louis and says he wants him to be like him and (even though I think it was delivered poorly) Owen literally says "it was wrong of me to think you could replace Louis" and TBH I think I need to hit myself over the head because literally. What the fuck else are you supposed to take away from that. That bitch was GAY FOR THE DOCTOR FOR REAL.
I think it's funny that IRL Legundo says he was the one who leaned into it more, because meta-wise yes, he did. He talks about shipping and hints to it in video titles and stuff, while to my knowledge Owen doesn't talk about any kind of shipping at all.
But in the actual episodes themselves? Owen is the one feeding it. Legundo, in the actual series, basically just rejects Owen (even though Owen was mostly done with him at that point anyway), and that's the extent of his thoughts we actually get.
I mean, IRL Legundo can say the Doc was queer (not that he's said it explicitly but if you've seen the first thirty seconds or the Veinbound stream, you know. So take that with a grain of salt) but in the actual series itself, he doesn't express any kind of feelings towards Owen. Legundo doesn't do anything that made me go "yes, he has some kind of non-platonic interest in Owen" but Owen does that several times.
Owen genuinely was such a freak for Legs lol. A lot of other people have said it before but Legundo could have had what he had with Owen with multiple other people in the cast (Cleo and Pyro come to mind) had the circumstances shook out in the right way. At the end of the day his main goal was just to help everyone he could, no matter who it was, and perhaps find redemption in those who shared a similar past or mindset to him.
Owen on the other hand? It’s hard to think of *any* other character he could’ve had such a similarly intense dynamic to with Legs, that weird mix of… hostility but also (to begin with) tenderness, possessiveness almost to the point of objectification, all at the same time holding him to a higher regard than anyone else in the cast. Maybe Shelby if she’d stayed human a bit longer? Maybe Ren if he hadn’t rejected Owen’s offer so harshly and refused to be on good terms with *any* of the vampires?? But even then I think their dynamics still would have been notably different, I think Legs’s personality and position in the town played a very important role in how Owen interacted with him.
Even post-episode 6 when Owen gave up on thinking Legs could be a replacement Louis, it’s obvious he didn’t really get *over* him. There are multiple instances where the camera lingers on him in silence, he becomes overly defensive when Avid guesses that he has a soft spot for the doc, he specifically names Legs as the person he wants to talk to about the responsibility of Avid’s murder, and he immediately takes his answer of “no” as final when all the other townsfolk were collectively like “yeah sure why not.” And he does risky things that could be interpreted as trying to draw Legs out too, like deconsecrating the town beacon all by himself. (all of this is so funny to me too because like. you murdered him Owen. you’re basically leading the charge in pushing the vampires into an all-out war against the humans Owen. why are you acting so confused and desperate that Legs isn’t going out of his way to talk to you like he was before).
Don’t even get me started on the finale. Even in their Ultimate Final Divorce scene he just isn’t capable of being normal about him. Forcing vampirism on him and screaming that you want him to live forever with his sins and you won’t allow him to die and then, after seeing how upset he is, immediately changing your mind and offering to “undo it now” even though it’d ruin your plans to have Oakhurst massacred in your absence. Why.
It really makes the doc’s story all the more tragic but in like a funny way. His only mistake was pretty much just being nice to the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time and then he found himself caught up in this whirlwind of a situationship with the most homicidal and clingy man on the planet. Sometimes I wonder if he ever regretted chasing after him in episode 3

still on my bloodloathing divorce au nonsense, these awful men are consuming me.
have this, a look at the early days of Scott and Legundo's relationship.
****
It had been another long evening of conversation. Legundo worked away in the room that had been converted into an improvised laboratory, while Scott sat on the couch and pretended to help. Mostly he just pestered Legundo, asking countless questions and throwing far too much flirtation his way. But Legundo could not bring himself to begrudge the young man. He knew what a mask over deep loneliness looked like, he saw the way Scott's brow would furrow as they sat at his mother's bedside and watched another attempt fail. Legundo could weather the young man's misguided affections, if it meant he could keep trying to help. The Lady Goldsmith was not his only patient in the Castle, after all.
That night, Legs had been testing a new concoction. He had taken a small sample of Lady Goldsmith's blood — he'd held his breath as he made the delicate incision, he would not let himself be distracted by the intoxicating scent of human blood — and was applying small drops of the mixture to it, watching how it reacted. Scott had joined him after dinner, as he usually did, bringing a plate piled high with decedent foods with him. He had placed the plate at Legundo's side, and reminded him that he was always welcome to join him at the dinner table. Legs lied easily, that he had already eaten, and that he needed to focus on his work. Scott never took the cue to leave. Instead, the noble sat himself down on the couch, lounging comfortably, and easily picked up wherever their last conversation had left off.
The conversation that evening had dragged on long into the night. Despite his frustrations with the young man's eccentricities, Legundo had to admit he found Scott very easy to converse with. He was educated and quick witted, and matched Legundo blow for verbal blow. Scott seemed to take Legs' disinterest as a challenge, and every eye roll and heavy sigh was met with a further cheeky comment and a laugh. It was… frustratingly charming. But as night began to threaten to turn closer to morning, the conversation had been interjected with longs stretches of silence, until finally Legundo looked over his shoulder and saw that Scott's head was tipped back against the couch cushions, and his eyes were blinking so slowly they were more closed than open.
"You should get some sleep," he said softly. Scott lazily lifted a manicured brow at him. Legundo tried not to be endeared by the gesture. He gently set down the vial he was holding, and turned to face Scott fully.
"But, Doctor," Scott muttered, "I find myself simply too tired to walk. However will I make it to my bedchambers in this state?" The slur of his words was clearly performative, but he could not fake the bleariness of his eyes. Legs scoffed softly.
"I'm not carrying you, you fool," he said, and internally cringed at the fondness he heard creeping into his own voice. He shouldn't be letting himself grow attached like that. Even if he ignored everything else, Scott was so young, barely half Legundo's physical age. The flirtatious teasing was just that, teasing. An annoyance that he could endure. He couldn't let it get under his skin, couldn't let affection worm it's way into him. He was a monster, in more ways than one, and he could not inflict that on anyone else.
Scott smirked up at him from the couch, and Legundo clenched his jaw.
"Come now, Master Goldsmith," he said, once the initial swirl of emotion was sufficiently contained. "I will deign to escort you to your chambers, but you must walk on your own two feet."
He extended a gloved hand in offer towards the noble. Scott swung his legs gracefully off the couch, and placed his hand gently on Legundo's outstretched palm. The warmth of fresh blood seeped through the thick leather of Legs' gloves, and he clamped down the instinctual roll of hunger. Scott held heavy eye contact as he rose slowly to his feet, teal eyes sparkling with mischief even through his weariness. There was a different edge to the next wave of hunger that hit Legundo, and he shut that down just as firmly as the last.
Scott did not release his hand once he was on his feet. Legundo could not bring himself to separate them either.
"You are a kind man, Doctor," Scott muttered. There was an interesting inflection in the words, like it was something Scott was only just realising, and he didn't know how to feel about it. His eyes — those unnaturally bright and brilliantly sharp irises — searched Legundo's face, brow pinched with curiosity and confusion.
"I try to be," Legundo replied softly, weariness of his own beginning to seep into his bones.
Neither of them moved for a moment, until Scott slowly titled his chin. He was appraising Legundo, like he was fine portrait he wished to add to his collection. The scrutiny made Legs' skin crawl, but not in the way he expected. He felt Scott's gaze like trailing fingers across his skin, a caress of attention. Legundo did not like to be observed. The more people looked at him, the more likely they were to see the truth. Scott could obviously see the discomfort he was causing Legundo. After one more long look, the noble smiled and slowly, deliberately stepped back.
Legundo was almost drawn with him. He had not realised just how close they had become, until space appeared between them. He resisted the magnetic draw that was Scott Goldsmith. But only just.
Or so he thought.
.
A near millennium later, Legundo would look back on that moment as the point of no return.
Despite it all, despite the lies and the bloodshed and the fury, he would think back to those quite evenings. Before he had revealed the truth of his nature, and Scott had revealed the truth of his intentions. Before the kisses and the bites and the mistakes and the screaming matches. Back when he had been trying so desperately not to fall in love with Scott Goldsmith.
'You are a kind man,' Scott had said.
'You could have been, too,' Legundo still thought.

A/N: I'm gonna put the snippets I've written for this AU on AO3 at some point for archival purposes, just trying to figure out if I should post each as a separate fic in a series, or just as chapters of a single fic. They're all pretty short so I dunno if they justify having their own fics, but they're all different enough they could work individually. I dunno. Anyway, hope you enjoyed, I'm sure there'll be more, this au is BURNING in my brain rn
This AU won’t leave my mind apparently. Go my bloodloathing bullshit (more royalty AU)
The ask/mini fic from yesterday got me thinking about my own interpretation of Scott’s turning from when I wrote the initial post, so I wanna try and expand on it. Originally the major thought I had regarding it was that unlike canon vsmp, his turning was an accident that Scott barely survived, only doing so because Legs was able to protect him.
I imagine a visitor from another Kingdom arrives at the castle on a diplomatic mission. Something about establishing ties with them, possibly an arranged marriage for Scott (as Lizzie and Eloise already have royal partners). It’s something he’s the opposite of happy about, so while him, his father, the visitor, and the two personal guards (Legundo and the person protecting the King) are discussing things, he’s very outwardly hostile about the idea, only spreading frustration.
His attitude only makes the guest angrier than they would like to be. They were sent here to manipulate their way into control, possibly thrall the King and/or Queen, and to unsuspiciously ‘eliminate’ Lizzie and Eloise, leaving Scott as the heir and whoever he ends up betrothed to in control of their kingdom, with Scott’s death to follow suit after their marriage and coronation.
The anger leads to violence very quickly.
The King, closer in proximity to the guest, would be the first to die. It’s almost instant, sharp teeth and claws ripping his life away and shooting their vampire guest up to level 2. The King’s knight is badly injured despite their armour and the silver accents that are upon all of their kingdom’s armour. With the original plan thrown out of the window, Scott becomes their next target.
Legundo protects him as best he can (being hurt in the process*) but Scott suffers a nasty bite before he’s able to fight them off and ‘fatally’ wound them, sending their body back to wherever they came from. He’s in disbelief, but more than that, he’s concerned about Scott, the truth about what he’s become quickly falling into place.
He treats the surface wounds, and the three survivors are able to tell the tale, but Scott is forever changed.
*Possibly this is where Legs’ face scar comes from in this timeline. He’s already scarred from various injuries, training and previous knight duties, but the one across his face is an important one that I wanna give special relevance to
