This now sets up for a ton of articles about how serious they are and how they’re looking for a new place to buy together for a fresh start. I wouldn’t be surprised if we start getting the engagement and kids articles too. It feels like they’re setting up for that last big media push before we get a bua.

She has been posting way too many glimpses of a hand, a knee, or a shoe along with the bf mentions for this to not be a last desperate attempt at relevancy before it goes away.

Harry and Olivia were spotted outside a realtors office about 4 months before the bua dropped and if they are going by the same game book they always have, that sighting of Louis and Zara outside a realtors would be 4 months before the stunt turns 18 months old in September like so many have predicted.

Nothing about any of this is a coincidence.

I thought I’d read that it was set up that way, but this article doesn’t mention Liam as owning any part of the company.

THE One Direction boys are still making a huge sum of money from their time in the band – despite not releasing any music for 11 years.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson jointly own a company called 1D Media Ltd, which is continuing to generate income from the group’s back catalogue.

The annual accounts for the 2025 year state that the company’s cash deposits increased from £1.7 million to £2.7 million.

As well as this, the net assets climbed to a huge £3.4 million

1️⃣ Yes, to this day they are still continuously generating quite a good chunk of money with 1D Media Ltd.. We can't see much in the Financial Statements (Accounts) anymore, though, because since 2020, 1D Media Ltd. is considered a Small Company again and all Accounts are abridged (showing only basics), no profits after tax, no details on what the income is generated from, no info on renumeration or cash flow between the companies, no business/strategy plan, nothing. :(

1D Media Ltd. was incorporated by Irish accountant Alan McEvoy (*1966) on 15 Dec 2010. (Alan's business address is in Ireland). The company’s stated nature of business at the Companies House is “Performing arts”.

On 4 April 2016 (filed on 11 April 2016) all five boys resigned as directors of the company, leaving them only shareholders and controllers (PSCs). Company incorporator and Irish accountant Alan McEvoy (*1966) was back in the saddle as director, plus now also lawyer Lawrence Engel (*1971).

To this day, Louis, Harry, Liam, and Niall are still the sole shareholders of 1D Media Ltd.. with 100 shares each. Louis, Harry, Liam, and Niall were also still the controllers (PSC), meaning they decide what happens with said shares (money).

Liam’s cessation as controller (PSC)* was filed on 6 Feb 2025; backdated to the day of his passing, 16 Oct 2024. 💔 Posthumously, he still remains a shareholder. I suspect that all of his company shares were part of his will, but I don’t want to speculate any further on that. In any case, they should be part of his estate. As previously mentioned, Liam's estate doesn't include the role of a Director anymore and to this day, nobody from Liam's estate has been filed for a role in any of the 1D companies.

Louis, Harry, and Niall are now the sole controllers (PSC) of the company.

So yes, Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam's estate are still gaining pretty steady income with that company and it looks to me like they don't take out much of the money each year, but as I said before - we cannot see much of anything with abridged Financial Statements (Accounts).

2️⃣ When we are talking about Liam and 1D companies, we also have to mention this one:

PPM Music Ltd. (The name stands for Princess Park Manor, the private gated complex they were moved into when they won the show.) was incorporated by Harry, Louis, Liam, Niall, and Zayn (named Zain) on 12 Dec 2011, with the listed occupation as Entertainers. The company’s stated nature of business at the Companies House is “Performing arts”. It is the company for 1D themselves as artists and songwriters (like LT Publishing Ltd. is for Louis and also like HSA Publishing Ltd. is for Harry). In all of 1D’s album booklets you can see it saying that each song which at least one member of 1D has written on, is copyrighted by this company and each yearly Turnover in the Financial Statements (Accounts) should include their publishing royalties.

We can barely see anything in the Financial Statements (Accounts), though, because since 2020 PPM Music Ltd. is considered a Micro Company again and all Accounts are only showing the bare bones numbers.

On 31 Dec 2022 (but only filed on 18 Jan 2023), Niall, Liam, Louis, and Harry all resigned as directors of the company, leaving them only shareholders and controllers (PSCs). Irish accountant Alan McEvoy (*1966) and lawyer Lawrence Engel (*1971) were both appointed as directors (just like with 1D Media Ltd.).

Also, we have no idea how much they see each other. If you go through the monthly timelines, there are weeks on end that one or both of them are MIA. They could easily be together a lot more than you think. Yes, this last month has been difficult because they have both been touring. But if you look back over the last couple years, it’s rare they’ve had a month like this. Most months they were either both or at least one of them MIA for large chunks of it.

But, beyond that, The End of The Innocence was the last album Henley released with Geffen Records in 1989.

Don Henley’s band, The Eagles was originally managed by David Geffen and signed to Asylum Records. They sued him in 1977 alleging that

“Geffen was leveraging a conflict of interest and allegedly manipulating his role as their manager to shoehorn deals that ultimately profited his own company, Asylum Records. At this point, he wasn’t operating solely as a manager, advising career decisions and fielding off corporate advances, but was in fact facilitating them.”

Despite leaving Geffen and signing with Irving Azoff (frying pan into the fire?), when Henley went solo, he wound up signed to Geffen Records. But it was ultimately an unhappy match.

“It’s not like he was struggling by any metric, but considering the kind of numbers that he could have been raking in for singles like ‘The Boys of Summer’ or even the massive album statement of The End of the Innocence, he felt he was only being given pennies compared to what the rest of his contemporaries were getting. And it’s not like he was exactly subtle about it, either. By the time that The End of the Innocence press tour began, Henley had no problem badmouthing Geffen for stifling him for years on end, saying, “I guaran-fucking-tee you I’ll be on the market after the next two albums. I want out. They’re nickel and diming me to death. [David] Geffen has one set of rules that apply to him and one set of rules that apply to everyone else.”

Enacted to prevent employers from binding workers to indefinite or modern-day indentured servitude, the statute states that personal service contracts of a unique or intellectual nature cannot be enforced past seven years of active service

The Music Industry Loophole

The 1987 RIAA Amendment: Lobbying by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) created a special exception for sound recordings. Because record deals are structured around delivering a set number of albums rather than a fixed timeline, labels argued that a sudden seven-year exit cheated them out of massive investments. [1]

The Catch: While an artist can technically stop recording for a label after seven years, the label retains the right to sue them for financial damages (such as projected profits) if they failed to deliver their full quota of contracted albums before leaving. [1, 2]

Recent Legislative Pushback: Efforts like California's proposed FAIR Act (Assembly Bill 983 / AB 2926) sought to repeal this recording-industry exception and fully free musicians after seven years, though the bill stalled in legislative committees amid heavy label opposition.

I don't know if Harry and Louis are preparing any sort of legal battle, or if it's just a comment on Don Henley leaving Geffen after that album was released. But I do find it interesting that H fulfilled his three-album deal within seven years.

Obviously, we're into a fourth album cycle and ten years of being signed to Sony (and Full Stop). I'm still thinking about the clothing H and L have been wearing lately.
