"Considering how much worse things could have been, I'm sure it'll be all healed up by the time I get back to work tomorrow." A good night's sleep and he'd hopefully forget all about this embarrassing incident. "I feel you on that one. It seems like days are never ending sometimes."

izzie nodded her head and smiled. "well that's good. we can't have one of our best surgeons off their feet." she said and then sighed. "i feel like all my days lately are never ending, but you know that's life i guess."

"Everything is fine. Only thing wounded here is my pride. But thanks, Iz, I appreciate your confidence." Last thing he needed was the whole hospital finding out and him getting some stupid nickname about being a klutz. "You done for the day, too?"

"Anytime Jackson, glad you're okay. Other than your pride of course, but I'm sure that will be fine in no time." She laughed, trying to lighten up the mood and then nodded her head. "Yeah, thank god. Today was a busy day and I'm ready for it to be over."

Amber nodded and took a seat before pulling a face. "Should I be scared of you? You part of some pretty blonde murder cult?" she joked, but at the same time she was curious. "Well since I'm now classified as a friend, Amber Karev." She placed her lunch in front of her and held a hand out for her to shake.

Izzie took another bite of her food, as the other blonde sat down across from her and then shook her head with a slight laugh. "No, not part of some murder cult, you don't have to worry about that one. Cancer survivor, long time ago but people still look at me like i'm carrying the plague or something." the blonde reached out her hand to shake and then got stuck when the blonde said her name. "Karev? Alex's sister?" She smiled and shook her hand, before clearing her throat. "I'm Izzie Stevens, it's nice to meet you."

He was almost out of the hospital doors when Jackson realized he'd left his car keys back in his locker. He was pretty sure he'd forget his head if it wasn't attached to his shoulders. Letting out a soft sigh, not relishing having to walk all the way back to the locker room to grab his stuff when all he wanted to do was head home, he wasn't paying much attention as he made his way up the stairs when he missed one and nearly fell. Looking around, he spotted someone nearby and his cheeks started to turn pink. "Well, that could have ended a whole lot worse. Think we can keep this embarrassing moment to ourselves?"

izzie was about to head home for the night and wasn't quite paying attention until she heard someone else in front of her. she saw jackson and then she saw him miss one of the stairs. "my lips are sealed. is your ankle okay? but trust me, i've seen a lot more embarssing things than that."

Amber stood in line in the cafeteria, a banana and ham sandwich in hand before she stepped up to pay, making sure to grab the bag of taki's beside the register before paying and making her way toward one of the tables. "This seat taken?"

izzie was reading a medical journal and deep in her thoughts, when she looked up and shook her head. "no, go ahead. i think people are still scared of me, even though i've been back here for years. so really only my friends sit with me." izzie laughed and took a bite of her lunch.
