Summary: Mafia marriages aren't about love, but that doesn't mean you have to have low expectations for your future husband.
A/N: Reader is big, tall, female. No other physical descriptors used.
Warnings: Body shaming. Please let me know if I missed any!
In the game that is genetics you know you've lost. Most women take after their mother in terms of build. You took after your father. While any man would kill to be so tall and broad, it was social suicide for a woman.
You'd gotten your first taste of that when your "friends" went on a shopping spree for their birthday and you were the only one unable to try on any clothes as they were all too small. You'd grown too big for your mother's clothes and shoes by the time you were 13. None of the big name labels ever carried the latest fashion in your size. You'd had to stop trying because of the bile that rose in your throat every time the store assistant saw you come in with a look of fear, or worse, contempt.
Money could do so many things, but it couldn't make your body socially acceptable. Not without major surgeries that you were simply not willing to undergo.
Besides, at least a woman of your size wouldn't have to worry about the old men in your father's syndicate making unwanted advances. They prefer the small, petite girls that they actually have a chance of overpowering.
Still, a woman of your status was expected to marry well for your father's business. You tried, honestly you did, to get the attention of someone who would make father look good. You know better than to expect love, of course, but it would be nice to find someone who didn't immediately dismiss you when they saw you weren't wearing heels but were still eye level with them.
Honestly, the temptation to give in to the men who wanted you to step on them was getting harder and harder to fight. They'd promise you money, jewelry, custom made clothing and lingerie, just let them use your body how they wanted. All the while they made it clear you would just be a sex toy to them, not a person. You know love isn't an option but respect shouldn't be so hard to find.
It was quite the duality to have a body that was simultaneously seen as "unfit" and also fetishized.
So it was that, when your father called you into his office to tell you there had been offer for your hand, you were surprised and nervous.
"He's a former federal agent who helped our family get through some dicey times," Father explains. "He's out of the legit game, early retirement or whatever. But he's willing to continue helping us out with his connections so long as he gets you."
"I understand, Father," you nod. "Though I'm surprised you trust him enough. He betrayed his agency, why wouldn't he betray the family?"
"That's another reason I'm giving you to him. I trust you and I know where your loyalties lie."
"We'll probably have to come up with some new phrases," you nod.
"That's my girl," Father smiles. "He's asked you to meet him at your future home. Says he wants to get your opinion on things so he can get things renovated or fixed up before the wedding."
"That's...quite considerate of him," you blink. "What's his name?"
"August Walker."
The car pulls up to the townhouse you'll be moving into after the wedding. The exterior is quite plain but, if Mr. Walker can be expected to keep his word, you'll have a say in changing that.
When your car door opens, you're surprised to be greeted by your future husband, offering his hand to help you out of your seat.
"Thank you," you smile softly as you take his hand.
Stepping out of the car, you make sure to not put too much of your weight onto him, forever mindful that many cannot handle your size. But there is a strength in his arm that makes you wonder if he could.
Mr. Walker kisses the back of your hand and your cheeks heat up, unused to such gentlemanly behavior.
"I know this isn't a mansion or a penthouse, but I do hope the townhouse will be sufficient for you," he smiles. "Especially after all of your requested changes are made. I've got Mr. Carter, a local construction supervisor whom I trust, and who your father recommended, already inside, ready to take notes."
"Thank you, Mr. Walker."
"August, please. We will be married after all, and I would prefer my wife call me by my first name."
"I understand," you nod.
His lip twitches and you're not sure if it's in amusement or annoyance.
"Shall we?" he gestures to the front door.
"Please."
When you're inside, it's clear the townhouse is an older construction and you feel a slight thrill. You admire the custom work done that have withstood time. The contemporary style of everything being sleek, shiny and white has never appealed to you. Testing the waters of your fiance's promises to listen to you, you make sure to state aloud the fixtures you'd like to keep. You're pleased to not hear any arguments from Walker on the matter.
As the tour continues, you grow bolder, asking about replacing things that can't be kept with something similar in terms of style. Mr. Carter says he knows a very good woodworker who can provide some estimates and you find yourself smiling.
Every so often you catch a glimpse of Walker and you swear he's smiling more as you're going on.
"And now, for the final part of the tour," Walker takes your hand again, "the main reason I sought this house."
When he opens the final door you enter into a two-story tall library, making you gasp. You almost feel like Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
"The shelves are empty, waiting for the books you currently own and, hopefully, there will be enough room for future books you should seek to purchase," August informs you. "My own books will remain in my office and this will entire library will be yours."
"August..." you whisper.
"I have seen other men attempt to woo you with gold and riches," he explains. "But you are no Atalanta, distracted by shiny things. You are a woman who craves intelligence more than money or power. Our lives are not given to expectations of love, but having a wife I can respect? That's a very good start, in my book."
You beam at him, almost teary eyed, "and having a husband who can genuinely make me smile is far more than I could have ever expected. Thank you, August."
Now this is a match I can get behind. He came correct when courting her. You can tell he did his research and found what she likes and her overall taste. A man who put in effort we love to see it. I think we will be happily married.

Lloyd Hansen has retired. He's trying to appreciate the finer things in life and along the way he joins Scrabble tournaments and quickly becomes a champion. But then he finds his title threatened by you!
Preternaturally Annoying
Warnings: Asshole Lloyd. Please let me know if I missed any!
A/N: Reader is plus sized, female. No other physical descriptors used.
"Don't use 'preternatural'," Lloyd scoffs. "That's an asshole word."
"You're just pissed that I got a triple word score off your 'tern'," you retort.
Lloyd grumbles under his breath. He really thought he'd burned that square for you.
When Lloyd had been told he needed to retire or he'd be thrown into prison, he'd opted for the safer route, even if it was more boring. But he hadn't been prepared for just how boring.
He'd ended up finding himself walking into the library just to try to find something to do and that's when he spotted you working the reference desk. Not his usual type, but he had to admit those hips combined with the cardigan and hair tied up really did something for him.
Especially when you kept shooting him down. No matter what he did, you never gave in. Never gave him what he wanted. You were a challenge. You were interesting.
When he found out you were running a Scrabble Tournament he signed up for it, knowing it would force you to interact with him. He wasn't expecting to be good at it, let alone enjoying the outlet for his competitiveness. He even took the time to research the best words to use for unusual letters.
And yet, you're still kicking his ass. If you weren't in a public place, he wouldn't be spending so much energy into hiding his erection.
You told yourself, this was the last time. One last time, you’d give your father the chance to prove that he cares about you.
He let you down so many times in the past that you could fill books with all the tears and heartbreak he caused.
Missed birthdays, graduations, and milestones. This was the last straw. Your wedding with the man picking you up whenever you fell.
“Come on, just call him. We need to know if he got the invitation and wants to show up for you for once,” your fiancé encouraged you. He was the one who always stood by your side and wanted you to have your family with you at your wedding.
“He will come up with yet another excuse,” you sighed deeply. You gave up on your father a long time ago. For years, he did everything in his power to attend every school play, birthday party, or soccer game for his stepdaughter. You were only an afterthought after he remarried.
“If you don’t call him, you’ll never know. I know you went low contact with your father, but give it a try. This is his last chance. He’s family, and you’ll regret it if he doesn’t walk you down the aisle.”
“Fine,” you said, already knowing your father would disappoint you again. “I’ll call him. He won’t come; I know it.”
“We have a backup plan if he screws up,” Tony smirked, making you go weak in the knees. “Jarvis would be over the moon walking you down the aisle.”
“I won’t let one of your suits walk me down the aisle, Tons.” You pouted and sighed again. A little louder this time. “I wouldn’t mind letting Thor do the job.”
“Thor?” Tony hiccupped. “You want the guy smashing everything with his hammer to walk my bride down the aisle?”
“He’s nice and charming,” you pointed out, enjoying. “Or we could ask Steve.”
“Rogers won’t lay a hand on my wife,” Tony quickly said. “I don’t trust the golden boy. He’s hiding something. I know it.”
“Aw, you are so sexy when you’re jealous.” You patted his cheek and chuckled. “I only love you, Tons. You know that. Captain America doesn’t stand a chance against you, baby.”
Tony puffed his chest and wrapped his arms around you. He sighed and kissed the top of your head. “I know you can’t even think of another man. Why taste a burger if you can have a filet mignon?”
“You’re so full of yourself,” you teased and playfully swatted his chest. “Okay. I’ll call him. It’s your fault if he breaks my heart again.”
“I’ll break him down to nothing if he dares to hurt you.” Tony kisses your temple, silently praying that your father won’t let you down for once.
“Hello,” your father huffed into the phone. “What can I do for you?” He sounded annoyed because you dared to call him. “What do you need this time?”
You already regretted calling your father. His annoying tone alone made you angry, but you promised Tony to give it a try. And you hate to disappoint the love of your life.
“Did you get my invitation? I need to know if you want to come. You can bring a plus one too,” you nervously said, clutching Tony’s hand for dear life.
There was a pause at the other end of the line, long enough to make you want to give up. Then he sighed like you were a burden to him. “About that,” he muttered, “I won’t be able to make it.”
You closed your eyes for a second, holding back the scoff that wanted to escape your throat. “You’re missing my wedding,” you murmured. “Why?”
“My hands are tied,” he replied. “Your sister has her engagement party that day, and her mother already booked everything. You know how important this is.”
You laughed bitterly. Of course, he would choose her again. Your father had known your wedding date for months, and somehow your stepsister had still planned her engagement party on the very same day.
“You my wedding date in advance. For months,” you whispered. “I wanted to make sure you’d find the time for me.”
“Don’t make this harder than it needs to be,” your father snapped, making you flinch. “I’m sure you can handle a wedding without me.”
That was it. The last little piece of hope you held onto shattered completely. Your fingers tightened around the phone, but your voice came out calm.
“You know what?” you said. “Don’t worry about it. I think Tony and I will manage just fine without you there. Who needs a father to walk her down the aisle, right?”
You hung up without waiting for a response.
You let out a choked-out sob before the tears came hot and fast. You hated that your father could still do this to you—still make you feel like a child begging for scraps of affection he had never given to you.
Tony pulled you against his chest. He held you tightly, giving you time to tell him what your father said.
“He’s not coming,” you choked out, your words muffled against his shirt. “He chose her engagement party over me. Over our wedding, Tony. I told you so.”
Tony’s arms tightened around you. “Then he’s not welcome in our lives any longer,” he said. “He’s not worth a single tear. I want you to take a deep breath and tell him to get fucked.”
“I didn’t have much hope, you know. But I thought maybe this time would be different.”
“He doesn’t matter, darling. Only you matter to me. I have no one left either. We will celebrate our wedding with our chosen family, okay.” Tony whispered against your cheek, feeling his eyes burn. He wished to take your pain away, but he couldn’t.
Your wedding day arrived with newfound confidence and clarity. You’d never make the mistake of having faith in your father again.
Pepper and Natasha helped you get ready while Wanda checked on the door, refusing to let Tony inside to see you before the ceremony.
“Tony is a disaster,” Natasha informed you. “Happy had to stop him from sneaking into the room at least six times.”
Somehow, these people, your chosen family, made you forget about your absent father. Today, you’d leave the past behind and only allow people who cherished you to stay in your life.
“It’s time,” Wanda said, tapping her watch. “If we let him wait for another minute, he might use force and break into the room.”
You nodded and walked out of the room, your bridesmaid flanking your sides as if you were about to go to war. Well, with the Avengers around, you never knew.
“You look beautiful, my lady.” Thor was quick to offer his arm to you. It was a hard decision whom you wanted to choose to walk you down the aisle. In the end, you chose Thor because he was the eldest among the Avengers. He took the insult coming from Tony with grace, laughing and proudly telling you his age.
“I’m a little nervous,” you murmured, holding tight onto Thor’s arm. “What if Tony hates the dress? What if he panics and runs?”
“If he runs, I’d gladly step in,” Thor casually said while guiding you along the hallways. “I’m sure he’ll be there.” He was quick to add.
When you entered the room, you gasped loudly. Tony was waiting at the far end of the aisle, dressed to the nines to impress you. Tony’s breath caught; he clutched his chest before a smile lit up his whole face.
“She’s going to be the death of me,” he muttered under his breath, but Steve and Bucky heard him. The super-soldiers chuckled, but envied Tony at the same time. They had yet to find their soulmate.
Tony didn’t wait for you to walk down the aisle with Thor. He crossed the distance with steady steps and held out his hand. “May I take it from here?” he asked Thor, furrowing his brows.
The Asgardian chuckled and gave you to Tony, stepping aside to let the two of you have your moment. “May the all-father bless this union.” He said and sat down next to his raven-haired brother. “Behave, and don’t try one of your tricks.”
“I wouldn’t dare,” Loki replied, mischief in his eyes. He planned to cause chaos but decided against it. “But we could turn her father into a lizard.”
“I’d support your suggestion,” Thor whispered lowly. Of course, word spread fast. Everyone knew about your father and his refusal to attend your wedding.
Together, you and Tony walked down the aisle. You didn’t miss your father or your stepmother. Your chosen family watched you in awe while you savored every step you took toward a future with Tony.
They tried to hold back tears, but when you reached the end of the aisle and started with your vows, most of the combat-experienced Avengers were sniffling and crying happy tears.
“You never let me fall,” you whispered, squeezing Tony’s hands. “Whenever the world was cruel, you were kind and loving. You made me feel seen after I felt like I’m invisible for all my life. I’m not standing here because I love you.” People gasped before you continued. “I’m standing here because you are my home, my heart, my everything.”
“Wimps,” Loki commented. “Why are they crying?”
“Shush,” Natasha elbowed the trickster. “It’s sweet, and Y/N deserves the best. Her father is a piece of work.”
The rest of the ceremony was sweet, intimate, and full of the kind of love that made your heart flutter. Tony looked at you the whole time. He barely understood a word the officiant said. All he could hear was the beating of his own heart when he looked at you in your wedding dress.
“Yes!” He said, looking at the officiant. “It was my turn, right?”
You chuckled. “Yeah, it was, Tony.”
By the time the officiant pronounced you married, Steve was pretending very hard not to glance at his best friend, Bucky was nervously shifting in his seat, and Thor was crying ugly.
Tony was already kissing you before you exchanged the rings. You didn’t mind at all. Smiling against his lips, you let Tony wrap his arms around you.
Your found family clapped their hands, whistled, or sniffled. Even Loki felt a tug at his heart watching you and Tony exchange rings. “So, she’s Stark’s now?”
“She always was, brother,” Thor said. “Don’t start anything.”
“We really should turn her father into a lizard.” Steve’s words caught Loki off guard. He glanced at the super-soldier, his mouth curving upward. “Let’s have a meeting later, Captain.”
The news of Tony Stark’s wedding spread fast. Your faces were plastered all over New York City and beyond.
It didn’t matter to you. Most of the people already knew you were going to become Tony Stark’s wife. Everyone but a few people.
You came home from your honeymoon glowing, your heart much lighter, and for the first time in years you didn’t care about your father. He was in the past, Tony, and your chosen family were the future.
Then your phone started ringing. An unknown number, followed by emails from an unknown account. You usually ignore messages and calls from unknown accounts. Though they wouldn’t stop.
Around two weeks after you returned from your honeymoon, you finally had enough. Tony was standing behind you when you opened the first message.
I didn’t realize who you were marrying.
“Wow, he has a way with words, huh?” Tony commented to soften the blow. “I would’ve started with, I’m sorry I was a dumbass and didn’t attend your wedding. Or I’m sorry I hurt you.”
“That would have been too much to ask for, Tons,” you said, while cold clarity turned your heart to ice. The man calling himself your father didn’t care that he hurt you. He only cared that Tony Stark was your husband.
“I should’ve allowed Loki to turn him into a lizard,” Tony said. He didn’t joke. If it weren’t against the law to turn people into lizards or to kill people, he’d have your father’s head.
“Don’t waste your energy on him.” You deleted the message, and all the others are waiting for a response. “Can you please block him on everything? I don’t want him to use burner phones or stuff to reach me.”
“Leave this to me.” Tony wrapped his arms around you from behind and kissed your neck. “Consider it done. He’ll never bother you again.”
Your silence wasn’t enough. Your father showed up at the Avengers’ tower a week later. He tried to fight with security, demanding to see his daughter.
Tony sighed when he saw him on one of the security screens. He was tempted to allow Loki to turn your father into a bug or worse.
Your husband clenched his jaw, trying to decide what to do with your father when you walked into his office, glancing at the monitor.
“No.”
“Security has it handled. He won’t reach you.” Tony assured you, but you still started to sniffle. “Hey. No tears for that bastard.”
“How dare he come here! What does he think he is?”
“He’s no one, darling.”
“I will tell him to get lost,” you said, turning to leave.
“Absolutely not,” Tony said.
“I can handle him,” you said, though you struggled not to cry.
Tony came to stand beside you, taking your hand to kiss it. “I know you can,” he murmured. “But you don’t have to do it alone anymore. We are a team. Team Sexy Husband.”
You chuckled and gave Tony a cracked smile. “Alright. We’ll do this together.”
The second your father saw Tony at your side, he put on his best fake smile. He offered a bouquet of pink roses, trying to act like a decent father.
“I just wanted to congratulate you both in person,” he said, thrusting the bouquet toward Tony, not you. “I had no idea. If I’d known… well, ...” Your father stumbled over his words.
“If you had known I was going to marry Tony Stark, not some nobody—or how did your precious stepdaughter call my husband on social media?”
Your father swallowed thickly. “I mean… I would have been there.”
“Wow. When I thought you couldn’t fuck up even worse, you do just that,” you huffed. “You’re not here to say sorry that you missed my wedding. You’re sorry you missed Tony Stark’s wedding.”
Tony watched your father grovel with cold determination. He decided a long time ago to never allow your father to hurt you again.
“You know, Y/N invited you because I asked her to call you. She hoped, against all odds, that you might act like her father on her wedding day,” he said. “You refused. Our wedding happened without you, and so will the rest of our lives. You’ll never see your daughter or,” Tony looked at you, adoration in his eyes when his hand found your middle, “your grandchildren.”
Your father’s eyes flicked between the two of you, realization settling in. “But…she’s my daughter.”
“Then you should have acted like it before you knew I married Tony Stark,” you replied. “Now you’re nothing but a sperm donor to me. Never contact me again, or you and your lovely wife and stepdaughter will hear from my lawyer. Goodbye.”
Tony guided you away from your father, gesturing to security to have him removed. He’ll make sure your father stays out of your life.
Tony could still let Loki take matters into his hands…
What a douche bag of course he’s interested now that he sees she’s married to money bags but before he couldn’t care less. What a joke. I’m glad they dropped him and he will live with that regret for the rest of his life. Let his new family keep being the only family he has since he acted like his biological child didn’t exist.

Graduated on Sat the 9th when I tell you I’m happy to be done with my degree and have no schoolwork you just don’t understand. It took me a minute to get my degree but I got it and I have no student loan debt. I’m leaning towards continuing and getting another degree this coming fall/spring and then be done completely. I graduated with a 4.0 and honors. Do I have the mental bandwidth to continue is what I keep asking myself. Just wanted to share that life update if anyone was interested. I’ve been MIA because of school but now my free time has opened back up so I can read more and get caught up on fics.
Summary: Being in a casual relationship with a Detective seemed like the perfect idea at the time. But as a series of murders start in the city, you’re forced to not only get closer to a man that’s easy to fall for, but confront a part of your life you spent years trying to avoid.
The alarm blares in the early morning hour, reaching the recess of your brain, gently lulling you out of your dream state.
You turn over slowly, the soft sheets rippling against your skin. You crack open an eye when you feel the bed move.
You lazily watch him sit up, stretching out his arms as he yawned. His toned arms flexed as he stretched a bit, his abdomen barely peeking from underneath the sheets when he reached over to turn off the alarm. You admire the view for a moment before slowly sitting up yourself, pulling the sheet with you.
The two of you make eye contact, and you give him a small grin. “Something on your mind Detective?” You murmur softly, holding in your yawn as best as you could with a measured breath. He shrugs, reaching over with an arm to pull you to his side of the bed.
“A few things...” He replies, his voice riddled with sleep but deep and breathy all in one.
As he dips his head to place a not so gentle nip on your shoulder, you maneuver yourself over his waist. Your hands travel along the light pink scratches you left the night prior along his chest and towards the back of his head, fingers curling around the short strands.
“What about your alarm?” You whisper against his skin as you press small kisses over his chest. His large hands trail to your waist, squeezing the supple flesh, kneading it like a soft dough. “Oh that? It’s kind of a pre-alarm. I’ve got an hour to spare before I’ve got to start rushing out the door,” He replies, groaning softly as you gently scrape your teeth against his nipple.
“And what do you plan to do with this....hour?” He’s bringing a hand under your chin and tilting your face up, thumb brushing against your bottom lip. “I’m thinking of having my way with this gorgeous woman until neither of us know up from down,” A smile grows on your face, and you’re wrapping your lips around the tip of his thumb. “Lucky woman....”

Your phone vibrates once more, and you take a moment to look away from your computer, another text flying across the screen.
Dinner and a movie next weekend?
You pick up your phone, flipping to the calendar, obviously knowing you were free before switching back to your text messages.
Sounds good to me. What are you in the mood for?
The bubbles appear and disappear for a few seconds and you leave it open as you finish typing up the project you were working on. It only takes a few seconds before your phone is vibrating again.
You. There’s that new Sci-fi movie that’s out.
Sounds like that can be arranged Detective. And I’m thinking Ramen as the appetizer? There’s this place downtown.
It’s a date.
You send a few more texts back and forth, biting your bottom lip.
The back of your chair jostles as hands lightly shake the back and you’re looking up, smiling at your coworker Leo. His dark brown eyes are practically sparkling, lightly glossed lips pulling into a knowing smirk. “That fine ass Detective again?” You set your phone down, crossing your arms over your chest.
“First of all, none of your business, but if you must know, yes, that fine ass Detective,” He’s rolling his eyes, sitting along the edge of your desk. You hold up a hand to stop him saying what you were expecting. “And no, we’re not dating. We go out, have a good time, back to one of our places and have the best sex of our lives. I like it this way,”
He sighs loudly, shaking his head. “That’s no fun! Don’t you want that passion to run deeper? Ugh, I’d have him wrapped around my finger! He got any brothers? Cousins? Cause baby....hmmmm,” You chuckle, leaning back in your seat, crossing your legs.
“We don’t do a lot of talking about much of anything,” “Oh I know....”
*Faceless*
You gasp almost silently, fingers threaded tightly in the sheets as warm lips suckle on your neck. “Oh f-fuck, Thor...” Your legs get pushed outward as he bottoms out, and you rest your head on your forearm as he slowly glides himself in and out. “Mhm…” He grunts, his lips kissing the back of your neck before he’s leaving a tingling sensation in his wake.
He shifts, sitting up, one hand planting along your waist, the other tangling gently at your hair.
The guttural groan that leaves him almost masks the sound of your whimper as he sharply glides forward. The slap of his thick thighs against your backside is loud, and he pulls out just enough before repeating the same motion.
Your stomach coils, another gasp falling from your lips. His grip tightens on your hair, the light tug the signal that you’ve learned to trust.
Your back arches as he starts to set a fast, hard pace, his groaning mingling with your cries. It’s brutal but gives you butterflies with every feeling of the tip of his cock.
“Fuck baby. Yeah, fucking take it,” He groans, pads of his fingers digging into your skin. You almost scream when he pushes your body into the mattress, keeping your lower back arched upward.
Your pleas and yeses get muffled but they’re there, your voice shaky, eyes rolled until you saw brief flashes of the candlelit room.
The sharp tone of his phone ringing barely breaks through the sounds of the night but it’s enough to have Thor slow down, hand reaching next to the dresser.
You’re expecting a pause as your hair is released but he answers, his voice rough but normal enough.
You can’t see, but both his hands return to your hips, and he’s thrusting back into you. You bite your lip hard, trying to mask the sound that wanted to leave you.
“Uh-huh,” He replies, and you can hear someone talking but it didn’t stop one hand pressing along your lower spine, the other wrapping around the back of your neck, fingers closing over your mouth, giving you just enough room to breathe out of your noise.
The pace he sets is slow and sharp, barely keeping his thighs from touching you. Your mewl is muffled behind his hand. “Is it the same guy? No I don’t need notes. When’s the briefing?” His tone is even andcalm, no matter how much you squirmed under him.
His hand squeezes your hip and then a cheek as he slowly fucks you. “I don’t care how many bodies the M.E. has. They’re going to wait for us to be on scene. Do we have any ID? I’m kind of busy at the moment…just….give me some details,”
You weren’t sure how long the conversation went, only that by the time he got off the phone, he was now kneeling in a puddle as you trembled under him.
“I’ve got to go soon…but…” He’s groaning as he slips out of you before gliding himself back in. “I know,” You moan behind his hand, whimpering again as he tightened his hand over your mouth.
“You can…stay….I know it’s late, fuck c’mon baby,” His hand is slapping against your ass and you tremble more if possible. “Cum on it for me,” He groans, hands back on your waist as he pulled and thrust.
“That’s it….fuck yeah….I’m almost…yeah just stay. Until tomorrow….shit. Yeah that’s a good girl,” You’re clenching around him, shaking as he groans and slowly pulls out of you. He cums into the condom, and you can feel the bed shake as your legs feel like jelly.
He’s kissing the back of your shoulder, breathing heavily. “I’ve got to head out and it’s already a half an hour drive. I’ll lock up and put the spare under the mat,”
You nod, barely listening as you closed your eyes.
He’s leaning over you before pressing a kiss against your lips, squeezing your thigh as he got up.

Your apartment was always quiet. Living on the third floor made it easy. Many people took up the first two to avoid taking all their shit up and down.
You didn’t have much to begin with when you moved to your apartment which made it just fine.
Your place was minimal with the one bedroom and bathroom space. Enough for just you and a guest or two to take space in your living room if need be.
Your apartment was color coded, natural tones in the living room, a few vibrant colors in the kitchen, and the occasional splotches of your favorite colors in your room and bathroom.
No one ever bothered you.
No one called you. No one needed you.
It was just you and a few neighbors. All were quiet. Kept to themselves. Your corner apartment gave access to all around you, just as much as to others. Hence why no one wanted it.
You look up from your plate, eyeing your most recent guest. Paris. She just needed a little guidance. Sometimes you took in strays. It was a hard, sometimes cold world.
“Comfortable?” You ask.
She turns, giving you a small smile.
“Yeah. It’s soft, comfortable. I hated sleeping on the floor,”
You smile, making your way over towards the living room, sitting across from her. She was in her early 20s, golden complexion. Her hair was down to her back, tight curls like a mop on her head.
“We could be sisters in another life,” She chuckles, resting against the back of the couch. “I think we’d pass,” She gives you a wide smile, hands crossing over her lap.
“So like I was saying. I just woke up on the floor and couldn’t believe my roommate would put me out and I’ve been trying to reach her and she literally just ignores me. It’s frustrating. I’ve been trying to find a new job and I just don’t know. The moment I turned 18, my momma just walked me out the door and my roommate was my friend,”
You hold up a hand stopping her as she picked at her nails. “Okay slow down. I can’t help you if you’re talking a mile a minute Paris. So what happened between you and your roommate?”
Her brown eyes roll, and she’s fiddling with her pink crop top, wiping at the stain that had just caught her attention.
“A nigga, that’s what….”
Faceless
"Goodnight! See you tomorrow!” You cross the street, phone in hand, keeping a vigilant eye around you. Your apartment was barely a five minute walk, and the darkening sky was just barely settling.
You’re checking your phone briefly, seeing a text from Thor.
Text me when you get home.
You keep it unread so you didn’t forget about it and continue.
It was a Sunday so the streets weren’t as busy, a few people bustling about also trying to get home.
As you turn the corner and onto your street, your name is being called by a familiar voice. You turn your head, but keep walking. Up the road was Paris, excitedly waving at you as she slowly jogs from the sidewalk.
“Hold up!”
You pause in your steps, waiting for her as she crossed. A car speeds by as she does so, barely missing her. She stops briefly, turning and waving her arms. “Slow down asshole!” She turns back to you, a smile gracing her lips.
She finally steps onto your side of the street, and you continue on your way home. “Didn’t expect to see you out here,” You shrug, nodding to her. “Just left the bar with some friends. Almost home,” She steps alongside you, following your stride with ease.
Her arm presses against yours as she takes in a deep breath. “Oh my gosh, you feel like a heater. Are you getting sick?” She presses her cool hand against your arm, and you chuckle. “No, not getting sick. Just been walking,” She hums next to you, looking down at the ground. “You wouldn’t happen to have a spare change of clothes would you? None of my stuff is where I left it and my car was gone. My lips are chapped and they keep bleeding. Ugh, it’s been one hell of a day,”
When you met Paris for the first time, you told her that if she needed anything, just to ask.
You could help.
“I went to go visit my mom today, just to see if she could loan me some money, but she too was ignoring me. I was being myself and started to get frustrated and she just walked on by like she didn’t her me,”
Your apartment building comes into view, and you pull out your keys, eyeing your car keys.
“Paris? Let’s take a quick drive to see your mom,” She looks down at you confused but shrugs. “I don’t know what you’re going to do that I haven’t but, you told me to trust you so sure,”
After loading up into your two-door Honda, you make the short drive out of the downtown area and into one of the local neighborhoods. Paris talked the whole way as she gave you directions, random things here and there and asked multiple times if she could turn up the heat.
Paris was sweet but like a squirrel but all over the place.
She finally stops talking as you pull onto her street and she points towards her house. You pull to a stop a few houses down before cutting off the engine. She starts to place her hand on the door before you stop her. “Paris, wait,”
You motion towards the man standing outside the front door talking with whom you assumed was her mother. “Oh shit. Is that a cop?” Paris flings open the passenger door before stepping out, and you’re quick to follow. “Paris! Wait, I need to tell you something,”
You reach for her hand, clasping it tightly. She swivels around, her eyes suddenly watery.
“I need to know why that cop is talking to my momma,” You let her hand go, deciding to stay put as she crossed the road. “Momma! Momma!”
You frown, sighing softly as you wait.
It always hit you hard. These types.
You hated getting close, and on top of it with Thor standing only a few hundred feet away from you, this situation was going to get far more messier.
Paris is suddenly appearing next to you, tears down her face. “Why can’t they....how did I...”
You look over at her, taking her cold hand.
“They can’t hear or see you. Not now, not ever,”
She looks over at you, a hand pressing against her mouth. “But you...you can see me, touch me....I don’t...” You turn to her, brushing some hair from her face. “Paris, you were murdered last week. I am the only one that can see you. And that man, is going to do whatever he can to find out who did this to you,”

Pairing: Steve Rogers x Fem!Reader
Warning: Hurt/comfort, exes to lovers, name Steve being a jealous lil butthole.
Summary: Steve doesn't like that you're dating someone new after a breakup.
A/N: This was for @elixirfromthestars arcade game Prompts I got: "I don't think my heart can take watching you love someone else again." "Did I ever really matter to you?"
Word Count: 742
Jeremy (boyfriend not boyfriend?)
You and Steve have been broken up for almost two years now, and in those two years you have repaired what Steve broke. Yes, the breakup was mutual, so you keep saying, but Steve was the one that brought it up first. Something about needing to find himself and you need to find yourself in order to grow, blah blah blah. It was all a bunch of bullshit.
Steve watched you every Friday night come home from a date with a guy he absolutely despises. Every Friday when you came home, you had a huge smile on your face, one that used to belong to him. He wasn't your boyfriend, just someone you spent your Friday nights with at least that's how you saw it.
One weekend you brought him over to the compound for game night. The first game was trivia, then charades, and finally a version of the "newlywed game" basically a "who knows who better" game. Steve got paired with Bucky, Sam with Natasha, Tony with Pepper, You with Jeremy. Everyone was doing great, it got to you and Jeremy. Tony asked all the questions, even ones that no one else was asked.
"Tony, no one else was asked that question, why are you asking him?" You rolled your eyes, looking over at him.
"It's a simple question." Tony smirked and looked at Steve from his peripheral.
"Well, to answer your question, Tony. No, we haven't had sex." Jeremy rolled his eyes and glared over at you.
You sunk down in your seat. That question ended game night. Some thought Tony ruined it, others didn't seem to mind. You were helping Steve clean up the living room while the others made popcorn and got blankets.
"So, it's getting serious between you and Jeremy?" Steve broke the silence, you stood up straight holding random piece of paper in your hand.
"Uh, kind of? Not really." You looked over at Jeremy who sat at the island with a disgusted loo on his face.
"Can I be honest?" Steve turned toward you
"Yeah, what's up." You mimicked his movements.
"I don't think it's going to work out. I mean come on Y/N, look at him he's sitting there not doing anything with a disgusted look on his face judging everyone."
"I don't really think it's your place to think anything, but honestly." You exhaled deeply "You're right, between you and me, I've been unhappy for a while."
"Y/N—"
"No, I can't keep pretending that I don't miss you. I'm still in love with you, Steve."
"Wow, I mean I always had a feeling but wow." Jeremy was now behind you, chuckling coldly.
You froze in your spot, you cursed to yourself and slowly turned around.
"I'm sorry, but I meant what I said. I can't keep pretending." You shrugged your shoulders, standing tall.
"I only used you to get in good with the avengers anyway." He shrugged and walked out of the compound.
You watched him walk away, a part of you was relieved but at the same time you're all alone again. You needed someone to fill the void of Steve. You turned and looked at everyone.
"I'm sorry for ruining the night, I just couldn't do it anymore. Steve I'm sorry for springing that on you as well."
"Don't be." Steve took a step towards you. "Please come back to me, I don't think my heart can take watching you love someone else again."
"Just please answer me this." You mimicked his movements. "Did I ever really matter to you?"
"You mattered more than the entire universe to me, I have never been more in love than I am with you." His hands cupped your cheeks, pulling you closer to him.
"If you two don't kiss so we can watch the damn movie." Tony interjected from behind you.
You smiled up at Steve and leaned in pressing your lips softly against his. When the two of you finally pulled back, the rest of the group already set up the blankets. You looked at the loveseat and saw the blanket Steve got you for your birthday, you exhaled happily and sat down, opening the blanket for him.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter and small commentary that made you laugh even harder. Sure, you felt bad for how things ended with Jeremy, but truthfully, he was dead weight and you were happy to get rid of him.
A/N: I'm sorry if this is a little rushed, i needed to post something, and i hope you guys like it, if you want to be tagged in future fics comment here or send me a message. Likes, comments, and reblogs are appreciated. 🥰

A/N: I was in “CEvans chars” mood lately. So, bear with me. Here’s another mini-series with Steve.
A birthday should be a happy occasion, shouldn’t it?
All birthdays you celebrated with your husband were happy. All of them but the last one.
You waited for Tony to come home and join you for dinner. You had prepared his favorite meal and gifts. Especially the smallest box was important to you.
Your heart fluttered when you heard the front door open.
You expected him to come home on time and celebrate his birthday with you.
What you did not expect was for him to throw divorce papers in your face.
“What’s this?” You asked, picking up the pages he threw in your face. Tony didn’t look like he was joking. He wore a serious expression while your heart was hammering in your chest. “What has gotten into you?”
“The better question is—what has gotten into you. Or better, whom!" He yelled at you, making you flinch. Tony had never raised his voice around you. Your husband reserved his anger for business partners or for people who got on his nerves. Not you. Never you.
“Tons, I’m not in the mood for one of your not-funny jokes. Stop scaring me,” you tried to reason with your husband, but he only scoffed. Tony walked toward the dining table to flip it over. The carefully prepared gifts and food landed on the floor. In ruins, just like you.
“TONY!” You screamed. “What’s going on? I cooked for hours. If someone messed with a deal, it’s not my fault.”
“Out of all the guys out there, you had to fuck him! The golden boy! My worst concurrent and sworn enemy!” Tony got pictures out of his jacket and threw them in your face.
“That’s ridiculous!” You couldn’t believe Tony accused you of sleeping with his enemy, Steve Rogers. “I’d never do this to you. How can you believe this, Tony? You and Rogers are sworn enemies. He called me your arm candy some years back. That man is an arrogant prick, and I wouldn’t poke him with a stick!”
“Pictures don’t lie,” Tony snapped at you.
“Did your IQ drop on your way home? You remember that AI exists, right? Even before AI, there was Photoshop and shit. I never slept with Rogers, and you know it.”
“AI didn’t fuck Steve Rogers. People saw you in his car, in his house, and even at his office. Stop lying. Sign the papers, and I’ll let you walk out of my house with what’s left of your dignity.”
It was the first time he had called your home, his house, and it broke something inside you. You looked at your husband, searching his face. There wasn’t anything left of the man you fell in love with.
“Whoever told you these lies won the moment you doubted me and my loyalty. From this moment on, we are done.”
You crouched down to pick up the pages, searching for the ones to sign. “Go ahead, sign them to get all cozy with Rogers.”
With shaking fingers, you signed the divorce papers and carelessly dropped them to the ground; your wedding band and engagement ring followed them.
“I never slept with Rogers, but after today, I will,” you said, holding Tony’s gaze. "Because I think he’s smart enough to distinguish a lie, and fake images from the truth.”
Tony tried to say something. For only a second, you saw fear in his eyes.
“You wouldn’t…”
You gave him a cold smile. “Tony, one day you will regret this, but it will be too late. We are done. No matter what,” you choked on your tears but walked away and upstairs with your head held high. He had revealed his ugly true self, and you wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry.
Packing your things was easier than you thought. You only grabbed the things you cherished and left everything else behind.
Tony was standing in the doorframe, watching you slam the second suitcase shut. He held the tiny box in his hand, staring at its contents.
“It’s his, isn’t it?”
“Yes, of course. I spent all this time with fertility treatment to get pregnant for another man, Tony. What else could it be?” You scoffed. “I only ever wanted to carry your baby, but believe whatever helps you sleep at night.”
Tony watched you walk past him. He didn’t offer to carry one of the heavy suitcases, nor did he follow you downstairs. Your husband simply stopped caring about you and your well-being over a lie.
Cold. Clean. Impersonal. You woke up in a white room with sterile walls and the scent of antiseptic. You didn’t remember how you ended up in a hospital room, or why your body felt like you got hit by a train.
“You’re awake,” the nurse said, stepping closer to your bed. She carefully checked on you, her eyes never meeting yours. “The doctor will be here in a minute.”
“What happened?” You croaked, voice raw. “I don’t remember going to the hospital.”
She sighed deeply, and you knew something terrible must’ve happened. “The doctor will explain everything in a minute.” The nurse hurriedly left the room, leaving you alone and scared.
“Mrs. Stark,” the doctor softly spoke to you. “There has been an accident.” He confirmed your worst fear. “You slipped and fell down the stairs at your home. The maid found you and called the ambulance.”
“The maid,” you murmured, recalling everything that had happened last night. “Not my husband?”
“Uh—he wasn’t at home according to the maid,” the doctor said, giving you an apologetic look. “We tried anything, but we couldn’t…”
“You couldn’t save the baby, right?” You sniffled silently. Silence settled in the hospital room, only broken by the sobs leaving your lips. It took everything in you to say, “So…let me get this straight. I fell down the stairs, and my husband left the house, leaving me broken and bleeding on the ground. I was losing our baby, and he didn’t even care.”
“I can’t answer your questions,” the doctor hastily said. A lie. You could see it in his eyes. Margaret worked for you for years. She would’ve never told lies. Tony must’ve bribed everyone to silence them.
“It’s always about his damn reputation,” you laughed through tears. “He doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself.”
“Mrs. Stark, I’m sorry. I’ll leave you alone for now. You need to rest.”
You watched the doctor flee out of the room, leaving you even more heartbroken. The hollowness in your heart spread through your whole body. You closed your eyes and allowed yourself to feel all the pain.
“I will never forgive you for this, Tony Stark.”
“It’s mine?” Tony checked the DNA test he received shortly after you lost your baby. Tony reread it, and his cold ran cold. “How can it be mine?”
“Well, boss,” his assistant cleared his throat. “I checked the data, the footage, and the images. Mrs. Stark did not lie, Sir. They are all fake. She never met up with Rogers. He was out of the country when most of the footage was taken. It’s not Rogers, nor your wife, on the footage.”
“This can’t be! My experts told me the footage and images are genuine.” Tony’s voice carried a trace of panic. “If you try to fuck with me, it’s the wrong time!”
“Boss, IT ran all the tests for days. The images and footage are well done, but still fake. Someone put a lot of effort into faking evidence of your wife’s infidelity. Maybe they wanted to cause a rift between you and Mrs. Stark, or maybe they wanted you to go after Rogers. I don’t know yet.”
Tony didn’t listen. He couldn’t hear his assistant’s words. All he heard was that the evidence he believed in was nothing but lies. His eyes drifted toward the white stripe on his finger, and his chest tightened.
“Fuck!” He gripped the edge of his desk, his head swimming. “I let my baby die…”
You spent five days answering questions about how you feel.
They tried to help you, you knew that, but it didn’t make you feel better at all. The baby was gone, and so was your life with Tony.
The door barely closed before it opened again, a little softer this time. Someone steps inside, the shadow of the man you married. Tony looked like he had gone through hell, but you couldn’t care less.
“Y/N, darling,” he said, his voice thick with emotion. “I did you wrong. The images and footage were fake.” Tony looked at you, waiting for a reaction, but you simply stared at the ceiling. “I know you are hurting, but I was hurting too.”
“Leave,” was all you said.
“Darling, we can work this out,” Tony tried to convince you to forgive him, as you had so often in the past when he made a mistake. “I fucked up big time, but we can fix this.”
Your voice lacked any emotion when you said, “You killed our baby. I was bleeding out when you stepped over my body and left. There’s no fixing this.” You turned your head to look at him. “You killed our love, too, when you believed someone else over me.”
Tony tried to argue, but one of the nurses stepped inside the room. “Sir, I must ask you to leave. Mrs. Stark needs to rest. She’s been through a lot.”
“Yeah…uh…sure,” Tony stammered. He reluctantly left the room, still believing you’d forgive him—you always did.
“What do you want?” You asked the man stepping inside your hospital room. “I’m sure you want to visit someone else.”
“I came to see you,” Steve Rogers casually said. He stepped closer to your bed to look at your broken arm. “I heard what happened.”
“I’m sure you had something to do with the fake evidence,” you bit back, still that fire in your eyes he liked so much. “Leave. You did enough damage for a lifetime.”
“It wasn’t me,” he said, sitting down next to your bed. “I’m a bastard, but not a goddamn bastard jeopardizing an innocent life.”
A tear slipped down your cheek at the mention of your baby. “You did worse in the past. I heard all the stories, Rogers. Stop pretending you are not a cruel man.”
“They are just that, stories…tales,” Steve replied with a cracked smile. “If I wanted to destroy your husband, I’d have chosen a different way. I swear on my mother’s life, hurting you is the last thing I’d ever do, doll.”
“You called me an arm candy, and a sugar babe,” you weakly replied, too tired to fight left in you. “You’d use me against my husband. Congratulations, you killed his heir and my marriage with one strike.”
“You lost a baby?” Steve’s eyes saddened. He knew you got hurt after the fight with Tony and nothing else. “Y/N, I swear. I had nothing to do with all of this. I came here to offer my help.” Steve stammered. “I’m so sorry for your loss.”
“I’m only an arm candy.” You slowly turned around, ignoring Steve’s presence. “All of you are the same. Tony. You. Every other man I have ever met. I’m so tired of you…”
Steve didn’t leave your side. He stayed the night, watching you silently cry in your sleep. For a man, his stand, he softened only for the persons closest to him.
It surprised him that your pain and grief moved his cold heart. “Doll, I’ll find out who did this to you. I hate Stark, but not you. Never you.”
He slowly rose from his seat, trying to get the kinks out of his body. Steve fished his phone out of his pocket to call in a few favors.
“I want to know who sent Stark the images and footage of his wife cheating on him. Find them. You have four hours.”
Steve looked at you one last time, sighing deeply. He hated that you looked small and vulnerable, so unlike the feisty woman giving him hell whenever he dared to get close to her.
“I always wanted to take you away from Stark, just not like this…”
Steve Rogers came back every day. While your husband was busy with business and finding out who ruined his picture-perfect marriage, his enemy came to you to make amends.
“You need to eat more, doll,” he scolded you one morning when you shoved the food away and refused to eat. “I know it’s hard to see the good things in life right now. Your marriage lies in ruins, and…you lost a baby. But if you allow me to help you, I’ll hurt everyone who was involved in breaking up your marriage.”
You lifted your gaze to look at Steve. He looked different in the light the hospital room provided. Maybe it was your imagination, but this wasn’t the arrogant prick you had met years ago at one of Tony’s infamous parties.
“Tony is the monster, not the person trying to ruin my marriage. He let them put all these thoughts into his head, and that’s what hurts the most.” You choked on tears. “He sent flowers and jewelry after he left me bleeding on the ground, but didn’t come to visit me. He’s a coward.”
“Do you want me to make him pay? I’ll destroy your husband if you want me to, Y/N. Just say the word.”
You didn’t hesitate to answer Steve. “Ex-husband. He forced me to sign the divorce papers. Tony Stark is nothing but a bad taste in my mouth.”
A few days later, you were ready to leave the hospital. Steve offered his help while your husband was busy sulking and drinking at home. He didn’t have the guts to come to visit you again.
Tony believed his assistant would take care of bringing you home. He was wrong, though. You ignored the past and decided to use Steve’s power to get back at your husband and the people destroying your life.
"Are you ready to head out? I have my people on their way to pack up your things,” Steve said, watching you slowly walk toward the door. He offered his arm, but you didn’t take his offer. You weren’t friends. “I won’t bite.”
“If you bite, I’ll bite back twice as hard,” you retorted without missing a beat. Steve chuckled at your comeback. The fire in your eyes was back, and he was glad Tony didn’t distinguish it forever.
“I wouldn’t mind a little bite mark from you.” He shrugged before grabbing your bag and jacket. “My driver is waiting for us. Please tell me if you need anything else.”
“My ex-husband’s head on a silver platter would be nice.” Steve grinned, but you were dead serious. Tony destroyed your faith and trust in him. He promised to always protect you and let you down in the worst way possible.
Steve nodded knowingly. “Consider it done. I can’t decapitate your husband, but I can hit him where it hurts, doll.”
The tall blonde bastard smirked. He looked you up and down, his eyes roaming your body. It was obvious what he was thinking about.
“I won’t sleep with you, Rogers.”
“Not…yet.” He shrugged. “You’ll change your mind.” If confidence had a face, it would look like Steve Rogers’.
“Just tell this to yourself. This is a business deal only. I’ll tell you everything I know about Tony’s business, his partners, and his weak spots, and you’ll help me destroy him.”
Steve opened the door for you, holding it to let you walk out ahead of him.
“You will see, I’m more than a pretty face and money.”
Tony was an asshole and he deserves the hell coming his way and for the bay reader is treating him. To not only come home late but on a birthday no less and then with divorce papers what kind of demon can you be. Like seriously my dude gtfoh. So disrespectful. Then he wouldn’t even listen to reason. I hope whoever lied to him was worth it because he lost the best thing to happen to him and is probably going to lose his business too. I think he pushed her down the stairs. He saw she was struggling with her bags and like a coward he didn’t even bother to help just stood there. SMH then didn’t even try to make things right at the hospital. Yeah he was kicked out originally but he never showed back up. Showing up might have softened her heart some but to be absent and then try to buy her with jewelry and flowers is not the way. Go to hell Tony with your tom ford suit on.

What kind of request would you like? something like that? Bucky (thunderbolt for example but anything could work), Yelena is at a coffee shop and she hears this girl (the friends are trying to convince her to date again but she has enough/she does not like this kind of thing) say (because the thunderbolt are seen on TV) : you want to arrange something for me? it's Bucky Barnes or leave me alone (as a joke). Yelena makes it her mission to put them together : funny, sweet...
IF you want to write it of course. Feel very free to not use it ;)
I absolutely love this!! this is perfect
Leave it to Yelena
Bucky Barnes x Fem!Reader
Warning: nothing really?
Summary: Your friends are trying to get you to date again
Word Count: 550
You're at your local coffee shop, your friends are blabbering about you getting back out there and dating again. Truthfully, you wanted to date, but it seemed like no one had the same drive as you did, and you also didn't really like dating. As bad as it sounds, having to deal with other people's feelings was just too much sometimes.
"Guys, listen. I don't want to date." You rolled your eyes, then looked up at the T.V "You know what, it's Bucky Barnes or leave me alone."
Your friends exchanged looks, then looked back at you. You knew it would be impossible for them to do that, you were also joking about it. What you didn't know was that Yelena was ordering coffee at the counter and heard everything. She smirked to herself and mentally made it her mission to get you two together.
A few days went by, Yelena internet stalked you, before she actually stalked you, even though she didn't call it stalking. She tracked your every move, in hopes to run into you with Bucky. Just when she was about to give up, you walked into the coffee shop with the same friends.
You were walking toward the counter when Yelena stuck her foot out and tripped you. You started to fall forward when suddenly a pair of strong arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you toward them. You looked up and was met with the most gorgeous blue eyes you've ever seen. Then it hit you.
Bucky Barnes
"I uh I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." You couldn't stop staring.
"It's okay, I'm glad I could catch you." He smiled wide, removing his hands from your body.
"Let me make it up to you, can I buy you a coffee?" You looked in his hand and saw a to-go cup "How about a muffin?"
"Sure, sounds good." He follows you up to the counter.
You ordered your coffee along with his muffin, you were about to pay when Bucky "accidentally" knocked over your wallet. You playfully smacked his arm and bent down to pick it up. When you came back up you saw Bucky handing the barista a 20 telling her to keep the change.
"Hey, I was gonna pay for that." You whined
"What kind of man would I be if I let the lady pay?" He picked up your cup and his muffin, handing you your coffee.
You forgot about your friends for a split second, only to realize they had already left. You shrugged your shoulders and sat down with Bucky, he pulled the chair out for you then sat down in front of you.
"I caught you, bought you coffee, and pulled out your chair, yet you haven't told me your name yet."
"Where are my manners? I'm Y/N." You held your hand out to shake his.
"Hmm, Y/N." He shook your hand, with a big smile plastered on his face "Beautiful"
And just like that, Bucky was hooked and so were you. Bucky had the same drive you did, his ambition to get things done matched yours. Bucky made you feel again, he appealed and triggered to your competitive side in the best way possible. He helped you see the beauty in falling in love.
A/N: I hope I did this justice, I tried my best! if you want to be a part of the taglist, comment here.
Loved this. I bet she didn’t think she would actually meet Bucky Barnes talk about being somewhere right time right place for Yelena to overhear and make it happen.
Characters: Bucky Barnes (of course, he's around for a sister series)
Warnings: cocky reader, a/b/o, a/b/o dynamics, pack au, implied short reader (she’s shorter than Steve. I didn’t define her height), arguments, kick in the balls, enemies to...?
Square filled for @steverogersbingo: A 5: Large Steve
A/N: This idea was haunting me... so here we go with another a/b/o miniseries. Suffer with me.
A/N2: For my story, Steve is taller than Bucky.
You were gone for two years, and everything had changed.
When you set foot on your old pack’s territory, you could feel the shift in the air. It wasn’t just the smell of a long-lost battle, but something else.
The air felt cleaner, promising a better life. You didn’t know why, but it made your feet walk faster toward the small cottage at the end of the territory. The one you call your own.
“Hold, who’s there?” An alpha you never saw before blocked your path. He looked you up and down and scoffed when you came to a hold, stopping your rolling luggage at his feet. “What do you want here?”
“Dude, it’s 2 am, I still suffer from jet lag, and you are blocking my path to my home. I lived here all my life,” you said, jerking your head toward the small cottage. “I don’t know who you are, and frankly, I don’t give a flying fuck. Just get out of my way.”
The alpha scoffed and crossed his arms over his wide chest. “You won’t get past me.” He said, matter-of-factly. “You’re an intruder.”
You groaned loudly before dropping your bags to the ground. The alpha watched you stretch your limbs and crack your neck with amusement.
“Remember,” you said, looking the alpha straight in the eyes. “You asked for this.”
“What do you want to do, little pup?” He laughed in your face, waking the furious omega in you. “I’ll break your neck if—”
The alpha whined low in his throat when your foot connected with his groin. The power behind your kick was beyond anything he’d ever experienced. He didn’t expect you to attack him with the evilest move ever.
“Well, if you are being an ass, showing off your balls,” you said, cupping his jaw as he was holding his bruised balls, “I’ll simply smash them. Now, if you’d excuse me. I’d love to go to my house and get some sleep.”
You stepped away and looked down at the alpha. He was in pain, and you pitied him. “Put ice on that and get some rest. You’ll be fine and can make pups in no time.”
You were about to pick up your bags when someone clapped their hands behind you.
Twirling around, you gulped hard. An even taller and more imposing alpha had sneaked up on you from behind. He was standing toe-to-toe with you, looking down at you, a smirk tugging at his plump lips.
He was a sight for sore eyes. His medium-length light brown hair and the full, well-groomed beard that framed his jawline only added to his handsome appearance.
“I see you defeated one of my mightiest warriors,” he casually said, blue eyes boring into you, searching for any trace of fear or weakness.
A shiver ran down your spine, and goosebumps erupted all over your skin when his scent hit you.
“Focus,” you muttered under your breath, fighting your instinct to submit to the strong alpha. “And who are you again?” You couldn’t stop yourself from angering the alpha.
“Strange,” he replied, his smirk deepening. “Shouldn’t you know the alpha of your pack?” The alpha cocked his head, eying you warily. “Or did you lie about living here all your life?”
You curled your lip in disgust. “As far as I remember, the alpha of this pack was my douchebag ex-mate, who was more of a man-whore than a leader.”
“Do I sense a sob story?” The bastard dared to make fun of your heartbreaking past.
“Get fucked,” you snapped back, your eyes widening. “I don’t do sob stories. If you fuck with me, I’ll make you bleed or remodel your beloved bike with a baseball bat.” You flashed the alpha a smirk and turned to leave.
“A feisty and fiery one, I see.” He grabbed your wrist, keeping you from leaving him. “Still, you will not disrespect your alpha.”
You sighed long and exasperated. “Listen, we are not living in the dark ages anymore. I know pack dynamics are still a thing, and I don’t mind treating people with respect if they do the same. Your bodyguard didn’t treat me with respect. He tried to stop me from going home and getting some sleep.”
Looking over your shoulder, you added, “and you are not my alpha, dude. I told you, the douchebag is the alpha of this pack. As much as I hate him, he’s still the one in charge of this pack. So, stop bugging me.”
“Do you have a death wish? You should show respect to your alpha and stop being a disobedient brat!” The alpha’s commanding voice boomed through the silent area. Even the alpha on the ground was shaking in distress.
“It’s a talent. Disobedience is just one of many of my personal traits.”
You smirked at the much taller alpha. A flicker of anger flared in your eyes, and for a moment, the alpha could see the fighter in you. The one who never backs down.
“Steve, she’s more dangerous than you think,” the alpha on his knees groaned in pain. “She just kneed my balls.”
“Aw, princess,” you cooed and winked at the brunette who was slowly trying to get back on his feet. “I could’ve ripped your dick off, too. I was being gentle.”
“Gentle?” The alpha hiccupped. “You bruised my balls! Stop acting like you were nice.” He glared your way, still holding his groin. “Steve, don’t get anywhere near her. She’s feral.”
“Feral?” You took one step toward the brunette. “Only because I’m not taking shit from knotheads any longer doesn’t mean I’m feral. It’s called self-respect.”
“Buck, just give it up. She’s a walking disaster and mine to tame,” Steve said, stepping closer to you. His size was impressive, but you didn’t give away that you’d like to climb him like a tree. Biology and instinct suck sometimes.
“Walking disaster?” You cocked your head. “I was simply minding my business and tried to go home. Your buddy over there blocked my way. It’s not my fault he’s dull and wouldn’t leave me alone.”
“Dull?” Bucky echoed, but Steve lifted his hand to stop the brunette from fighting with you.
“Buck, go home. Maybe find a nice omega on your way to help you with your problem.” Bucky’s eyes lit up at Steve’s words. He nodded and walked away.
Steve followed his friend with his eyes before turning his full attention back toward you. “Rules must be followed, doll. Even if you weren't around when I took over your pack.”
“It’s not my fault; John was a lousy alpha, only thinking with his dick. If you are the new guy in town, fine by me. Just don’t get in my way.” You gave him a thumbs up and turned to pick up your things, but he wouldn’t have it.
“Stop!” His voice was more commanding now. You stiffened and tilted your head in submission. He watched you fight his alpha command, still with that stupid smirk on his lips. “Things have changed. If you want to rejoin this pack, you will follow my rules and contribute to the pack.”
You struggled to keep a straight face. “I contributed to the pack for years. I allowed them to use my lands, and the bakery in town is mine too. What else do you want? A blood sacrifice?”
Steve’s smirk deepened. He stepped closer, aware that you couldn’t move or fight him. “You will come to my office first thing in the morning. 9 am sharp, doll. Not a minute late.”
He looked in your cottage’s direction and then at you. His large hand cupped your chin to tilt your head. The alpha stared at your untouched mating gland; his eyes dilated for only a second.
“Now get some sleep. Alpha’s order…” When you finally could move again, Steve was long gone.
“FUCKER!” You clenched your fists, deciding to give the alpha hell first thing in the morning.
I already like their dynamic. They are going to be butting heads quite a bit but he will enjoy it in the end. I like a FL who is fiery and doesn’t take shit from anyone.
